We went for dinner the other night. Vegetarian and carnivores. Wow just wow is all I can say. We had the best meals. A good mix across the menu, pizza, pasta, calzone, calamari and antipasto. The pizza is divinely good with a soft fluffy interior and wood fired exterior. We finished off with the most insane donuts, strawberries and ice cream. Talk about out of this world. It was so delicious we kept eating long after we should have stopped. Do yourself as favour and go for a meal. You won't be sorry.

The Lasagna al Forno is the best lasagna I’ve ever had. The pizza is amazing and the calamari melts in your mouth. We took our kids (2&4) and were made welcome with colouring pencils etc and their pizza was made in the shape of a bunny. So family friendly! The Shiraz was great too.

Left the restaurant waddling like a penguin with the amount of food we ate - the salsiccia gnocchi was to die for! So creamy and full of flavour, the service was great and we actually felt like we were the only ones in the restaurant even though it was full. We would definitely come back!

Best pizza ive had in years, the dough is unbelievably tasty and the ingredients are all very fresh. Extremely polite service, very friendly and even offered free samples of pizza as I waited. New business off to a fantastic start, Will happily travel across several suburbs just to eat this pizza. Highly recommend.

I can not put into words how amazing the food and service is at IL FARO!!! Best gnocchi in the whole world! And don’t get me started on their doughnuts covered in fresh strawberries and Nutella!!! I’ll be bringing everyone back here as the food, and more importantly the service, has completely captured my heart! Could not recommend more if I tried!

Best pizza!!! Want to steal their base recipe so bad, it was just amazing. Service was great, everyone working there was so friendly and kind. And the desserts!!! To Die for!!!! Highly recommend the cannelloni! Drool worthy!!!

Phenomenal! The best thick hot chocolate I have had (thick but light and not overly rich), pizzas are rustic and fresh! The dough is magnificent! Service is fantastic, the crew is so friendly and with great personalities. Definitely coming back and bringing friends and family.

I got 2 pizzas from here. The service was fantastic, friendly and welcoming.

My first pizza was a Capricciosa which was an Italian tomato base, fiore Di late mozzarella, mushrooms, olives, artichokes and ham. Mama Mia, what a pizza hahaha. Yum.

The second pizza was called ragu which was slow cooked 3 day beef ragu topped w smoked mozzarella, pancetta, bechamel sauce, fresh peas and fresh basil. This pizza was d’lish,

It was cheesy, the meat was soft and the pizza base, was Italian milled multigrain mix of Italian flours, made traditionally was excellent.

This place is definitely worth a visit and it’s currently open for take away. Happy days.

Absolutely loved it! Everything from the food to the service was fantastic! My husband is Vegan and he was so happy with the options for him and loved the taste! We will definitely be back here and will be telling all our family and friends!

If you’re a vegan this is a must visit Italian restaurant with delicious food.

The staff are the best you will ever encounter around Melbourne with good laughs and kindness to match.

We came here for dinner with 12 italian family members who are very particular about their pizza!
We had a variety of pizzas and they were all outstanding!
Calamari and fat chips at the beginning were delicious.
Wine and prosecco selection was also great. Negroni's were very good.
The service was impeccable where the staff brought drawing and coloring in pictures for the kids and then we received free nutella pizza with candles for the birthday boy- a very special touch. And they brought a bowl of strawberries for my daughter who is too young for nutella.

Woodfire pizza is plentiful in Melbourne but these guys definitely do Neapolitan pizza justice. Dough is light, proofed to perfection,crispy and to top it off the ingredients are fresh and flavourful.

Found a gem in the heart of Kew Junction! For two, we ordered:
- aranchini balls: not your average arancini, these ones had beef ragu filling, a flavour bomb!
- gnocchi salsiccia e porcini: gnocchi was light and fluffy, the sauce was not too rich and thick. Italian pork sausage gave dish another layer of flavour, absolutely delicious
- genovese pizza: very generous with amount of prosciutto, giving it a salty delicious taste. The pesto flavour worked well with the tomatoes and buffalo cheese. Crust was very thin, overall delightful pizza.

We used zomato gold here, making it super affordable for such quality Italian food. Portion sizes are pretty big as well. They have a wood fire oven where you can see the chefs preparing your food, making it extra special. Definitely will be back!

Have been meaning to try out this Italian place in Kew, however each time it has been booked out and my boyfriend and I have just missed out. To me that’s a good sign!
We finally experienced their wood oven pizzas and let me just say, it’s definitely now my number 1 pizza place to go to!
I had the four cheese pizza and being a cheese lover, I fell in love! Definitely recommend. My boyfriend had the Genovese pizza and that was also delicious. Everything was tasty and fresh.
For dessert we shared a tiramisu and if you love fresh cream, this dessert is for you. The coffee wasn’t really there, but still enjoyable.

