Not the best sushi edo. It’s definitely not as fresh or tasty as others I’ve been to but it’s the closest to my house. Sometimes they drown the dishes in mayo. Tastes good but they can definitely do better.
When in need of a Sushi fix we visit this Sushi Edo franchise, 5 minutes from home. We sit away from the Sushi Train and order our meal on the table’s iPad.
As always we enjoy our meal here. A few of our dishes, the Salmon Skin and Unagi Nigiri are tiny serves. We will be back before Xmas!
My number one go-to sushi spot on the West side of Brisbane! Always a massive line for dinner but well worth the wait, especially when you know you’re gonna get great food and service! My go-to’s are the Crunch Roll and the Pork Nigiri - and of course, Miso Soup!! Yum yum yum
I've been here 3 times now and love this place. The price has increased to $3.80 for the dishes on the sushi train. I always order the miso soup here. Its one of the tastiest I've had, with bits of vegies through the broth.
The service is always fast and efficient.
The food was very good, in terms of quality, being fresh and very good value. The chefs were efficient however i found the wait staff did an average job.
Cheap and good sushi in Kenmore. At $3.50 a plate what could go wrong? I noticed that this place do some special kinds of sushi, must be just an exclusive for this outlet. The curry sushi was good, but weird for me. Place is a bit small, so it can get pretty crowded at night.
Not sure why this place has a 3.1 review. Food is excellent and is reasonably priced. Sashimi and scampi are both fresh. We totally loved it.
How awesome is this! Our Kenmore now has it's own sushi train, long overdue, and it's a beauty.
Just $3.50 for all main plates, and plates are orderable via the iPad on each table if it's not on the train.
The quality is as you would expect from a good sushi shop, and ordered food arrives in a timely manner. The staff are also exceptionally friendly, considering how busy they usually are.
There's an iPad at the front of the shop for ordering takeaway. Just enter your order, sit and wait, and a staff member will bring out your order in around 5-10 mins. Too easy.
Really great service! Every plate of food was super fresh, full of flavour and if not on the sushi train was made swiftly! All of the staff were so lovely to top it off. Definitely coming back lots!
Let me preface this by saying I eat here a lot ever since I found this great little place. We live in a wonderful time when great suburban sushi is an actual thing!
Sushi Edo provides a pretty standard sushi train experience but with the great added feature of a mostly made-to-order extended menu. Oh man do i love the Cheeto rolls! It's great value for money as the majority of the menu is a standard $3.50 per plate. The staff work hard and food is always fast.
If you are a local to the area this is a must stop for any sushi lover! You might even see a Hungry Panda eating Cheeto rolls!
$3.50 for a plate of sushi? For such a cheap price I was expecting it to be pretty bad but I found it to be way better than Sushi train.
This place caters less to the fried chicken & California rolls crowd and more to less squeamish sashimi lovers. However, having said this, there is still a wide menu.
Friendly staff, Tablet Menus and authentic (as far as I know anyway) food are a real treat to see in a place like Kenmore.
I'll be back!
I went to a lot of Sushi Edo restaurants before, but this would be the best one thus far!
Fresh ingredients, seamless processes with no chaos, so streamlined and food tastes so good!
Couldn’t recommend this more, a must if you love sushi.
Good menu, lots of options. All nice and fresh. Friendly staff. The seating can be problematic, as there are only a few booths and everyone wants them.
Freshly prepared Sushi mostly at $4.20/ plate.
One of the best amongst other similar establishments. Fresh consistent Quality. Efficient service.
I always come here with my family it’s delicious i like it. And always sit out side because my daughter love looking around and enjoy eating...in summer time outside will a bit hot and have some bugs or insects hope the owner will think about it how can protect the customers outside ✌🏻✌🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻😘😘😘😘❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Good food, building tasted good but I thought it was called Sussy Edo Kenmore and now it made me sad, but not to worry the sussy imposter called WizardLizard came and showed me some sussy sushi and the place was redeemed 10/10
Plates are now $3.80 they increased the price a few months ago. Business is always busy on Friday and Sat night. There are so many to choose from. Food taste good.
There are also other options in the menu, which are higher in price, such as the A la-carte, Sashimi, Udon and Salad.
You can either take the plate from the rolling track or select the food from the Ipad and the staff will deliver to you.
Most staff are Korean despite this is a Japanese restaurant, friendly staff.
You can join the free membership and accumulate points. 100 points for $3 etc .
If you pay cash, you get 3% off from your bill.
All our family like the food there.
I gave 4 stars because the price can be deep and the wagyu beef (see photo) is not so good, is a bit tough.
There was once, 3 of us (adult) spent about $100 (really full)😋
