Great service , great value , great food , can’t ask for much more :) , owner is a champion , I eat here at least 3 times a week for the last year and can’t fault it .
Not many options for people on the low FODMAP. Good food, friendly staff and clean. Prices are very reasonable and the servings are large enough to share.

Ordered to be delivered to home and got a free entree, got me some sweet sweet stay sticks yo! , was stoked by the delivery time as well, overall pretty positive experience, I eat Thai most days of the week from different shops through menu log and it's pretty hit and miss but I'll probs go back to this one.
Great dining experience at Khing Thai. Lovely flavors, fast and friendly service. Been here several times, favorite dish is the pineapple fried rice. Pad Thai I'd always a winner a well.
I cant believe the bad reviews on this place on this site , you have question whether they are legitimate ,I come at least 3 times a week for over a year now and it is spot on every time , you cant beat the service ,value and quality ..
Been here for lunch twice, though usually order takeaway from them.
Dine in portion size is pretty decent (you'll be full for sure), price is also pretty sweet (from $10 you can grab yourself a good lunch fix and a drink too). You can choose whatever sauce that floats your boat.
Takeaway is pretty fast, and food quality (size, value for money, taste)is great too. Good ratio between meat and veges.
I like dining/ordering from here when I can't be bothered to cook for myself.
Lovely interior and great location. Great food. Couldn't fault the food. Opted for beef with chilli basil, beef massaman curry and beef satay. Great presentation and great flavour. Would eat here again
Khing Thai is not bad. The lunch special is only $10 and it covers curries, stir fries and noodles with rice and a drink. The portions are also generous. The green and red curries are pretty good as is the chilli basil stir fry. I have had the fish cakes and also the Pad Thai and both were average but fine as far as generic Thai places go. I'd definitely recommend for the lunch special, though think you could get better Thai for your money on the full price menu.
Delicious curry puff and chicken wings for entree and for mains we requested all the dishes to be extra hot and got exactly what we wanted, all dishes were super spicy but done really well. Papaya didn't taste too fresh but loved side charcoal chicken. Larb Gai was very nice, good quality chicken minces. I didn't love their Pad Thai though, I prefer authentic flavor rather than tomato sauce style but the chicken was really fresh and cooked perfectly nice and tender. Service was good with well-priced meals.
Good service, great decor - but not the best Thai food, especially for somewhere like Sydney. It's not too far from UNSW so if you're sick of campus food and have a 2hr break, give it a try?

Best Thai I have had in Sydney. Khing Thai was a pleasant surprise! Couldn't get into Chairman Mao so my boyfriend and I ended up here. The place was quite but it was only 6pm and it quickly filled up. The coconuts were the freshest I have ever had and the entrees (prawn cake and chicken satay) were both light and full of flavour. The mains (king prawn pad thai and massam curry) were just as good, but portions were big so we got left overs take away. Our waitress was a little aloof/rude especially when a near by table dropped some glass and she walked away, but everyone else was lovely including the owner. We weren't expecting much going here but the food was incredible and we can't wait to return.
A few words in defence of Khing Thai and the management. Hello, I'm a local resident and have been eating a Khing Thai for many years, lunch and dinner - myself and my staff buy lunches there almost everyday. I don't normally leave reviews but I like to leave a few words in support of Khing Thai. I notice a few bad reviews but I'm sure the management will take the feedback on board. I've never known the owner to be impolite. I noticed some people think there has been a change in management - as far as i'm aware the same owner has been running the restaurant for many years now and has been behind many of the positive changes. I hope people check all the other positive reviews when deciding to go. My favourites are the grilled lamb cutlets in thai spices and the duck curry, my wife loves the pad see ew in chilli jam sauce. Also the attached coffee section serves a really good coffee in the morning.
Good service and delicious food. We had dim sims for entree (best I've ever had). Mains we had were cashew nut & chilli jam prawn and lime leaf & green pepper chicken with rice. Both were delicious. Would go here again.
I dine here regularly and am always impressed with the service and the quality of food. My last meal from this establishment was a few days ago, where I dined with my partner. The restaurant fantastic ambience and feels very modern. We were seated in a booth area and the candles are a nice touch.

The satay chicken sticks and the soft shell crab for entree. Both mouth watering.
For mains the BBQ duck and lamb is To die for.. As is the roast duck Pad Kee Mao ( for people who like spice! )
The restaurant now has a great dessert fridge with many different cakes, tarts and cheesecake which is a perfect way to finish a great evening meal.

Love this place. Nice clean and ambient restaurant for eat in (good for family, friends or even nice enough for date night) and take away is always good too. High quality meals, always hot and fresh, huge menu with really yummy choices. Meals come in two sizes which is convenient. Been many many times and never had a bad experience. Highly recommended. Only let down is poor dessert choices but you are generally so full it's a non-issue.

Absolutely love this place. I go here on a weekly basis and I must say, the food is fantastic. They recently did an upgrade to the place and it looks great. The staff are very friendly, fresh food, cheap and great servings. I have tried a number lots of Thai places around Sydney and this is the best so far. If anywhere is around for lunch, pop in and you can get a meal and drink for $10. Highly recommend this Restaurant.
Some of the best Thai food in Sydney. I eat there every week, and have done for years. Staff are extremely friendly, polite and professional. I have all my social gatherings with friends there, and have only ever had a great experience.