Amazing pizza! The four cheese pizza featured a different cheese that was predominant in each corner (of a circular pizza). The bases are so light and fluffy and delicious. The Genoese pizza was topped with prosciutto and cherry tomatoes. This place is my equal favourite for pizza in Melbourne.

Tried here tonight since my friend couldnt stop recommending this place! The place was good and i will definitely visit here again with my friends.

Food was delicious - had the Pancetta pizza and gnocchi ragu. The donuts (if you still have room left from the mains) are an absolute winner - slightly crunchy, slightly chewy and slightly sweet. Staff were super attentive and friendly, and vibes were relaxed and homey. Will definitely visit again!

My friends and I came here on a Tuesday evening for dinner. It was our first time dining at IL FARO and we will definitely come back again. The service was attentive and the staff are very friendly. The pizzas were delicious with quality, fresh toppings and the base was just perfect (not too doughy). Could not fault anything about the food and service. Highly recommended!!!

The humble Italian restaurant is at the heart of every community, it is that local place that welcomes you with open arms and always has amazing food coming out of the kitchen. But sadly, in an age of Instagram and fast moving everything it’s hard to find that quality Italian family spot, that we all crave a little anymore.

Thankfully, we came across Il Faro, a family run Italian restaurant – in the heart of Kew – makes you feel like one of the family from the moment you walk in the door. Il Faro is not just another pizza joint; evident form its branding, they have moved away from the standard red, green and white and introduced pops of colour through yellow and blue. This ‘pop’ was really shows through their inventive mix of traditional and playful flavours through their menu.

To say our experience was anything short of exceptional would be an understatement. From the service to the food, Il Faro is setting a standard. While the menu has some great traditional favorites, like their five-layer lasagna to their margherita but also are serving up some new tantalizing options like their signature Il Faro pizza.

What really makes their pizzas unique is their cooking process; their dough a unique house blend that is cared for and treated with respect really sets the tone for the restaurant, creating an amazing taste to enhance their pizza even more. This was evident from their take on the humble bruschetta – a generous portion of fresh tomatoes, red onions, bocconcini, garlic, oregano and olive oil all on top their secret, homemade dough, put it all together to create an amazing flavour combination. Not to mention their lasagna – five layers of slow cooked beef ragu amongst fresh pasta and cheese – we agree with their simple moto on this one… just try it you won’t be disappointed!

visited il faro for fathers day on Sunday night, this restaurant was busy that night but staff were very friendly. I want to thank and send my appreciation to the waitresses that night for ensuring everything was coeliac friendly for my brother and i, they asked if we were coeliac which shows they understand gluten free very well and i felt safe to eat here!

we ordered the antipasto platter to start with which was delicious, lots of cold meats on the board, pretty generous portion

i was a little disappointed as i didn’t know but will know for next time, the gluten free pizza dough had run out and being fathers day they sold out extremely quickly, leaving me not being able to try, for next time i can call in advance to assure i get some put aside!

for dinner i ended up ordering the gluten free gnocchi ragu, i also got to try the gluten free gnocchi salsicci e porcini , i loved the sausage in it. The gnocchi was light and tasty for gluten free!

my dad had the porchetta pizza which looked delicious and cooked beautifully! he loved the taste and how soft it was.

overall pretty happy, ill be back to try that pizza! :)

I am so glad that I found an authentic Italy wood fire pizza restaurant in Kew junction near my home, looks like run by family, the restaurant is tidy and clean , not luxury, We ordered rocky pear salad,chief special pizza and my prefer rocket prosciutto pizza,they are very delicious, you can taste the smell of wheat, , as I bought Zomato gold, we got 1+1 food , strongly recommended and I promise you won’t disappointed, definitely, trust me , we will back again

Exploring food in Melbourne has never been so easy and affordable.

I understand for most of us trying a new restaurant is kinda hard. We tend to stick to same old same old Restaurant at most time.
For me it’s kinda like sticking to your comfort food. BUT!!! I would like to encourage everyone to explore the food world.

My friend Introduced me to this traditional Italian Restaurant @ilfaropizza and I fell in love with them.
Owner is very friendly and helpful, food is very traditional and delicious. Huge range of menu to choose from with FRESH & HIGH QUALITY INGREDIENTS!

My must order list would be the Lasagne al Forno! I am not able to tell you which pizza to order as everything is actually really good – choices will only depend on your preferences.

But do order the Donuts – and don’t forget to ask them story about how this dessert was invented.

