Review Thai Spy Restaurant - Kellyville

Excellent service. The staff were lovely and friendly. The food was delicious. Had the fried rice with tofu, pineapple fried rice and spring rolls. The fried rice with tofu was very tasteful and the vegetables were cooked perfectly tender with a nice crunch. The spring rolls were super tasty with a variety of vegetables including corn which I loved and dipping sauce. The pineapple fried rice was also tasty except the mild chilli I asked for was a bit more than mild however it was overall very enjoyable. And all the vegetables were so fresh and vibrant! The vibe inside the restaurant was fantastic and welcoming. Bottle of water and glasses were brought to our table as we were seated so am pleased I didn't have to ask for it. Overall a very pleasant first time eating at this lovely little restaurant 😀 Absolutely recommend Gati Thai Restaurant. Now that I'm writing this I wish I'd taken some photos lol

Food is about average but poor service and very rude this time. Cash only for orders under $25? I did not have cash on me (never do) and forgot about their policy. Had their lunch special and went to pay. The cashier told me that he will accept card payment with a surcharge, but only once, and went on by saying "I will remember your face, so no more". He was clearly annoyed and was angrily red faced. I was shocked. I'm sorry, what have I done wrong. Why don't you tell your customers as they step in the store. It's not my fault, it's yours, and your responsibility to ensure people are aware of your policies. So disrespectful today and I won't go back.

$25 minimum order for card transaction is an obvious cash grab. I wonder why they want cash???$$. I can shop anywhere and they will accept cards for any amount. These days people don’t carry cash. Business must be good to turn people away. I will not be back while they have this policy.

Really good beef massaman curry. And the spring rolls where fantastic. Always good Thai food here and quick service. We done here regularly and have always had a great meal.

The food taste good and service is excellent. One little thing I would like to says is a lit bit salty. Would recommend this restaurant.

Very disappointed with the quality of one of our dishes and the service on 8th November 2020. Had eaten here over 10 times and had been previously very happy with the food. Today, I ordered the usual order of Pad Se Ew with beef (I order this EVERY SINGLE TIME) and it was much saltier than the previous orders. I needed to drink water after 2-3 bites. When I notified the staff, they said it was "normal" and that the Chinese people eat it like this. Apparently another table was served the same dish and said it was OK but I am Chinese too and we don't eat it like this. It was much saltier than previous times I had it at this restaurant. I tasted another dish served today at our table and it tasted fine, not as salty as the Pad Se Ew. They said they won't change it, won't fix it, won't do anything except add more noodles, which they will charge extra for! Staff were not in any way apologetic. Left the dish uneaten and won't be returning, if this is their response to a substandard dish.

If your after customer service this is not it, I called about asking for catering for a wedding and asked to speak to Manager, she blatantly hung up on me without first telling me why. All I wanted to do was organise a catering for my Wedding, poor customer service

Food was delicious. Portion size was very generous so careful when you are ordering too many dishes. Also service is quick you don't have to wait too long for your food.

Our second visit to this restaurant, the first was eight years ago. We couldn't believe how good the service and meal was compared to our first visit that was ordinary. We found out that a new owner started four and a half years ago. The food is delicious and very fresh this will now be our regular Thai restaurant.

A nice hole in the wall store!! If you have a bad patience might be bad for you though. Came on a Sunday night and seemed to be understaffed, took a bit to come out. But the wait is well worth it. The Massaman Curry is a must have and the star of the night. The green curry, pad thai and pad see ew are also good too.

Tried to book table for four  at 7pm midweek, only to be told after waiting for the only staff member a young Asian lady to get of the mobile phone that they are allways too busy and don't get paid enough to work longer hours , advised it would be best just to order takeaway .We ended up getting takeaway pizza from next door on the evening we wanted to book with friends, my husband and his brother picked up the pizza and upon returning advised the Thai restaurant was empty ?? They clearly don't want any dine in customers as other friends in kellyville have said this has been the way for the last twelve months. Wouldn't even bother trying takeaway from this place. Pizza was excellent. Forced to rate to make comment.

Great food so excellent for takeaways. Friendly service, but not enough staff. Wait too long for meals to come out - sometimes more than 15 minutes. First dish is cold.
