Clean Slate Cafe - Katoomba - Photo album

I had the buttermilk pancakes with berry compôte and they were DELICIOUS! So so tasty! And prettily plated! My friend had the Spanish eggs and except for her not being able to handle the chorizo’s level of spice, she said that too was very good :) I’d come again for sure!
As mentioned by previous reviews the initial welcoming was slow but the foood and coffee came out fast. The food is good when it comes and the coffee is decent. Would return.
I came here with a group of 6, there was no table that was big enough for us and we weren’t allowed to put tables together inside. It’s 4 degrees outside. Went for Saturday lunch. Smoked salmon rosti came with hair on one poached egg. Pointed it out as it hit the table and it was taken away. First time here, thrilled by service. Small and tidy, well organised restaurant that function well on public holidays foot traffic. Food is good and prices normal for the location
Seems that staff are not happy in Katoomba. Went there on Wednesday morning and it was as if, oh another customer. Lets just say in a tourist town you would think they would be a bit more friendly. Food was ok.
Amazing brekkie place! Mouth watering bacon, great coffee and friendly service. Will definitely be back for more.
