Review Centreway Kebabs - Keilor East

HOLY MOLY this place delivers on it's reviews. Ordered a HSP Pizza box and it did not disappoint. The chips were crispy and tasty. The meat so flavoursome. If you and your mates are up for a food challenge this is it. Glad I don't live nearby, or otherwise I'd be rolling my way in (literally). Banter is chaos vibes so if you're not into it - do a phone order. I recommend taking on this beast.

Best chicken doner kebab ever - swoon-worthy!💖💜 The lady who served us is delightful too, and there are beautiful juices in the fridge I hadn't seen before. The mulberry drink and the Riviera Pomegranate Blueberry are delicious!

Came here in 2018. Best kebab place I went to. Came back tonight, and was really disheartened. The staff were really nice, which gives this review a 3 star, but I was saddened that my kebab didn’t have cheese (as per my add-ons) and it had salad (as per my removals), and they had run out of all meat except chicken. Regardless, this one experience doesn’t make the shop. As the overwhelming majority rates it 4.6, I would assume I just had an unlucky night.

Actually really good tasty kebabs. Only thing is that the Turkish bread tears apart easily. As a FYI this place only accepts cash so be warned that no EFTPOS accepted. Staff member was friendly.

Bang for buck! Massive serving. Great lunch if in the area and need something substantial. Food: Good Service: Great Location: Good area to get a bite. Could even eat outside at the large square park area. Value: Good.

Terrible service when under pressure. Waited almost 1 hour and they got the order wrong. The way the lady spoke to the young fella working there was boarding on abuse. And to top it off when I spoke up about my order I was abused as well and told to not come back. Needless to say I’m NEVER going there again. The HSP is overrated as well

Standardised kabab shop with a few chairs and tables inside. They only except Cash but luckily, there's a Bendigo or Com bank ATM close by. If you don't feel like eating inside, there's a park with plenty of tables and chair's just opposite to the shop. ● Large Lamb Kabab - 3/5 Nothing special about this kebab, pretty standard in my opinion. ● Large mixed meat HSP - 5/5 The HSP here is amazing. The quantity is mammoth! The meat and chicken was nice and juicy, the amount of sauce was nothing short of plentiful. The chip's were freshly cooked, seasond and crunchy. I'd definitely come back here for the HSP.

Have been trying to find a good kebab shop that actually makes proper kebabs with Turkish bread and finally have! This place is amazing!! It is also huge and great price. Also the HSP is amazing! Hubby couldn't choose between eating his kebab or HSP as they were too good. Will definitely be our go to kebab shop from now on. Great work :)

Great hsp! Definitely the best I've ever had. Meat was fresh and melted in your mouth. Had the right balance of sauces, chips were still very crisp and cheese was perfect. Really was well worth the 1 hour drive for this one �

Easily the best HSP iv'e ever had was from Centreway, Freddy and his family were so nice and greeted us as soon as we walked through the door with smiles on their faces. We'll definitely be back for another meal and we're constantly spreading the word about how damn good this place is. Highly recommended!

Been planning to come here for a kebab and HSP for ages. Didn't get a HSP this time. But I did try their kebab. They were nice enough to let me use my own big Mac sauce on it too which was a great choice. Cause the kebabs were great. Full of flavour and the meat was tender. Staff were great and very welcoming. Will be back for sure.

This really is a 10/10 :) definitely the best HSP I've had anywhere, the meat in particular is tender and tasty, and the customer service is personal and impressive. Was worth the trip out!

We made a special visit here all the way from Sydney. My very fussy and well-traveled, connoisseur of HSPs son LOVED the food (rated it the best he had ever had) and enjoyed the great welcome from Freddy and his Aunt Suzie. Well worth the pilgrimage.

Amazing HSP! Even the vegetarian one with falafel that my friend got was fantastic! Great quality food, great value for money! Three of us couldn't finish one large snack pack for $16! Four ladies fed for $28, that isn't bad at all! Absolutely lived up to the reputation, thank you :)

Best HSPs in Melbourne. Perfect crunchy chips, tasty mixed meat and generous portions. Ready within 10mins; or 15 on a busy night. Friendly, efficient service.

