Review Little Sister - Keilor East

My wife and I had a great breakfast here. The food was well made and filling, the establishment offers a variety of choices covering most people's preferences. The coffee was remarkably good here and was accompanied by such lovely service from the staff. Some of the ingredients such as the mushrooms you could tell were not fresh but it was quick, affordable and delicious all the same.

Lunched here and it was delicious. Chicken Parma was very tasty. Husband have it the big thumbs up. Salad in the Parma was different (more than just a garden salad) had goats cheese and added great flavours. Crispy Mexican burger was the best I have had in a while. Nice fat cut chips also. Great service/friendly staff.

Friendly place with fabulous food. Have ordered Eggs benedict with hot smoked salmon and Little sister big breakfast. It was a very satisfying meal.

Very cozy cafe. Our food was delicious. Staff very friendly.

Great food. Absolutely loved it. Had ordered the Little Sister Big Breakfast with scrambled eggs along with Mexican Crispy Chicken Burger and Egg and Bacon Panini. Had a Muffin as a side as well. All the items were delicious and properly cooked. Even though not too hungry initially, I ended up finishing every bit of my dish thanks to the amazing taste. The sourdough bread in my Big Breakfast dish was very well done as well. Crispy and perfectly baked. My friends who ordered the other dishes too were very happy with their dishes. If you haven't already, this place is a must try. The ambience for seating is very good too along with its location.

Went to this cafe with a bunch of friends today. Everything about this place is AWESOME….the food is super yummy, staff very very friendly, seating very neat and tidy. We sat in the outside area and just loved the feel of it. It’s now one of my favourite places to chill and have a good time, would highly recommend it😊

My partner enjoyed a very hearty big breakfast. I thoroughly enjoyed my eggs bennie with hot smoked salmon. Coffee was good. Service a bit slow, back room is quite noisy. We'll be back to check out other goodies on the menu.

The best way to start the morning is with a cup of coffee made from high quality boutique coffee beans. Our caffeine batch is from 'where's marcel'. The roast is Culture blend and is one of the strongest flavour (mild roast). Wouldn't be right to skip coffee. Baked eggs is one of my favourite choice for brunch and of course my mind is set on ordering just that. Don't let the delicate edible flowers fooled you, the baked eggs here is just to die for. The butter and toasts on the side are just a perfect combo to the whole dish. Frankly, I was quite blown away with the flavours and I love the fact that my eggs are still moist and runny inside. Big YAY! ... Read full post on twopaperpen Facebook page or website.

Just had one of the best breakfast in a long time. The crab cake eggs benedict was amazing. Plus service with a smile which made our Sunday. Thank you Little Sister and thanks to my partner for taking me here.

Thanks to the team who looked after us, especially Faye. Everyone really enjoyed their meals, and it is great to be able to order off either a breakfast or lunch menu. Food was delicious and fantastic service. The outdoor area was great for our large group.

Amazing food and service all the staff are friendly and courteous I think yesterday when I have my meal the owners were in very friendly ppl .

I Googled a nice Cafe to try Breakfast as I was heading to Taylor’s Lake via the Ring Rd. Little Sisters Cafe had a great Reviews, my husband and I were very impressed. Great Service, excellent welcome and fantastic food 🌻👏🏼

Asked for a ham and cheese croissant and received a burnt ham, cheese and tomato croissant. When l pointed it out to staff it was sent back to the kitchen only to be returned with the burnt bits scrapped off. Kitchen staff then continued to stare at us making my friends very uneasy. l complained when leaving and was offered a coffee card. Not much good when after being a frequent customer l will now take my business elsewhere.

We travelled down from Queensland to catch up with a friend while on our holiday, and all the staff were so friendly and polite, service was amazing and the coffee was perfect, and the big brekky was great, loved it guys good work 10/10 would recommend!

