Cozy place, nice bakery and cake. We do like our homeade banana bread and spinach pie. The banana bread was bit crunchy after being heat. And for spinach pie, the pastry unusual, more like a sourdough..the spinach is a fresh spinach not a mashed one. Coffee was great, they put additional syrup in my mocha.
I think I should come back for another breakfast
We went there around 11am on. Sundag, so wasn't too busy, which we loved. Nice and relaxing. Amazing service and the food was delish! Make sure you try to side of potato gems. Amazing!! Very reasonably priced for the food we got.
Great juices, Immunity is packed with enough ginger to make it as energising as a coffee. Lovely staff and good prices. Labne is highly recommended!
Great food and good coffee. First time there even though just around the corner. Will defiantly be back. Had the lamb manoushi and tried the falafel wrap both great
I am Lebanese and that was the First Lebanese man2oshi that felt Lebanese in Adelaide . The cheese one was amazing, highly recommended. We will go back for sure

A spot of sunshine on Magill road with bright yellow decals on the shop front that can’t be missed. This delightful café offers crowd favourites with brunch and lunch menu items such as poached eggs, smashed avocado and a selection of Middle Eastern dishes hard to resist.
On this particular Sunday morning, after an eventful hike at nearby Morialta Park with two of my friends, we found ourselves feeling energetic, a little sore in the legs and famished! To The Little Eastern we go. On arrival, we were relieved to find that the often full café was near empty and we were offered a table by the front door, near the bright yellow coffee machine. The lovely lady who greeted us, put a glass of crayons for doodling and menus for perusing as well as water to refresh us after our outdoor adventures.
This place is fantastic. A cosy little cafe with a variety of different seating arrangements. Comfortable for everyone. Excellent service. Friendly, attentive and fast. The food is not only very affordable but the servings are very generous, beautifully presented and everything I've tasted so far has been amazing. The quality of coffee is right up there with better cafes in Adelaide and consistent which is a key for me. This place is becoming a favourite of mine. I've been fortunate enough to have eaten at The Little Eastern three times over the last month and I can't fault it yet. I'd give 5 and a half stars if I could.
Cute little cafe on Magill rd, easy to spot with their bright yellow decals. Wonderful service, efficient and friendly. Delicious food! Try the baked eggs with turkish sausage, will not disappoint. The Immunity Booster juice is quite savoury with strong taste of beetroot, celery and ginger, very refreshing though and you get a few serves of veggies too! Also try the haloumi, best haloumi I've had in a while, goes well with the crusty sourdough bread.
Will return to try their lunch menu and lebanese pizza.
Delicious fresh flavours with a good price! Colourful presentation and friendly service. Good coffee! What more do you want? Perhaps a little more room in this tiny store!
We ventured over the other side of town just to try The Little Eastern as it has been on my list for a while. We were not disappointed. Excellent service, great coffee and delicious food. We didn't try a manoushi but they looked excellent!
This was a lovely little place. The staff were super friendly, the brekky deelish as well as the homemade cakes and slices. It's a fairly small menu but packed with flavoursome choices and a pick and choose style too. Love the brightness of the place and that they give u crayons on the tables hehe! Will return. 😊👍
It's time we had some Middle Eastern inspired brunch options in Adelaide; sometimes I just get those falafel cravings. Situated in the Eastern burbs, the intimate, woodened-furniture, crayon drawing, canary yellow coloured signage decour works well for The Little Eastern, though it can get a lil squishy. The Lebanese Breakfast; organic Turkish bread with scrambled eggs with sujuk, labne, fresh tomatoes, cucumber and olives caught my eye and thankfully they let me swap olives for halloumi free of charge due to my undying disdain for olives. It was a fantastic, filling meal for an economical price; $13.50. And when there's cheese manoushi on the menu, who can resist? It was pretty good but unfort not as amazing as the classic Munooshi Cafe on East Terrace.
The food and coffee was AMAZING!! I highly recommend the 'Haloumi Burger' - the haloumi was cooked perfectly and the veggie patty was so tasty. Our meals came out soon after ordering and we were so impressed. Great atmosphere, great set up, and very friendly staff. Will definitely be back!
My go to place for coffee and brunch when I can't decide where to go for a quick bite. The staff are super friendly. This small shop is worth a visit but don't be surprised if you have to line up because there aren't many seats inside.
Had a top lunch experience here today. I had a chicken salad which had lovely tender pieces of chook cooked in loss of herbs, very juicy. Boyfriend had a haloumi burger. LOVED it. Bread toasted to lovely and there was a pumpkin pat tie in there too. Loads of aioli. Aioli was PACKED with garlic, super fresh and creamy. Can't argue with that.
Roasty toasty potatoes also served with that amazing aioli. The best. Yum.
Great friendly people, with delicious brunch/lunch food at affordable prices! Highly recommend the Lebanese breakfast which comes with scrambled eggs and sausage in a dish, then with some toasted bread and little bowls of toppings like olives and dips! Will be back for sure :)
Great little coffee shop. Family run. Excellent coffee with outstanding beans served hot. Friendly service and lots of smiles. Great bustling eastern suburbs vibe. You can tell they care about the food being plated up and it is well worth a visit for a satisfying caffeine fix.
I absolutely love this little place. Very kids friendly and the service is excellent. Coffee and food is nice but not the best I have tasted. Overall, a great place to catch up with friends. Will come back.
Excellent coffee, delicious sweets and a refreshing and inventive Middle Eastern twist on their food. Appropriate for breakfast or lunch. Try their Manooshi, a fold-over middle eastern pizza or their semolina and pistachio slice. Even if you're not hungry, just stop by for the coffee.
Magnificent little place. Very affordable, particularly if you try their munooshi (which I recommend you do). The coffee is tasty, and service pleasant. Best of luck to Abdulla and team.
The coffee. Full stop. Why do so many places settle for mediocrity by skimping on the coffee blend and the training of their barista? I also loved all the effort put into the decor, eg the birds sitting on a branch.
BRILLIANT COFFEE !!. This new addition to the eastern suburbs foodie/coffee scene is very refreshing.
It has interesting twists on breakfast such as Lebanese breakfast which consists of eggs with turkish sausage (sim'r to chorizo), natural infused yoghurt, approx. 10 kalamata olives, diced tomato, diced cucumber 7 turkish bread........lovely& refreshing!!
The chocolate brownies are as good as they look and freshly baked inhouse!
And their coffee is brilliant !! Abdoullah consistently produces great coffees from Dimattina beans.
Its as good as if not better than any out east.
Well worth a try!
Top marks!! The food was delicious, service was lovely & love the fact you can draw on your table, a very nice touch oh & coffee was good too!!
Another Gem in the Magill Road Crown!. Absolutely love this place! The Green bean fritter and the falafel wrap are to die for. Every element in every dish, is perfectly balanced. You can taste the freshness and quality produce, yet everything is so affordably priced. My husband who isn't a huge fan of falafel, had a bite of my falafel wrap and absolutely loved it which says a lot! The owners are wonderful people who will take great care of you. They can do pretty much everything take away, which is perfect when you can quickly park right out the front and run in. Thank you Little Eastern and especially for being open on a sunday!
Love this place! The food i.... Love this place!
The food is delicious and really well priced.
The staff are lovely too.
The Little Eastern is a big winner. The Little Eastern ticks all the right boxes. The staff are super friendly, the fitout has a cool urban vibe and the food is great, with a lot of what you see on their menu being made in-house.
They offer speciality coffee, fresh juices, Lebanese-style folded pizzas called manoushi, plus a range of other wholesome breakfast and lunch offerings with a Lebanese bent.
The coffee is their own blend which is strong and toasty, and they complement this by using one of the best locally produced, unhomogenised milks - Tweedvale.
My smashed pumpkin, roasted with feta, almonds and a chunky salsa on organic sourdough bread was bursting with flavour and texture. The Lebanese breakfast was a winner with my dining partner too.
There's a huge range of vegetarian options but really all bases are covered, from eggs to salmon to lamb. There's free wi-fi and it's a child-friendly cafe (the tables are covered with butchers paper with crayons supplied to keep your little ones occupied).
Do yourself a flavour and check it out :)

