Great family restaurant with reasonable prices. The blue cheese gnochi is excellent and so are the pizzas. We really enjoy taking the kids there for a family dinner.
After a brief chat and watching the chefs cook we were complimented with garlic bread upon seating, the edges were crispy whilst the centre soft, definitely was not lacking flavour. Mains salmon and eye fillet, was very juicy and decided to grab extra pepper steak sauce on the side which was the best decision, the essence of red wine in the sauce was clear.

The food was lovely. Did take a while to come out but we did have 6 meals. Still worth it.
The Pizza was delicious, thin base, lots of toppings.
I got 3 large pizzas for 3 people and we have lots left for lunch the next day. The staff were friendly and we didn't wait long for them to be ready. I guess maybe they were a bit expensive $20 a pizza. But it was worth it.
My favourite was the vegetarian but everyone else's favourite was the Julio pizza!
Quite enjoyed the food here. We had four different pizzas which were all delicious. The panacota was devine! The staff were very friendly and attentive. All in all a great suburban Italian restaurant.
I'm having my dinner at this place right now and could not fault a single thing. Great atmosphere with friendly staffs and chefs. Most importantly my steak was perfectly cooked and served right on time after our entrees. Keep up the good work!

We'll be back!!!. My husband and I are frequent patrons of Piazza Italia, as such, after reading negative reviews regarding the restaurant, I feel compelled to share our dining experiences. With the advent of new management, my initial reaction was one of scepticism, as how could the new owners possibly maintain the high standards set by the previous owners? I am relieved and pleased to say that indeed they have! Tina and the staff are always attentive and courteous. Nothing is too much trouble.
The food is of an extremely high standard (I recommend the eye fillet steak, cooked according to your preference and to perfection!!) which always arrives expediently. Full credit must be given to Alex, the head chef. His food is ALWAYS superbly cooked and just melts in your mouth (try Alex's Osso bucco or beef cheeks.....they are to die for!!). Given Alex's exceptional care to detail and his unsurpassed skill as a head chef, my husband and I keep coming back for more!! We love the ambience, service, value for money and of course, the exceptional food as all contribute to a wonderful dining experience. Thanks Piazza Italia! We'll be back!

Meal portions were generous, full of flavour and great value.
The Chef even brought the meal out as the wait staff were busy meeting and greeting new customers and taking drink orders.

Great Italian. As a regular diner there, we have not once been disappointed! The veal is amazing, cooked to perfection! the service is friendly and food is not rushed. The door old do with some improvement though.
Piping hot food. As frequent visitors to this restaurant we are never disappointed. Our meals are always piping hot with fresh ingredients. We would recommend this restaurant to others and we are fortunate to be locals. The stafff always helpful and welcoming.

Love this place. We eat here regularly and have always enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere, good service and fabulous food. My favorite meal is the steak Diane and my daughter reckons the fettuccine carbonara and spinach ravioli is the best in Brisbane.
Great local restaurant. Really enjoyed our meal here. The steak was excellent & cooked to perfection. The portion sizes were good. The staff were friendly & attentive.

Can't fault it!. We were recommended by neighbours to visit this restaurant and we are glad we took their advice. The food was great and the atmosphere was buzzing! We booked for a friday night and were glad because the place was packed. Try the spinach pumpkin pizza!
What happened to the pizza??. A few years ago, this place had the most amazing pizza - to die for! They used to stand outside on a Friday night and give sample to people going next door to rent movies. Bought a couple and really enjoyed them. Then didn't for a while, and when we did again, the pizza was awful! Overladen with cheese - that's all you could taste - and a base that was just mush. What happened?!
However, the rest of the food we've had there is good (not fantastic, just good), and the service always friendly and attentive. Please could you just bring back whoever used to make that fantastic pizza?!
Great food great service. My wife and I have eaten there probably once every fortnight for the past 6 months. The service is faultless and the food is fantastic. From the moment you walk in, order.. get your meal everyone makes you feel welcome. Try the cabonara with chicken and mushroom.. yummy!
Top Spot. Came across this spot a while ago, and we're glad we did. Great food and a good place to bring the kids. We'll be back! Highly recommended.
Excellent. We have takeaway from here once a week and I cannot fault it. The owners/managers always do their best to make you feel welcome and like one of the family. The chef and all the staff in the kitchen work hard to produce magnificent food. The best pasta I have had in Brisbane.
Best Italian Restaurant in Kenmore. Had a great night a couple of weeks ago, place was packed, food terrific and wait service excellent. Highly recommended.
Pleasant Dining. We chose a Tuesday night to have dinner. The service was fast and friendly.
The meals were large and delicious and reminded me of really good home cooking with fresh and plentiful sides.
The place is often full on weekends most doubt with more locals who appreciate a good meal. It is not fine dining but a place to have a good hearty meal.

The staff at Piazza Italia are always extremely happy and friendly, especially with their regulars. The food is always spot on and have never had a bad meal yet – whether it’s take away or dine-in. An easy 5-star review!
The chef's special was good... The pizza had a little too much onion on it for me. Prices were excellent.