We were miserable when Circa 900 closed down, however we were pleasantly surprised to find that the restaurant that replaced it; Il Faro, topped the old place with flying colours. Atmosphere, food, service, Il Faro is a triple-threat, and if we were to say that it exceeded our expectations, it would be an understatement. DELICIOUS FOOD!

Il Faro is the perfect, end of week restaurant for the whole family. Their Pizza's are especially good and just about anything Italian you can think of, they will most likely have it on the menu. Their waiters are really nice as well which always helps.

Tried this restaurant that was recommended by a colleague and let me tell you I was not disappointed!
Staff were welcoming and friendly
Nick kept us entertained while we enjoyed our absolutely amazing meals.
The gnocchi was cooked to perfection the slow cooked Ragu was omg amazing not a speck of food left on my plate.
The pizza was nothing like I have had before the dough was light and very tasty and all the toppings were fresh and the ingredients were of very high quality.
Will defiantly be back to try the rest of the menu and those Nutella donuts which looked amazing. 😀

Had margarita pizza, gnocchi and cannoli. Really good pizza, delicious, flavourful, oozing with tomato sweetness. Cheese is also great. Btw they do sparking on tap as well. Pasta was okay. Would certainly come back! But would only get the pizza !

Absolutely authentic Italian pizza.

We ordered a variety of pizzas and pastas we dined at IL Faro and we were overwhelmed by the service, taste and portion sizes. This restaurant offers a great resemblance of authentic Italian cuisine.

The staff are friendly, the prices are reasonable the bases are cooked to perfection and the pasta is well balanced. What else can you seek from a resturant?

Look no further than IL Faro! We will definitely be returning

IL Faro Pizza offers an authentic Italian cuisine and it’s situated in the heart of Kew; Only few door steps to catch public transport (tram), on the street car parks are also available along High Street, Kew. We’re glad to be invited by IL Faro to have foodie experience. As soon as we arrived the restaurant, we’re given a warm welcome by Nick De Lorenzo (owner) who was working on that day.

This has to be by far one of The Best Pizza Experience. Got the 3 for $59 deal which is a great way to try out their extensive variety reasonably. Also Arancini was 5/5, with the bolognaise sauce that entices me to try out their pasta dishes too...! Just so happy to have tried ILFARO. Please stay true to your love in food making, and maintain your no ‘compromise in quality’ policy. Will be back!

I was invited to Il Faro over the weekend and can attest that it was probably the BEST pizza I have had (as other reviews will concur). My partner and I were quickly greeted by the owner Nick who made us feel right at home straight away. He told us about the restaurant's history, introduced us to his family behind the counter and in the kitchen and familiarised us with the menu. Nick was such a great host - his passion for fresh, quality Italian ingredients was infectious and really got us excited about what was going to be served to us.

First and foremost was settling us in with a drink. As a creature of habit I went for a Pinot Noir and my partner bee-lined for the craft beer menu of 'Birra Nazional' beers which Il Faro imports direct from Italy! My partner throughout the night made his way through 2-3 different types (from medium bodied Italian Ales to Amber Ales) and loved them all. Nick (having worked in the alcohol industry) prides himself on his carefully curated wine/booze menu and rightly so as I was very happy to sip on my Pinot the whole night. 

When it came to food, Nick was very happy to feed us and be in charge (which I love!) but we were both afraid of not being able to finish everything so decided on the Antipasti Platter (with came with a huge focaccia) and Calamari to start of with whilst we waited for our mains. Il Faro's speciality is their 72 hour dough made of a proprietary blend of grains (their very own secret recipe) which is used across their crust/bread based dishes.  We couldn't visit without sampling this, so we waited and watched in anticipation as the Pizza Chef stretched, massaged and cooked our focaccia and pizza in front of our eyes (thanks to the open-plan kitchen). 

Our starters arrived and almost knocked us back as it was HUGE! Perfect way to start an Italian meal with a selection of cured meats and grilled vegetables and a simple rocket salad with grana padano cheese (which I think could have been cut smaller or crumbled) as opposed to plated in thick cut chunks - but still delicious! This itself came with a HUGE focaccia which was delicious and our first taste of this infamous 72 hour dough. Despite being light, fluffy and beautiful I would suggest that this be a smaller serve as it was a little overwhelming to start with (especially for two). 

Calamari was delicious - I'd recommend if you enjoy your seafood to get this to start off your night for sure. 

Although we were both operating at about a 3/5 full stomach at this point, we had to try a pasta and a pizza before leaving! I decided to try the famous ragú made from beef rib and wagyu mince. I decided to try this with GF gnocchi (I often like to try and sample the GF options at places like this to see if the dishes are as good as if they were regular pasta). My partner was up for a pizza and left it up to Nick to give us his best. 