Great friendly new owner and the food is always consistent and delicious. The girls are friendly and look after us, now knowing part of our order, only have to decide on our food. Within walking distance to where we live, so it is very convenient. Merry Christmas guys xxxx

Definitely go back again. Not only was the food great but very pleasant staff

I used to go here all the time .. was hard to get a seat... I walked in and the place was empty. I know why. I ordered the Bircher And it tasted of garlic. Didn’t eat it. No one asked why .. finally the young waitress asked if it was ok .. I told her that it was not ok and why politely.. she still billed me the full price and I can only assume that the manager or owner who was making coffee heard the exchange and did nothing. I paid and left. How I know why it’s empty.

Weekend breakfast. Surprisingly quiet when we arrived but gradually became busier throughout the morning.
Staff were cruisy and happy. Coffees were decent strength. Menu was a bit different to the standard Melbourne brunch offerings. Good to see some deviation from the norm. Seattle Salad was perfect.

MY FAVOURITE BREAKFAST IN MELBOURNE!!! Great service, friendly staff. I Love that I'm always greeted by a warm welcome at this place. Great Ambiance, the cafe is full everytime we visit. I always order the Zucchini and Haloumi fritters with scrambled eggs.... YUM YUM YUM!!! The hubby always orders the big breakfast. The coffee is great, juices are so fresh and delicious! Colouring in activities for the kids is an absolute win! Absolutely love this place!
Jamie Tupaea
Great food, service and ambience great portion sizes also... the French toast pulled pork, haloumi and corn fritters and the lamb shoulder chilli con carne were yummo!! If we could’ve fit it the ricotta cakes we would’ve ordered and sharer it!! Next time for sure!

Sat down and pretty much forgotten about. Staff inattentive and served the 20 people that came in for take away coffee before making the customers who were sitting down. coffe was average at best. food was also average.
Tu Nguyen
Very busy on weekends, the place was quite crowded. The waitress informed us there would be a 45 min wait on our food because there was a large group of 20 people out the back. The coffee here is smooth and delicious. Food was very solid, we ordered too much food for what we could eat so probably wouldn’t make the same mistake twice. Lovely place for brunch.
Crissan.d
Had brunch at this cafe on ANZAC day; nice quaint little place. Service was decent; we were very impressed with the quality and size of the food. We were going to One by One cafe around the same area but we would much prefer this place. The coffee was little burnt and tasteless, so that's our only complaint but otherwise it was a very good experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, and in comparison to other cafes, the pricing is affordable.
HeraldSun Reviews
Absolutely atrocious choice for a breakfast outing. The eggs on toast were putrid, not sure how one could not master such a simple dish. The staff were rude - what seemed to be the manager or owner was ordering and talking down on young innocent waitresses. Absolute filth of a human being, she has no idea how to run a business or talk to staff. Ruined the experience and a disgusting experience. Do not recommend, this place needs to be shut down.
Kathleen
The staff here were very friendly upon entry and the place has a lovely atmosphere. The food portions are quite large and well worth the price.
Louise
Little sister is a little treasure, providing BIG flavour and BIG servings. I ordered the ricotta hot cakes with caramelised banana, blueberry compote, vanilla mascarpone and seasonal fruit.

The ricotta hot cakes had a golden exterior and were soft and fluffy as clouds. I couldn’t get enough of the caramelised banana as it tasted like caramel and counteracted the tartness from the blueberry compote.

I also loved the creamy vanilla mascarpone so much so that I would have loved more of it!

The owner of this establishment should be recognised for an award. Our loved one is in a nursing home, due to a diagnosis of dementia. Locally, it is hard to find a quiet and homely place to take them, where they won't be overstimulated or further confused by loud music and busy surroundings. The owner was so accomadating and adapted our lunch experience to cater for our loved one's needs, without us even asking. A surprise indeed! He treated our loved one with such humility, dignity and respect, it really touched our hearts. . . . Then our food arrived and we were even more blown away! The ingredients were so fresh and flavoursome, good portions, great price. We will definitely be going back! Thank you kindly for your hospitality : )

