Went here for breakfast, coffee was great & the food fantastic. Personally I like my bacon a little more crispy but apart from that Sweet Lulu delivered.
Friendly accommodating stuff very family friendly and a good menu. Will be back with the family for lunch again. Also great outdoor place for group catch ups
Impressed. Good food and coffee. Went for breakfast and really enjoyed it. Friendly staff and good seating options inside and out. Would recommend to friends.
Had previously been to Sweet Lulus for breakfast a while ago and to be honest, the food was nothing special. However, they must have stepped it up a gear recently.
I ordered the Green Bowl and was very impressed. Actually one of the best healthy 'green' breakfasts I have eaten in a long while. Broccoli, cauliflower, quinoa, soya beans, mint and pea puree, almonds and some really creamy yogurt. Yum! I would come back for this - well done. đ
E: Good variety of brunch? Check. Local travel? Check. Kind and friendly staff? Check.
My recent visit to Sweet Lulu's was indeed, sweet. A friend was kind enough to share with me one of her favourite local brunch restaurants, which she has raved about to me countless times over our many years of friendship, and it is easy to see why.
As soon as we entered the room, the aroma of coffee engulfed my senses and I was awoken and suddenly hungry. The business was booming with groups of friends and happy families. My friend pointed out to me that this was the case ALL the time. I was excited. As we all know the myth here, the more people at a restaurant directly correlates to the goodness it's about to serve, hey.
We were attended to quickly and offered the choice to sit inside or outside. It was a freezing morning and the staff so kindly made room for us to be seated quickly in such an already-busy atmosphere. We were provided with a jug of water and cups immediately in true brunch fashion.
Ordering the French Toast, Avocado Smash (adding salmon), a mocha and a green tea between us, we were eager for the food to arrive. If the photo's aren't enough, I can assure you everything was delicious delicious DELICIOUS as brunches usually are. The French Toast was dripping with syrup and the chef was generous enough to completely cover it with berries. This is definitely a huge recommendation for those who enjoy a sweet breakfast. If you're someone who (like myself) doesn't usually love pancakes, yet has a sweet tooth, this IS the dish for you. On the contrary, The avocado was generous in amount too and undoubtably fresh and ripe. The poached egg was cooked to perfection as expected of such a typical brunch meal. I will say, though, the cherry tomatos were a delightful addition to add a unique twist on a standard smashed-avo brunch.
I will mention, unfortunately my addition of salmon was initially forgotten when our plates arrived. However, a friendly reminder to the waitress and my salmon was given to me on a side plate within seconds. The freshness of the meat made the slight inconvenience worth it. SUPER fresh and delicious! Usually brunch places are a bit reserved with their portion sizes of salmon, however, whether it was due to the initial mixup or if this is their normal portion sizes, Sweet Lulu's was super generous.
I would also like to send a shout out to their staff for being so kind, friendly and welcoming! I usually feel so bad bothering attendees about situations such as that above, however the staff made sure to quickly resolve the situation and were also so kind and friendly about it - thank you!

I love that there is such a sweet little place nice and local!
Have been here a few times now and tried a few dishes! The scrambled eggs were made averagely.. maybe need a bit more love đ But wow, the zucchini and feta fritters were spot on, could not fault the dish đđœđ And the muesli bowl was also nice and fresh!
It's a great place for a pop in coffee or juice too. I think Keilor needs a few more places just like Sweet Lulu's đ€
Love this small cafe !! Definitely the go to in Taylors Lakes area considering there arent many places in the area. Love the atmosphere, outside seating have heating and also blankets. And to top it off, ITS PET FRIENDLY !!
Yayyyy!!!! Finally a decent place to go that is close to home.
We grabbed a burger and the green chicken curry and they were both great. Service was pretty quick also
It's good to go with some friends too because they split bills so it makes life easier when paying.
Came here for lunch today. Really enjoy my green chicken curry. Couldn't finish it cause it was too big. Coffee was excellent. My partner enjoy his big breakfast with bacon, poached eggs, sausages, and chorizo as well. Will come back again to try the Pad Thai that everyone recommended.
Came to this cafe for lunch today. Spoilt for choice with the menu, enjoyed the Pad Thai after one of the staff recommended it - awesome flavours and great price! Would definitely recommend. Prompt service and the staff were lovely. A gem for the village, will be back for sure!
Always a good option however it can be very busy on Saturday mornings and afternoons. Service is always attentive and quick and the menu gives a good range of choice for breakfast/brunch/lunch. Meals are excellently portioned - you won't leave hungry. I really enjoy their corn and coriander fritters. There's heaps of parking available down the street so it's a no stress location.
This place is a little gem. Delicious food, fantastic coffee and outstanding service. Our food came out super fast and our waitress was lovely and very attentive. We will be back!
Arrived early and was given a table straight away waitress bought me across a bottle of water and menu very promptly I ordered a large mug of capuchino and the big breakfast it is a very cosy and warm cafe Food arrived very quickly and tasted great but it's not the biggest breakfast I've come across All in all service and atmosphere great food and coffee very nice I would recommend this place to all
Great coffee! Sweet Lulu's do a great big breakfast, and it's only $19!! Great people, and worth visiting! It's great value for money, and I'll be returning for sure!
Great little café in the heart of Keilor. Lovely coffee food is delicious. The staff are always helpful and efficient. Great to have a café that you can enjoy in the suburbs well done
Terrific food great service, just hard to get a table due to some construction at the moment so arrive earlier or later than normal brunch hours.