I found a new breakfast place called The Little Eastern on Magill Road. It is a tiny cafe with only a few tables and chairs. We must have walked in at the right time on a Sunday. A table was available for four of us to sit at.

I (Amanda) recently visited The Little Eastern (TLE) for a brunch catch-up with a friend eager to try the Lebanese inspired all day breakfast menu. The accents of bright yellow used throughout the intimate cafe, exposed brick feature wall and homely wooden furniture provided a bright, cheery and comfortable setting. Within minutes of arriving we were greeted, seated by the front window, provided with menus and table water filled our glasses. TLE Goodies I decided to start with an 'Immunity Booster' fresh juice comprising of beetroot, carrot, apple and ginger.
Found this eastern breakfast /brunch place near a place i was visiting Sunday morning. The aroma of coffee and scrambled eggs pulled me in, while i was walking to nearby McDonald for a egg muffin.
Place: A nice cosy place. Few of mothers' day brekie were going on. Seems like a very popular place, lot of poeple were walking in and ordering take-outs. There was wooden tables/crates setup outside, but the weather was little chilly for me to sacrifice my morning tea outside. Luciky got a table. A very courteous gentleman and lady at counter. Gentleman was serving takeout coffee orders not from the counter but walking to each waiting customer and chit chatting a bit. Tables had recycles paper as covers and there was a cup with crayons on each for you and the tots to give your drawig coloring skills a shot. A chance not to look at your phone screen but to engage in something colorful and nice. Saw few masterpieces on the wall of fame. If you can take up the challenge to claim a lot on that wall, there is an opportunity. Interesting customer engagement. A pot of water outside for your paws. All in all friendly, clean, cosy, busy, easy on pockets setup. For me, a great find, to come and have a brekie on weekends.
Food: Ordered a turkish break with egg scrambled in Lebanese suasage, olives with English breakfast tea. Few words of praises for the food: Exceptional, tasty, nicely presented, bang for the bucks, healthy and everything a meal should have to make you happy once you are done with it.
Suggestions for visitors: Found the place quite busy, if you dont mind waiting or sitting outside than fine, makeing an appointment wouldn't be a bad idea.
I would strongly recommend this place for a heart, healthy meal/brekie/ brunch. Give it a go and enjoy a morning just like i have done mine. Good luck to you and this establishment.
A nice little gem my friend and I tried for the first time. Great quality, excellent coffee and a fantastic experience.
Nice vibes, good service though a little slow. Had the lamb burger and I personally did not like the taste. Would ordeR something else next time. But the chips were great. Nice and crispy. Would come again.
Great coffee, great staff, nice cafe, nice food, thumbs up
The most adorable little cafe. Some work colleagues and I came here a week or two back and thoroughly loved the experience. The atmosphere and the polite staff are very welcoming and the fact I can draw on the table with crayons is a great little touch. Itv's a shame the menu is as small as it is but I understand due to the size of venue. Definitely recommend.