Great food and drinks.
However missing points for the fact that the young lady staff address everyone as darl and darling even being at least a good 20 years younger than their customers. Unprofessional and so annoying. Friends also commented on this about this place . Puts us off coming here .
Don Djoe
Probably the best place for brunch place in Keilor East. The foor came out rather slow but hey I am not really bothered. The food here tasted fresh and the salmon bowl was actually very filling. The grilled chicken dish was very colourful and the chicken tasted nice. It's a pity that it didn't come out with more chicken. The tea and coffee were nice too. The coffee looked meh but tasted better than most cafes.
Anna Lee
Terrible coffee early Saturday morning and the girl on the coffee machine was extremely rude giving me strange looks and greasing me off. Not a very friendly welcoming here.
The quality and attention to detail in food preparation and presentation of Little Sister is truly excellent.
Coffees are always spot on as is the service.Dishes are on the generous side and the menu is thoughtful and fairly simple with lots of variations and options available.

The most delicious place I’ve ever eaten! Wow! Just check out these photos they taste as good as they look and the service is amazing! Oh! The coffee is good too 👌

Large portions to fill your belly with great tasting food. Very relaxing environment with really happy friendly staff. Will be returning soon no doubt.

The food is absolutely amazing, workers are so nice and welcoming! Every time I come here they never disappoint! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice and cosy local cafe!
Sarah Wassouf
The food was super filling, fairly priced and the little court yard in the back was so cosy during Melbourne winter!
The coffee was also a winner!! Highly recommend if you’re after a hearty breaky or lunch that’ll leave you feeling satisfied this is the place to go

We were after a good coffee and a nice, basic breakfast after and international flight.
This was a busy little cafe and the coffee was nice, as was the breakfast.
I had scrambled eggs and bacon on sourdough toast and my girlfriend had the eggs Benedict.
No hesitation in recommending this place.

I am a local and I come in a couple times a week to get coffee. Lovely little restaurant, staff are so friendly and engaging, also delicious brunch. Great little cafe full of wonderful people, coffee & food!
Jordan McMillan
Tried this cafe as it was recommended from my partners friends and it did not disappoint, we were greeted by friendly staff who brought water to our table immediately upon taking a seat and took our coffee order right away, the menu was easy to read and had something for everyone. I had the Jim Dandy Hot plate with bacon ($3 extra) and it was everything I could have expected. Delicious little brunch! Eggs were poached perfectly bacon was cooked magnificently, truffle mushrooms hit the mark, baby spinach, potato croquette, grilled halloumi, and toast was also delicious. A must buy, and when we return I’ll be buying the same thing!! A winner right off the top. 2 meals and 2 coffees less than $50
Plant Based Mum
A cosy little cafe in Keilor East. There are some vegetarian options on the menu and the coffee is quite nice. There isn't too much room for large prams though, so you may wish to grab a coffee to go.
Roz
Good service, staff friendly. Best coffee in the Centreway shopping strip. Sampled savoury and sweet options all good. Maybe some more vegetarian options

My partner and I were looking for a new place to visit for breakfast and thought we’d give Little Sister a shot we had heard of a few cafes serving a good brunch in the East Keilor area, after reading some decent reviews we decided to come here.

Upon entering the interior and surroundings were nice and we were seated with menus and water immediately, options on the menu looked good, we ordered some lattes, the Jim Dandy Hot Plate (big breakfast) with bacon extra $3 and Eggs & Bacon.

We received our coffees which we thought were okay though a little on the milky side probably a 6/10.
Then not long after both meals arrived on first glance we thought wow pretty generous on the sides and the meals looked good, though once we started eating we realised that both sides of bacon were extremely under cooked and super oily (dripping oil), we feel and love when bacon is served crispy or at least cooked fully especially when accompanied soft poached eggs and this bacon just lacked, I had to use napkins to dab the excess oil and we could barely eat any of it, it was extremely chewy.

