Dhaba restaurant is anything but excellent !! I would totally recommend the place to others. Makki Ki roti was good. Will surely be back!

Really good authentic Indian food. Amazing curries and you'll rarely find a better Indian place in Melbourne. They also make a really good Ras Malai dessert!
Great food! Great ambience! Great staff! It is the second time that I had great food that had satisfied me to 100 percent. Bit exxy. But I would give more than that for the quality of the dishes. Highly recommend.
Started of with our booking issues. My friend had done booking under his name. After reaching there the lady at the front counter said there was no booking. The food started conking out. Amazing. Loved every bite of it. The waiting staff there is very lazy. The staff expected us to go be them the plates after we had finished. They expected us to take the plates and spoons from them. Not sure what were they employed to do. As we were Hungry we were cool about. Customers pay for the food and service. The expectation is to deliver it.

We were welcomed in a very courteous and friendly manner, our order was taken on time and delicious food was served on time.
We had a great chance to enjoy live music as well.

Dhaba by Aangan, literally means Restaurant by the highway!! The decor brings you back to the Indian highway side restaurant when one travela by road specially around North India. Food served is well prepared and served like a dhaba, again this what we went for.
We tried dhabe la daal ( lentils from Dhaba), garlic naan, lattcha paratha and balti paneer. Food was well and made to order to your level of spice tolerance.
Locatio is bit secluded, overall a great experience.
I would have to say that this would easily be the best Indian restaurant in Melbourne by far. Well priced and the standard of food and service was excellent. We tried some new dishes and was pleasantly surprised. Looking forward to our next visit with friends.
Awesome Indian food after a very long time. Thanks to my sister who decided to make a reservation at this place for dinner. The restaurant presented a typical Indian look and feel - which I really liked a lot. We ordered quite a lot of food and all of them were totally awesome. Service was really good and the food was served promptly. Looking at the crowd here I can say that this is a pretty popular restaurant around this area. I will be visiting this place again.
Oh my gosh! For my first time in an Indian restaurant they have set the bar high.
I usually get take away from here and this was the first time I sat in and ate and WOW! I can't describe how overwhelmed I was by the atmosphere alone.
Waitress staff were on point when ordering and food wait time and the food was amazing.
The downside was the staff kept asking me if my food was fine whilst I've got a mouthful of chicken in my mouth. I think I counted 3 times
Ambience of this restaurant is great but I just wish that they keep the noise level down- music is too loud. Food was outstanding. We were a group of 7 with three children and ordered a variety of starters and mains along with drinks. Everything went well with expectations and the service was quick seeing the number of people there- it was packed being a Saturday night.
Amazing and spicy Indian food.. Friendly staff and beautiful ambience.. Lady named Gurpreet served us and she was very helpful and friendly.. Loved the food but a little too spicy for me to handle.. If you visit this place you must try the Dahi Kebab, Laccha paratha, Dhaba Ka bakra, chaat platter, the drinks cart and the Matka kulfi.. A little on the expensive side but worth a visit...
I have tried Aangan Footscray and Aangan Derimut. I saw the advertisement other day when i was at Aangan Derrimut and thought of trying this. Interiors are excellent. In India, 'Dhaba' means any road side food stall especially along national highways. Food here is good and the staff is very polite and hospitable. I have tried veggie dishes here and planning to go again for dhaba style chicked next time. Watch for more updates here !

A delicious curry coupled with friendly service - can't go wrong with Dhaba by Aangan. They did miss an item in my takeaway order, however, they were very apologetic and given how busy they were (on a Monday) it was understandable. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting a quality curry at a reasonable price. I just wish they did delivery!