The chicken and lamb meat was awesome, hot and flavoursome. The Turkish bread was fresh and the way it should be, one big bread. The hommus dip l found to have way to much what tasted like flour. Nice on its own but having hommus with bread l found the taste of flour apparent. <br/> Overall this is and always has been a fairly good Turkish serve.

Beautiful food just maybe a little bit too much for a large. Great quality and adds extra toppings if you request. Really enjoyed my meal would go again

Still my favourite kebab. Bread is made fresh and not store bought like other places, sauces all fresh, and meat is so tender and served so generously. I usually go with a friend because the size is so big. Very good value, and still the best quality kebab I've had in Melbourne. Give it a shot.

Got there at 6:51pm and got my hsp at 7:53pm to be exact. Definitely not pleased about the waiting time however I can understand that it's peak and what not. Just disappointed as this was my first experience and i should have called in prior to place an order.<br/>Obviously after waiting and then eating the hsp itself was pretty average. <br/>I do love how they overload their hsp with sauce which I can appreciate. Centreway is pretty hyped up on Facebook so maybe one day I'll come back to try again.

Huge servings, consistently good HSPs and really friendly staff.<br/><br/>Call up and order ahead because they get busy, and the wait can be long. As of the time of this post they only accept cash.

Not even exaggerating. Second time I've been to this place and both times left with no hsp. Said their would be an hour wait just for hsp. Place wasn't even busy, had maybe 5-6 people in the shop. But the wait for hsp was a f*cking hour!

Cannot agree more of what others reviewed.  There are no others better but only one compatible queen's kabeb, luckily they are far.  It would be much better if there are toilet and more tables, then i give them a 5<br/>Service 10<br/>Chips 10<br/>Sizing 10<br/>Garlic sauce 9, more garlic please!<br/>Everything else 10.<br/>My kids love this place, Fred is so interest in his customers and friendly, the girls are nice too  Cannot find better.

Ordered a small halal snack pack (HSP), but it ain't small at all. I can't imagine anyone ordering large. Meat was cut into thin slices, chips were freshly fried and crunchy. Believe me, you'll start drooling even by the smell. An awesome dish to try. A bit of a wait though but it's nothing compared to the friendly staff there.

I only come here for the HSP but my god it is amazing. I could be exergerrating but personally, it is great. The man who serves is the most chillest dude ever. Lovin' his vibe. The price is $12 for a small and $16 for a large. Their large is humongous. Could share it between 3 adults, and 4-5 teens. Small is pretty packed and can definitely fill you up for the day. Next time I should probably have a taste at their kebabs.

However one thing I noticed early on, a lot of people come and get a HSP from here as there was a heap of foot traffic going in!<br/><br/>So I followed suite and made my way in also, confronting myself with the owner, who was such a nice guy and very happy and chatty which made my HSP experience already off to a good start.<br/><br/>So I ordered and before you knew it my HSP was ready to be destroyed by yours truly.<br/><br/>Taking the first bite I already knew this was going to be a good one, why? really meaty, which is what I love! Cheesey as well but more meaty than anything! Amazing! HSP is one of the best, with tasty meat, (lots of) melty cheese, and crispy seasoned chips. We also bought a kebab which is definitely one of the best we've seen so far. Coming back here for future HSP/kebab cravings!

Had tried this place a few times and never been disappointed. Awesome kebabs and meals and now also the most loaded halal snack packs you have ever seen. <br/>There can be a bit of a wait for this place but it's well worth it, always delish and fresh and really friendly service. Not open too late either so unfortunately no midnight hsp :( but otherwise I can't really fault it.

Best kababs and HSP around. I personally go to the school right next to Centreway kababs and highly recommend it. Service is fast and friendly.

Had the chicken kebab for a quick lunch. Very nice Turkish bread, standard toppings, good garlic sauce and the chicken was flavourful. Friendly service and would eat there again.

This place is on par with the best kebab places around town. They bake the bread on site. They make their own dips and the servings are very generous. The fit out needs some work but who goes to a kebab shop for the decor.