The mushrooms, spinach, haloumi and potato croquettes were also on the oily side and lacked in seasoning actually had no seasoning what so ever.

For a dish that cost over $20 it just didn’t suffice.

I think if you’re a local it would be a good place to get a coffee though I probably wouldn’t return here for a meal.
Graham Scown
Attended this cafe this morning for breakfast and found it a nice cozy atmosphere I was seated straight away and water and a newspaper were bought over to my table the walls had a local schools year 11 artwork hanging on display I ordered the Jim dandy breakfast with bacon and a pork sausage as a side extra the food was delicious except for the hash brown croquet which was full of oil also I think without the side extras the portions would have been a bit small for the money afterwards I got a large capuchino that was a very strong brew that I enjoyed all in all I will keep on searching for the best value breakfast at the best cafe I would return to this place
Mintee
A nice little cafe that's local which is great.

Avoid sitting in the back area, everything kinda echos off the walls and gets really loud so it becomes a screaming contest. I wish portions were a little bigger for the price you're paying for lunch meals.

Food and service no issues
Trencherman
Great little cafe. Only had time for a quick bite but menu looks very nice. Friendly service. Quinoa porridge was very tempting...next time ....

Cute little place, service was good and food was tasty. Tried the prawn dish, yum. Coffee hit the spot. Would come again as its kid friendly also.

Coffee was a strong 👍🏼. Little Sister has earned a spot on the regular ☕️🛑 list. Didn't try any food. The tabling layout is neat and spacious, and the inside is bright and comfortable.

Fantastic little cafe with the most delicious food! Very family friendly and accomodating. Great burgers and coffee. Would definitely come here again!
George David Michaelides
Nice cosy little cafe in centreway, ordered the eggs benedict, while the coffee was great this wasn't the best to be honest, the house hollandaise was lacking flavour, and the thick cut ham didn't suit the dish. A potato rosti was the base ( more oil ) this unbalanced the whole meal all it needed was a piece of dry toast to soak everything up.
Chocolate.Factory
Lovely cafe for a spot of breakfast or lunch or even just coffee. Everything is presented beautifully & tastes great. Little Sister caters for a wide variety of dietary requirements, which in this day & age is the expected norm I suppose. What isn't the norm here is that their pastries & cakes are under glass.....not all out in the open on the front counter for people to cough, sneeze & brush their sleeve with. Yay! So refreshing to see!

I love this place! They do amazing coffee! I think the 4.5 score is literally all for their coffee! The Jim Dandy's big breakfast is delicious too though. They have a nice back courtyard type area which is quite nice to sit in as inside can get a little squishy. Reasonably priced and service is good!
FOOD TRIP
Little sister café is a hidden gem of a café, located in the quiet suburb of Keilor East. Their coffees are beautiful as well as delicious and food is great too. Would recommend adding to any brunch to-do list. Beautiful latte art! Coffee was deliciously creamy and no sugar was needed. 8/10

If ever I'm in the area for work I try and drop past little sister cafe // love their benedict! I think I preferred when the ham was thinly sliced but still yummy none the less. Great coffee! Worth a visit.

This little gem is a 5 minute stroll from my partner's house. We come here when we don't want to try out new places and risk being disappointed as the food here is always satiating. I love that the specials change frequently. If you want value for money, little sister will not disappoint as serving sizes are generous but not excessive.

Little Sister in Keilor East is from the same team who brought Flourmill in Brunswick, Dear Abbey in Moonee Ponds, Hey Jude in Essendon and The Aquarium in Northcote to life. Outdoor seating is available and it is entirely undercover, with a giant mural marking their cafe conquests. This is one of those cafes I’d truly call a hidden gem, serving up modern brunch dishes in a quiet suburb, close to my side of town.

Really enjoyed our experience here. Coffee was great. Food was even better.

Lots of variety on the menu to please most people. Staff were lovely and very welcoming.

Well worth the visit.

