Review The South Kempsey Corner Store - Kempsey

Travelling from Melbourne, I checked the reviews I thought I would try the place out Walked in, 2-3 customers, looked like a cafe from the 70’s (not in a good way). Was so close to walking out. A coffee and Breakfast burger later, I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Service was excellent, Burger and coffee was fantastic. On top of that as I was leaving the shop was packed. Locals obviously know they have a good thing.

Great coffee, delightful friendly relaxed young servers and had a tasty southern fried milk bun burger with fries. Great spot after mountain biking nearby, parking right outside and outside tables so you can keep an eye on your bikes

For too long Kempsey & it’s surrounds have been the poor cousin to Coff’s Harbour & Port Macquarie. Gradually though, things are starting to change. Partly drawn by the allure of the famous Crescent Head surfing reserve & the attraction of a now growing infrastructure that has home buyers creeping in to the area. Not surprising, The Corner Store at South Kempsey is bringing some culinary ‘street cred’ to its fast food offerings. Home made, in house cooked & prepared, this place will certainly become an institution. Brilliant coffee too so you won’t need a double shot. I don’t know these operators from a bar of soap but their cooking makes them feel like family! It’s a yes from me!

Lovely find after camping near by on our roadtrip. Staff were super friendly and welcoming, coffee was excellent and food was delish. Nice little store.

The local corner store in Kempsey is also a local cafe! The food is sensational. Clearly a favourite of the locals it was pumping when we drove through Kempsey for a stop on our long drive. Definitely, put Kempsey Corner Store on your list of stops on your next long haul drive through the region.

Best Brekky Burger.. fresh .. tasty high quality and low price. A great little find passing through town. Plenty of products and friendly staff. Thank you
