Review Vita Cafe - Karratha

Vita, Vita, Vita……….. What a disappointing experience. The location is great, parking aside. When walking into the place, it looks clean and tidy. The tables and chairs are clean, the cutlery in the containers on each table are plentiful and clean also. Then it goes downhill from there. The waiter taking the order was polite and friendly, but he didn’t write our order down and completely stuffed it up. We ordered two kids meals and two adults meals, 4 drinks and 2 entrees. 30 odd minutes later the drinks arrived. Ok….. its not a busy night but maybe they knew that and didn’t have a lot of staff on. 25 minutes later, one adult meal rocked up. WTF? Where’s the entrees? 10 minutes later another adult meal as well as a single entree arrrived followed immediately by a single kids meal. 5 minutes passed and nothing else came. I asked the friendly waiter where the other stuff was. He said entrees were still coming. I asked about the other kids meal. He forgot about it. He said he’d get the kitchen to rush it. No don’t bother, its pointless now. Maybe you should write the orders down?? The Thai curry was nice, the seafood fettuccine was rubbish. The calamari we ordered for the kids was great, shame it didn’t come for two people as ordered. The bill came and we were charged for an extra soft drink that wasn’t ordered. By this stage I’d had enough of the place and just paid and left. Never ever to return.

Food took 45 Min to come out( ordered fish and chips that tasted like mud), I had to watch 4 of the 8 tables in the restaurant get there food before me even though I'd ordered 10 minutes earlier than them and there was a table there that had ordered just as I sat at my seat that had to wait another 5 Min after me. It very disappointing especially considering how expensive it was $29.90 for one tiny peace of fish and two prawns and a hand full of chips

Party of six for brunch, not very happy with the service or quality of food today. Our order took an hour to arrive, and apon arrival was cold and either missing items or completely wrong altogether. No offer of genuine apology or discount.

Nice dimly decorated cafe restaurant for couple and families. large dinning area. Family friendly service made me feel at home. Food on plate was well presented but a little strong with MSG. I like their outdoor seating lounge frontage.

Absolutely love the food and service.. The green curry is nothing less than amazing, so good my 5 and 7 year old begged to go back the next night and have a mild one.. Of course we went back...

We must have had the "B" team on duty. The Thai Seafood Curry at $40 a plate was overpriced and very meagre. Rude staff and no attention at the table whatsoever after the meal was served. On mentioning the problem the manager on duty could not care less and was quite rude. Never again,!

Nice food , menu items limited to certain dishes during lunch , evening fully available, table service is provided but wait staff seem reluctant to provide this service , even. When it's quiet , been three times and always same , but the restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and looks great

Presentation 4/5- Songs playing in background were not radio editions - swearing heard in one song. Negative- office door open not very professional Toilet cubical didn't have a toilet roll holder they used a roll holder Table didn't have drinks menu Design of main eating area neat and tidy. Food- 2/5 barramundi - tasted nice but was burnt on one side. Lasagne pasta sheets some were hard Seafood linguine - seafood pain no flavor , sauce was nice, too much pasta for seafood ratio. Water was not offered and waitress did not explain about self serve water station. When I paid I was not asked how my meal was and no 'Thank you' or 'please came again'. Doubt we will came back unless reviews pick up.