Great atmosphere and service they have a nice outdoor area too out the back. The food is varied and quite nice. I had the pasta which was cooked perfectly. I will come back :)
Coffeelover
Porridge thumbs up.
Coffee quality is up and down here but always presented with an effort for latte art. All black coffees come with soda water . Ive had some great short blacks sweet and ripe tasting but also some not so good ones and some very bitter over extracted too
FoodingAroundMelbourne
Great atmosphere and good range of dishes in this small cafe. Nice place for breakfast or lunch. Ample parking available outside also. Cute little courtyard for when the weather heads up.
Vegemite Girl
Friendly and welcoming. Coffee and chai lattes were tasty and hot. Porridge was as pretty as a picture and hot until the last bite. Cheese, tomato and ham toasted sandwich was generously filled and hit the spot. The salmon panini with spinach, red onion and capers was okay but lacked the peppery punch of rocket and the salty goodness of gherkins. Side note, ban the mason and bring back the stainless steel. Milk is a dollar a litre- milkshakes in mason jars are kitsch and just look stingy.

Visited again.
Chai lattes are nice but are not big enough. Scrambled eggs and avocado was tasty and looked good. Chicken pesto focaccia was tasty. Initial salmon focaccia was on stale bread. However, staff gave me a new one extra toasted and did not charge. Needs soft furnishings for noise. Will return.

Thankgod for the recommendation from Feed Your Fancy user! I was about to give up on trying to find a local coffee house however checked Little Sister out today and it was worth the short drive. Will definitely re visit.

Love, love, love this place!! My favourite local "to go to" place. Great coffee & amazing food especially the breakie menu - delicious!! Canters for the kids which is extremely important to me & enjoy sitting in the open back area in the warmer weather.

When I think of the Centreway in East Keilor one thing comes to mind – JB Hi Fi. As the birthplace of JB, hoards of people used to visit the Centreway to get their music and entertainment fix. But then one day, the now large and successful retail group decided to close down their flagship store. That was a sad day for the Centreway and marked the beginning of a down turn for many businesses in the centre as the main attraction to the shopping strip was gone. I have to admit, it’s been years since I had a reason to visit which is sad given I only live 10 minutes away, however this week I found a reason and it came in the way of Little Sister Café.

Love love love this little cafe. Staff are so lovely and the coffee is great. Good for brunch and lunch and plenty of parking near by. They also do take away for lunch of you can't dine in.

Got the porridge which was amazing! Quinoa, poached pear and pistachio crumble. Added a side of honey to sweeten it up. The porridge itself was beautiful. The coffee was excellent. Fantastic local cafe, but to no surprise as their other cafe Hey Jude on Keilor Road is another winner!
Foodie Guy
Its a nice place to eat. Good customer service. The only thing I could pick was the price per food and the food itself. The chips were great, the burger was ok, Grilld or New York Minute still does a better job however, If I had to compare I think Pacinos Italian Resto, the price and size of the meal was more reasonable in comparison bigger as well. The pasta was ok too not the best as well, but for them each is $20 is pretty steep $13-15 would be more reasonable for the meal we ate.
Came here for monday lunch for one of the girl's birthdays, had Guinness Beef Cheek Ragu special and it melted in mouth. Perfect sizing meal

Little sister is such a breath of fresh air within the cafe realm. The staff are all so jovial, welcoming and enthusiastic every time I visit. I'm always so pleased with the food and the diverse menu/specials they offer and update regularly. The courtyard option is lovely on a sunny day, with a nice modern Melbourne touch of a mural wall. All round one of my favourite cafe's to go to.
The City Lane
Little Sister is a popular cafe from the people behind Essendon’s Hey Jude and Brunswick’s Flourmill. The proposition here is simple – an all day breakfast and lunch menu focusing on Melbourne favourites.

