Review Han's Cafe Carousel - Kenwick

This is one of favourite breakfast and coffee places in Perth. Lots of seating options… if you have kids, it’s a great place for young mommy’s catch up. You can have a relaxing coffee while they play in the play area. It has a place for all age groups. Busy… so book a table before you land.

Lots of space inside and outside by the river. Came here with a group of friends and easily found a table for the severs of us. There is a play ground near by. Appears to be pet friendly too - or rather - there were many pets while we were there. Do check the timings, there is a short window between breakfast and lunch where the kitchen does a changeover.

Went back recently, the service has improved and the play area is very popular with families. The food is ok. The location is nice, but it's quite busy on a Sunday for brunch with a 10 person line. The food looked nice but lacked any real flavour. The freshly squeezed juices were nice tho. Nothing here to make me come back.

A wonderful cafe on the river. Plenty of outdoor seating in both sunny and shaded areas. I have an extensive menu and a wide range of cakes and desserts. Plenty of drink options including tea and coffee. Food and drinks are ordered at the counter and delivered to your table. This is a very popular venue and reservations are recommended. You may miss out on a table if you don't make a reservation.

Friendly, multicultural staff. A really good strong and smooth coffee made exactly to my instructions (well done) and just a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the view. Nice crowd. Seagulls are very cheeky so protect your food..

The last time I was here was some 10 years ago under a different name by a different operator. It wasn’t good but I’m very happy that I’m here again and a different operator with a nice name of Lo Quay River Cafe. Ordered the Scones for myself and the Mushroom Stilton Bruschetta for my wife. First the scones, it crumbled nicely and wasn’t sweet or overly firm. In other words, perfectly done in house. Now for the mushroom stilton bruschetta, superb that’s what I can say. There’s more, the pot of Earl Grey tea was very fragrant and well brewed. The staff were friendly and very pleasant to interact with. This cafe deserves more than the 5 stars rating available.

Mothers' Day, a busy time for a first visit to a cafe, but we did it today. My son and I took my wife for a morning coffee/tea at the delightful Lo Quay River Cafe. The location on the Canning River is wonderful with magnificent shade trees, the sunlight on the river, black swans and other waterbirds swimming or preening on the riverbank. Of course on Mothers Day the place was crowded but a table was found for us and our orders taken. "Morning coffee" turned into brunch as my son ordered the Large Breakfast to share with his Mum and what a meal it was - HUGE! I had a mixed berry muffin (also huge) and coffee. son had a caramel milkshake with ice cream whipped in, Mother had Turmeric Latte with coconut milk, I had flat white coffee. Price of $42 was reasonable given the amount of food. Even though it was very busy time the staff were all friendly, helpful, polite and efficient. The whole event was very satisfying. Will definitely go again.

Look, lovely place and the staff work hard, but service can be slow just because of how many customers there are. One note for those visiting with children - access to the river means constant supervision required