Terrific meal & great service. Everything was presented beautifully & the temperature of the food was piping hot - just how I like it....(lukewarm food is an absolute no-no in my book). The cafe was pumping & packed with people, which is always a good sign that the cafe is doing something right. Just a pain that you have to wait for a table, because when we rock up to a cafe, we're usually starving! We'll definitely be back!
The staff were all so friendly and the food was great. It came out quickly and all tasted very nice and fresh. The coffee was perfect and will definitely recommend and return
I had the Full Breakfast and I have got to say it was a very full breakfast. Everything tasted delicious and the serving was perfect as I could just finish it. It was only $19 which is amazing for how much I got. Usually full breakfasts go for about $24^ so I was really impressed. All components of the breakfast were good, it included, eggs, toasts, bacon (lots of it), beans, mushrooms, sausages (2!), and a hashbrown! It was heaps for little! A definite must come back café!
I thought the coffee was good. I had eggs benny and they were good, friend had ricotta pancakes and they looked awesome. Service was great and cost was reasonable. Probs be back.
Strangely i like this place. From the outside and inside its a standard local suburb coffee shop for brunch / all day dining place. But i like the atmosphere. Service are friendly and attentive. Menu selection are good. Coffee is fine for me. I love my soy mocha. Food serve is generous. Price is standard coffee shop place. Definitely will be back.
Always a pleasure. Went to Sweet Lulu's for Breakfast and we were greeted with a smile, coffee came out straight away.
Meals came out with in 5 minutes.
Great atmosphere and service.
I'll be back
Sunny side up in the sunshine. I recently had a delightful breakfast at Sweet Lulu's while basking in the morning sun in the cosy al fresco dining area at this surprising little cafe. The location is a fabulous corner spot in the picturesque Keilor Village where the sun gently warmed our backs as we read the paper and listened to the magpies warbling from the stand of eucalyptus tress that line the village. I had the corn and coriander fritters that were accompanied by crispy bacon, baked tomato halves and topped with sour cream and rocket which gave the dish a lovely peppery aftertaste which I loved. My partner had the poached eggs which were perfectly cooked and shared the plate with thick slices of fresh sour dough and beans drizzled in a light tomato sauce. She fancies herself as a coffee connoisseur and raved about the coffee. The service was very pleasant with a bevy of friendly young staff waiting attentively without unduly bothering us. With the warmer weather upon us this little cafe will be one of my go to options for brekkie. Thanks for feeding me guys and I will look forward to trying your lunch menu one day soon too.
Perfect eggs, good coffee, staff very nice! Winning! Will be back for sure!
Love this place!! Breakfast is delicious, reasonably priced, speedy service & staff are very friendly. Yet to point a fault here. Highly recommended!!
This has been one of our go-to places in the western suburbs for the last cpl of years. Find that the staff that work midweek are friendlier than those on the weekend but the food and coffee is consistently good. Top pick is the muesli, fo sho, but everything else is great too. Highchairs and plenty of parking are a bonus. Will be going back again and again and again.
Would highly recommend sweet lulu's to all. Went there today and was pleasantly surprised with the new menu :) I ordered the prawn linguini and my husband got the barramundi, both tasted excellent. The service is always friendly and knowledgable which is hard to find these days. Has always been a favourite and continues to be.
Ate here on a Sunday morning. Breakfast with my husband, brother in law and his 4 kids ranging in age from 3 to 9 years. Food was served quickly given that it was pretty busy. They joined a couple of tables to accommodate us and we all really enjoyed our meal. A couple of things were forgotten but they were brought out within a few minutes. Only weird thing was a croissant with ham cheese and tomato ordered for one of my nieces has icing sugar over the top? Don't know what the deal there was and because of that she wouldn't eat the top half. Also, a standard milkshake of which we ordered 3 were charged at $6.50 which I think is VERY excessive. The kids ones were charged at $4.50 which would have been a more appropriate price for thd full sized ones. It was only milk and topping afterall! Anyway, nice place and planning on going again this weekend with a friend.
Beautiful staff. Food was delicious, drinks were a bit smaller size than average, but really great atmosphere!
Always good coffee and lots of friendly locals. We love to come here often
Sweet
Luluâs is without doubt a wonderful
Cafe in Keilor Village . Food is so delicious. , drinks and atmosphere are spot on as always. The staff are amazing and cater to all your needs. They were very accommodating today taking a large reservation. Coffee and deserts are always perfect !
A great venue for Sunday brunch and meet up with friends café. The café has limited seating inside but there is plenty of outside seating due to its corner location. The decor is very inviting and comfortable. You will be pleased with the open and windowed outlook, which gives a fresh, bright, and pleasant atmosphere.
Staff are extremely friendly, professional, and attentive. Theyâre ordering system is streamline and flexible; you can order combination of quick snacks to have with your coffee or larger meals to dine. I tried a ham and cheese multigrain toastie with freshly squeezed orange juice - delicious.
As the name suggests âSweet Lulusâ is wonderful fine cafĂ© to order all those cakes and treats that youâre expecting to enjoy when you visit a cafĂ©, including cakes and slices. Try theyâre delicious hot scones with jam and cream.
Plenty of parking is available across the road, out front with unlimited time availability. You will find all day parking on the Old Calder Highway (the main road out front).
Due to it's popularity, you will find the café quite busy on a fine weekend day.
been looking for a cafe near me that stands up to my favourite place in altona, safe to say i have found her, and her name is Lulu.
the food was amazing, so fresh, hollandaise was on point!
service was great, attentive but not pushy.
thanks so much lulu, iâll be back for your lunch menu!
Very busy little Cafe in the heart of Keilor village. Food was very nice, found the staff could be a little more friendly. Maybe it was due to being so busy, would've given five stars. Smile girls it was a beautiful melbourne day.