Firstly came by for a few take away coffees, was super happy to see the Almond Milk Barista Blend being used, almost guarantees a great coffee unless the coffee beans used are bad! Coffee was great, always ordered extra extra hot, still slightly warm which was the only fault.
Finally had time to make a stop to share some breaky, got the Jim Dandy Hot plate with a side of Avo, Spinach and extra truss tomatoes. Everything was perfect avo was justifiable costing $3.50 rather then $5 from some cafes!
All in all really good and surrounding tables looked great also. Kids were there and treated great which is nice to see, will defiantly be back soon!
Also would be great to see fresh Vegetable and fruit juices on there not just a refined selection, apart from that perfect spot and decor is great also!

I came here with my mum for breakfast. As we walked into the cafe, we were greeted by nobody. Staff were avoiding eye contact until a few minutes later, a staff greeted us unwillingly. The food was ordinary - ordered a quinoa porridge and a Seattle salad. The coffee was ordinary but served with inappropriate cup..... Food came and the staff just dumped a bucket of cutleries in our table and walked off. Very unpleasant experience for a Friday morning.

An invitation to try lunch at Little Sister tempted us to get on our bikes for the ride up the Maribyrnong to Keilor East, where the stylish cafe sits in a quiet square. The interior featured brightly patterned wall paper, with plenty of retro styled tables and a covered outdoor area out the back. There were lots of interesting items on the menu both on the all day breakfast and lunch lists as well as a few specials.

Great little place with great food and coffee. Awesome atmosphere. Friendly staff and service, would definately would go back, especially for brunch 😃

An absolute gem in the middle of Keilor East, my primary coffee and breakfast destination. Staff and atmosphere are amazing friendly, inviting and that sense of personalisation you get from each staff member is an extra little detail. Coffee is great, and the few breakfast I have had there have been pretty good. But the food that always always makes be giddy inside is their triple chocolate brownies, an amazing brownie that has want you want in a brownie LOTS OF CHOCOLATE. Overall it is a quaint cafe that makes a bold statement in the within the Keilor East/Airport West region that is backed up by wonderful service and food, expressed by the constant busyness whenever I arrive
Our Foodie Finds
Next on the hit list to HOLROUT™ at for breakfast is this East Keilor café, Little Sister. Had an early start for a Saturday morning and needed a good fix of coffee and a delicious breakfast. Located within a square of retailers and food shops, Little Sister sits tucked away in the back corner just out of the hustle of the weekend revellers.

Parking in the square is probably not the best if your planning to have a meal as they run in 30min blocks however if you're in for a quick coffee or you eat really fast I suppose it'll do. Find parking just around the side street within the residential area which gives you a solid 2 hours.

The cafés feel is like walking into your quirky friends home who is into kitsch stuff. Homely, friendly, warm but weird. Not in a bad way, just slightly odd. Staff are a youngish team who are very tentative, are eager to please and make sure your taken care of. Wouldn't say they match the kitsch-ness of the place but they definitely match the vibe.

The crowd is varied from tradies to young families, to eccentric hippy looking older couples who pash before having their coffee (yes this happened). A good miss mash of the locals and surrounding suburbs.

We ordered the Ricotta hot cakes with grilled banana, pistachio, mint strawberry salsa & maple butter sauce. I think these were the most expensive hot cakes we've ever had at $16.9 however it was delicious as well as being visually pleasing. Also added on the Jim Dandy Hot Plate which had poached eggs with house made beans, thyme mushrooms, slow-roasted truss tomato, potato rosti, & grilled halloumi on artisan bread. A home made big breakfast for $18.9, oh and some added bacon for $3.0. Worth it? Other than the Halloumi which was amazing and wouldnt have minded if we were just served that alone, I don't think so. But we didn't mind as the Halloumi was delicious!

A strong latte and cappuccino to compliment our meal went quite nicely. A great coffee bean blend by boutique coffee roaster 'Where's Marcel'.

Overall, the experience was nice and glad we visited. If we ever venture around and about East Keilor again, we might just visit again for round 2.

