Review Elroys Cafe - Joondalup

Japanese Dining hidden in the local suburb of Connolly with lovely ambience with a view of the lovely little outdoor garden. Excellent service and friendly staff. Each dish is beautifully presented and served. Assorted tempura was our favourite amongst all the dishes we’ve ordered for the night. Our only disappointment was when we were informed that the gold sashimi and miso toothfish weren’t available. Prices and portion comparison is more like high-end fine dining, each dish’s serving size was much less to our expectation given the menu prices so consider it to be quite expensive. However, good to try it out.

Wow!! Our first time was so lovely! This place is romantic and SO SO SO cute. Dario is honestly THE best. Big thank you to him for being so friendly, kind, patient, humorous, and just down right friendly. He truly made our night. The food is fanastic. 5/5 I love the decor, the ambience, the view outside. Everything was beautiful. We ordered a lot of food and it was all reasonably affordable!! I have already recommended this restaurant to three friends.

Great food and great service. A busy night, but the staff were attentive. Food tasted great. Had the sashimi, uni, shabu shabu and beef tataki. Recommended to visit and try.

Good place. Live piano made the place more valuable. Food was tasty and looks great but I feel some menus are a bit over priced. I had a good time by the way. Thanks.

Beautiful Japanese Restaurant. The service was great, there was a new person learning on the job the night we started but he did an amazing job. The atmosphere is great, would be a great restaurant for date night. It was quite busy even though we went on a Tuesday night. The portions for the mains were massive, I couldn't even finish my meal. But the quality was amazing. I cannot wait to return here.

Went last Thursday for my husband's birthday because of all very good reviews but to our disappointment 😞. Fine dinning price but not service and food. According to their website their chef had worked at Nobu before but I only see 2 young Caucasian lads and 1 young Asian looking working in the kitchen and 1 young Caucasian waiter. Our water had not been refilled since we were there. Tau Fo dish is not as soft as it should be. Had been to other Japanese places which are much better and cheaper

Came in for the first time today, got a Scottish breakfast roll, nothing short of amazing! Brilliant square sausage, amazing melt in your mouth black pudding, perfectly runny fried egg and awesome tattie scone! The roll was not too crunchy or too soft either. Will DEFINITELY be back to try one of your fry ups!

Wow!! Just wow!! Best everything! Scottish, Kiwi, Aussie and an English traditional breakfast to choose from!! All amazing! Fantastic value for money. I mean how many owners come out from behind the counter/kitchen to say g'day!! Thank you to Douglas and the team for turning a usually boring Saturday brunch ritual into an awesome experience!

Finally made the trek to your famous cafe, as I am in the wheatbelt, over 2.30 hours away, your cafe was the first stop when I came out of hospital. Your potato scones are the BEST i have ever tasted, Black pudding, Haggis and fruit pudding was amazing, just like I was back in Scotland if not BETTER, have tried other butchers efforts over the years but they can never NAILit, usually too peppery for my liking, I am coming back down on the 5th of June and hoping to buy out your shop of potato scones.

Really nice , good priced breakfast. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is we had to wait quite a while for drinks but in fairness it was really busy😊
