Review Al Capone`s Pizzeria - Keilor East

Local classic! We always love getting pizza from Al Capones. Very friendly staff, affordable, tasty thin crust pizza. They offer NY size which is great for a party (or if you haven’t eaten in a week!)

Amazing pizza everytime. The owner is so hilarious, love his energy and humour. Always leaving everyone laughing. The Nutella pizza I had was amazing. Just beautiful. Clean place, delicious food and good energy

Amazing pizza. I've gotten about 10 pizzas from here over the course of a couple of months, mainly meatlovers but I have had a few Hawaiians. Pizzas is always fresh and crispy, they're very generous with the toppings except the cheese, you should always ask for extra cheese. The guys that work here are also super nice and friendly and I've so far had nothing but positive experiences here. The prices are also extremely reasonable, most of the pizzas are the same price regardless of which one you choose (where as other pizza shops usually have a different price for each type of pizza) and unlike most places, when they say a pizza is a family size, they actually mean it. 1 family could actually feed a family (2 adults+2 kids) quite comfortably. Drinks are also super reasonable, a 2L bottle is only $3 where as most pizza shops would charge $5 or $6.

Value for money, fast service on a Tuesday night. Crunchy thin crust and fair amount of topping. Friendly proprietor. Will visit again for my next pizza craving.

Best tasting pizza in the area, price not over the top

Earlier then estimated delivery time, very friendly delivery man, great value for money pizza. Ordered a Hawaiian and it was delicious! Thin base, lots of toppings and very juicy. Will definitely be ordering again!

Ordered online for dinner. They had a meal option of three pizzas, garlic bread and drink for 30 odd dollars which was quite reasonable. Ordered the bbq chicken, vegetarian and tandoori chicken. The order arrived quite quickly. The bbq pizza was my favourite as the bbq taste and the pineapples were quite tasty together. The vegetarian was not too bad whilst I didn’t care much for the tandoori which had s strong taste that didn’t go well for pizza. There was ample amount of chicken in the pizzas but the vegetarian one lacked enough vegetables. The garlic bread too wasn’t that great as the garlic wasn’t spread on the whole bread instead it was concentrated only in the middle of the bread. Will be good to try out some other flavours and the pasta to form a more solid opinion.

Called to order home delivery from here for the 1st time and was told don't delivery to Aberfeldie as we have never heard of it before. We only deliver up to 9kms was told, do you know you have called Keilor East was asked? Explained Aberfeldie is just near Essendon. No we don't deliver there. Aberfeldie is 6.1 kms from Keilor East! Check your Google Maps guys ! All good, your competitor Stefanos just across the road delivered without question . Rubbish service.

Always good pizza, my favourite is the cheesy garlic, and friendly owners. Mum loves the avocado and chicken pasta. Always a hit for us, especially with delivery.

The owner is really friendly regardless how busy it is. Pizza's have not disappointed but garlic bread and pasta have been a hit and miss I've noticed it usually depends how busy they are. I've opened up a garlic bread which was still cold in the centre and pasta that have bland watery sauces.

My sister and I ordered dinner from here and it was really great! we found it on 'delivery hero' with a great deal, no delivery charge with only $15 order minimum, so we decided to try it. we ordered chips, garlic bread, and Nutella and strawberry pizza ( odd combo we know!). It took about 45 minutes to arrive, which was fine especially since we ordered at 5:45 so that meant it got there right on 6:30, perfect time for dinner. the garlic bread was god quality, very soft and flavoursome, the chips were really tasty and came in a generous amount, though needed a bit of salt but certainly not the end of the world, and the Nutella and strawberry pizza was rather nice, though the base was quite hard so I don't recommend if you have sensitive teeth or braces. overall it was really good and we will definitely be ordering from here again!

Great pizzas which are chunky as chunky get's. The toppings never stop and you have to dig towards the base LOL

Thank you very much guys, your pizza rocks.

Really friendly pizza joint in a busy little shopping centre, with surprisingly funky decor inside. Good pastas and reasonable prices. Great pizzas, with a menu featuring old favourites plus more unique/gourmet options (the Aussie is excellent if you're after a traditional pizza, while the Tandoori Chicken with Spanish onion, capsicum and mint yoghurt is great for something different).

Almost there. Hmmm overall I will say I like it, I have only had delivery. I like their generous toppings and I like their combinations however I am not a fan of their inconsistency. Also I think as a general rule the bases are undercooked, and a little too sweet and doughy. Also why has the half and half option been removed from menu log? Often a winner but sometimes a disappointment.

Great food - exceptional service!
I've ordered many times and a variety of items from their menu - pizza, pasta and dessert - Nutella and banana pizza - YUM!! My favourite! Service is great - never an issue and delivery is fantastic. Finally a great local pizza joint with quality food and generous toppings! Thank you team Al Capone Keilor East!

Bland tasteless pizza, sums it up

I have been ordering pizza from here since they opened. Value for money, good tasting pizza & friendly service. That was until lastnight when I decided to stop in on my way home.
I ordered half n half, it was $10.90, I gave the Indian guy on service $50 & then he denied I gave him that & refused to give me my change. In the end after awhile the owner gave me my correct change.
On arriving home I noticed that all but 2 slices were off from the pizza & it looked like someone had sat on them & it definitely wasn't BBQ chicken even though there was huge chicken chunks. After this rude service & low quality pizza, I will never return nor recommend this place again. I suggest the owner check the float at the end of the day & make sure he isn't having money stolen by this worker.

Oddly sweetened doughy-gum. Honestly one of the worst pizzas I've ever had. The base was like chewing gum, and had this weird 'sweetened' taste that turned my stomach. Ingredients were clearly not fresh with a brine kind of 'can' taste - and the pizza was ice cold within 15 minutes in a warm car.

We were starving and still couldn't finish it.

Garlic bread was okay.

Will certainly not return.