Dropped in here on our way out west. And was pleasantly surprised. The coffee was great and meals very tasty. I had the chicken salad and it was very good and fresh. The outside courtyard was perfect. We were able to chat easily and enjoy the venue

Service was good but we came on a quiet Sunday. Decent menu, food was pretty good, had the usual cafe atmosphere and yummy coffee. Would definitely come back.
Thrice As Nice
Little Sister was a lovely surprise. Turning off the main road you are greeted my a park with local shops surrounding. It has nice fit outs compared to surrounding shops (surrounding shops look typical suburban) Little sister could easily gel into Yarraville cafes.

The premises is located on corner block with a outdoor seating area out back that is spacious and comfortable. Staff were friendly and approachable.

We ordered the Wagu beef burger that came with fries and a mayonnaise dipping sauce, Hanoi King prawns and calamari served with rice and
Ricotta hot cakes with grilled banana, pistachio, mint strawberry salsa & maple butter sauce.

All meals were delish but the stand out was the hot cakes. It's a grown up and modern version of the kiddy hot cakes we use to all eat. The flavors of the pistachio with the syrup and mint was devine. This dish alone could easily be served in a 5 star restaurant. To find this in the burbs is a testament to the Chef behind Little Sister.

The Wagu beef burger was yum. Cudos to the beetroot mashed paste within this burger, as I am usually not a fan of betroot. It was oozing with the deliciousness of melted cheese. Mayonnaise dipping sauce is nice however would of been better with the choice of two dipping sauce eg: tomato sauce with the mayo.

The Hanoi prawns and calamari served with rice was devoured by my lovely husband, whom usually is picky as (arn't they all!) only criticism is the serving side is tad small.

For drinks we ordered latte and hot chocolate. Both were nice and creamy. We were also served with water as standard, my only criticism was the glasses looked foggy....time for new glasses to be ordered or a quick polish and shine would not hurt.

Will definitely be back, as this is one place in the west that makes us proud to be supporting local small businesses.

The little gem in the middle of East Keilor, great set up, a very Brunswick inspired cafe, coffee is great for the area beats any coffee you would get on Keilor road! The meals looked great, menu was quite basic, but no more basic than the other venues in a 5k radius, and let's face it if you get simple right it can be fantastic! Can't wait to come back for brunch 😀
Ann
Coffee consistently excellent. Staff helpful, professional and friendly. Nice relaxing atmosphere. Food whilst a little limited in variety is always good. Our regular go to cafe. Never lets us down

It was a first for me visiting this cafe- I loved it! We were a group of 10 & all meals/coffees were served at the same time...Staff were very friendly, coffee was great & food was so fresh & tasty. Can't wait to go back!!
George
Nice breakfast, good coffee and a funky feel to the place. My wife got the pulled pork burger which was great and I got a full breakfast- eggs, bacon, hash brown. I had to add all those to my meal as they didn't have an option for all those. It was really nice, I'll probably be back soon.

Very good coffee and great breakfast. Smoothies are good too. The usual ladies work there and always give us service with a smile. Busy on weekends but worth it

Don't bother going if you have a pram!!! After 2 consecutive weeks of meeting here with my mothers group friends we were asked not to return if we were a group of 10 with our prams. Extremely disappointing considering we are all locals. And no we didn't sit there and drink water for hours!

Arrived her about 2 on Sunday. We were served straight away. They were great at trying to accommodate us all being we wre a group of 10. Ordered the pulled pork burger. Was very tasty and very satisfying. Pork a little bit too sweet but still good. Had a taste of my friends chicken salad and that was good to. No complaints from anyone!! Happy customers. Thanks guys

Went there last week for a coffee with the kids after school. It was 4 and as we walked in I was told that they close at 4.30 and I would need to have it in a takeaway cup. Won't be going back

Excellent coffee, hot chocolates, breakfast, lunch, muffins and pastries etc. Service is fantastic and staff even get to know your name and your daily order.

To be honest, I have been there just once. Saturday morning I just popped in. Coffee was great, ok customer service and average breakfast. At the end I enjoyed guys.

