We came by for dinner on our last night in Kalbarri. The restaurant is hidden in the back, away from the main town area. There are road signs to it so it isn't too hard to find. We didn't book and were able to get a table, although it was outside and it did look like it was about to start spitting (but never did). The dining area is quite interesting in that it is mostly outdoor with areas which are covered. There are also a few seats inside by the brewery area. The decor was very interesting, mostly old items being displayed. There was also a fire pit roaring away which was good for toasting marshmallows (one of their desserts). The menu had quite a few seafood and non-seafood options. The large blackboard also had specials, both food and drinks. You order at the counter and they bring out the food when it's ready. the fish was so fresh and tasty. I had the pan-fried fish and chips and it was cooked perfectly. I also tried one of the tacos and that was fresh and delicious. They also had a large selection of local beers which was interesting. It is a nice place for drinks and food since there are quite a bit of options and they are all quite nice.

Good spot for a family dinner. Interesting and eclectic decor which suits the Kalbarri environs. Loved the option for marshmallows on a stick to toast in the open fire, which was roped off. Only downside, not much for the dairy free or gluten free patron. Bonus - provision of blankets to use, as after dark it gets cool.

Outstanding service and amazing food! The fully booked sign was out when we arrived without a reservation but we were seated straight away, given menus and member of staff explained the specials, she was extremely helpful and accommodating. The beer was great and the food came out quickly, absolutely faultless and such a great a vibe!

“Fully booked tonight” sign was out and we still were seated right away. Very friendly staff and unique set up. Dark ale was amazing, as were the fish tacos. Side salad was actually interesting & had a flavourful dressing, rare. Food came out very quick.

Great place to relax after a long day. Had the fish tacos, seafood linguine and clams - all really tasty and the seafood was fresh. Only negative is we had to wait about 50 minutes for food and was only told this at the cashier after lining up for 15 minutes to order our food. Luckily we weren't very hungry! Would be good if the waitress had let us know when giving us our tables.

What a quirky pub in Kalbarri - a definite MUST see place. The venue is a beer garden, with sheltered areas, and you are surrounded by museum like relics. I went during the week for a cold bevie, and again to the popular Sunday session. Sunday was live music, lots of people, great food and my favourite Ginger Beer alcoholic. They have so many local beers on tap worth trying. And the seafood is yummo!