Found out about the Little Sister cafe during a walk around Centreway a couple of weeks ago and thought we'd check it out for brunch over the long weekend. Our visit did not disappoint - cute cafe layout, fantastic service and yummy meals for a great price.

Our table ordered the cranberry and fig muesli and eggs benedict. Both meals were splendid and was worth the price. The eggs benedict came with potato croquettes instead of your usual toast as a side which tasted fantastic! The muesli was nice but the muesli-yoghurt ratio was slacking a little.

Overall a lovely brunch and will be visiting again to try the ricotta hotcakes!

Rude barista. Went to this cafe to order a takeaway coffee this morning cafe was busy and I had been waiting a while, asked how long my coffee would be and barista told me I have 15 dockets so.. I said I need to cancel my order then and he said what do people except so rude will never go back

Coffee is very good. The pulled pork burger was amazing. Staff are very attentive & friendly. A welcome addition to the area & fast becoming many locals "regular".

Dog friendly.. Took my puppy and mum to lunch mid week and we were impressed. The food was modern, fresh and full of flavour. Coffee came to us in cute cups. Very well presented café with great food and the staff were all on the ball.

Just had a fabulous Mother's Day brunch at this lovely cafe!
The staff were very friendly and helpful and service was excellent even though it was busy.
All our meals were DEELISH- generous servings and reasonable prices. My mum and I were looking at the dessert cabinet trying to decide when one staff member recommended the freshly baked blueberry cheesecake- so light and yummy!
Coffee was excellent and our long blacks were served with a shot glass of soda water as a palate cleanser which was a nice touch.
A much needed breath of fresh air to the Keilor area!

Excellent!. We've been here a few times now and we are never disappointed. This place is a success because everyone takes great pride in what they do. The baristas are top notch and make teriffic coffees. The meals coming from the kitchen use quality, fresh ingredients in innovative recipes. Combined with friendly service makes Little Sister truely excellent! My only minor criticisms are the food is a little pricey and maybe ditch the prepackaged butter portions. Otherwise keep up the good work and people from near and far will keep coming back

Not good at all. Couldn't wait to get out of there. Service was terrible. The food was below average. Not going back that's for sure

A welcome addition to the area. At last - a decent cafe in Keilor East! So happy the Hey Jude peeps expanded. Reliable food and service with adventurous specials.

Perfect Allrounder. I will go past 30 plus cafes from Flemington to come here, Why? good service, fast and generous portions of food! Coffee excellent, consistent and they offer great choices for Single Origins, good to see they serve a shot of sparkling water with there black and mach coffees.

Great coffee. Food is good and is always served really fast! Which is great when you have 2 kids!

Coffee reasonable. Decent coffee and great shop fitout but all the dishes seem priced fairly high for an area like Centreway.

Love It. About time we get a trendy cafe in EK. This is my local and when I cant be bothered traveling into the inner city, I come here. Staff take the time to get to know you and my coffee is ready for me without having to order it. Food is fantastic and coffee is great. Good comfortable, honest cafe. Keep it up!

The coffee was fantastic, had a chat to the barrista who knew exactly how to make a coffee. Was happy with the food also, I had the Benedict which comes with a hash brown patty (great touch) and tasted very nice. Also tried the donky kong shake which was brilliant. Happy with the service and will be back again!

Went in for lunch over the weekend. The man (seemed to be the manager/owner from what I could gather) who served me was quite rude which ruined the experience. Food was alright but probably wouldn't go back

Good for breakfast. A great little place for an affordable breakfast/brunch, good service, friendly staff, delicious food!

Something new. I like how there is now an up market type cafe in centerway now, we need more like this. So in terms of the coffee and food I'm not a coffee drinker and I liked it. French Toast was nice but guys there was not enough! If your going to charge people $16 plus for French Toast make sure there is more than I peice of bread on the plate seriously. left feeling ripped off a little and news travels fast. Looking up market doesn't mean rip the customers off.