Both mains were delicious - gnocchi was light and fluffy (a good portion size) and the ragù was layered with a great depth of flavour. This arrived first so we both finished this quickly together before the pizza arrived. The pizza was beautiful - pesto, prosciutto, melted cheese - amazing! I was so full I had a bite and was blown away. My partner had about 2 slices and had to fight his urges to finish it as he was also too full. We ended up taking the leftover pizza takeaway and I can say that this was enjoyed the next day for lunch. We had a friend over who had a slice and said 'this is one of the best pizzas' I've had.' 

We had no room for dessert but will definitely be back for more. I'd recommend Il Faro in a heart beat for anyone looking to be whisked away to Italy without the flight ticket! Leave it to Nick and you'll be in great hands.

I've said it now and I'll say it again! I love a family run restaurant for a lot of reasons and Il Faro was all this and more. Greeted by Nick the owner who really is a passionate individual who made our experience extra special. We had some italian beers which were the best we had and marked the bench mark high for everything else. A great menu covering off all the classics but with the addition of a few unique dishes. The pizza is amazing here given the dough being something else. The lasagna is also really damn good. End it with some dessert options 👌 If you are after some italian food made from the heart you must stop by here.

Greeted by Nick, the very passionate owner, we were seated and told the story of the family business which imports most of it’s ingredients straight from Italy.
Homemade (by him) slow cooked ragu and a unique and flavourful dough made with 5 types of flour and cereals. Different to any pizza dough we’ve had, it was super light and perfectly paired with an Italian beer!!
We also decided to try the ragu with gnocchi which I can describe as a big warm hug!
Something familiar and comforting for me.....

We finished off with the ricotta cannoli with orange zest and pistachios. I’ve never been a fan of ricotta cannoli (I prefer the custard), but these were off the charts!
We left satisfied and not painfully full (for a change) and with a smile from ear to ear.
Sadly, I was so into the food, story and the moment (as we should be) I only took a pic of the cannoli.
Lovely family business and highly recommend you give these guys a try!
We’ll be here again.

Fantastic Italian food using beautiful authentic ingredients imported from southern Italy. The dough is made in a different way using a few different types of flour and left to proof for 72hrs giving it a light and fluffy texture with an amazing flavor.

The ragu used in a few of the dishes is slow cooked for days and is packed full of rich flavor. Absolute winner!

Imported craft beers and wine to match go perfectly with the dishes.

Don’t forget the cannoli!!

To top it off Nick the owner is super passionate about his food and looks after all his customers. This comes through in everything he’s serving up.

Went here for my son's birthday and was fantastic experience. We got arancini as an entree which I think we're the best I have had. The pizza was also amazing, I particularly loved the parmigiano. We brought in a cake to celebrate and when the owner realised it was my son's birthday he brought out a Nutella pizza on the house which was also amazing. Overall a great experience and restaurant. Thanks for the hospitality and we will definitely be back.

Truly amazing food! My daughter wanted to go somewhere in South Yarra or the city for her 18th birthday dinner but I had read some wonderful reviews about this new local restaurant and convinced her we should give this place a try. We were all impressed and almost clapping our hands after each mouthful. The ragu sauce that the arancini was served on...... absolutely delicious, as was the lasagne and gnocchi ( finished in the oven with heaps of melted cheese on top ). The only size of the pizza is really large, so go hungry or share. ( Parmigiana pizza with added mozzarella and grilled zucchini ). Cannoli as a complimentary birthday surprise at the end of the meal was delicious and unexpected. Family owned and run business and I wish Nick and his family every success with their restaurant. I know of one celebrity chef who would say that their ragu sauce should be bottled and sold, it is truly that good! Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu.

We were invited to Il Faro last night for possibly the best pizza of my life to date. This is a a family business, Il Faro means the lighthouse and the uber friendly owner Nick wants customers to gravitate to his restaurant whether it be to celebrate or commiserate and feel like they are walking in to his family home. You definitely got the sense that staff were genuine in the warm approach.

Aside from the very enjoyable atmosphere the food speaks for itself. The pizza is something truly impressive and I can’t help but believe their 72 hour dough is responsible for that. They spoke of using five different types of dough, whatever they are doing it’s certainly working as the Margherita was just exceptional. We almost considered not ordering it for while it’s a classic we considered going for something more adventurous but I would definitely recommend trying it.

We also opted for a white base pizza and had the 4 cheese. This was actually a 5 cheese rendition with a hint of chilli. Simply stellar. Another must order.

I can’t forget about the entrees. We began the meal with calamari and the bruschetta. These were good sharing dishes to start but bring your appetite because they also do pasta and we couldn’t resist ordering the lasagne after hearing it has three types of beef cooked down for three days. Diced Black Angus, wagyu mince and beef rib- yes this team certainly knows what they are doing!

We also had the baked gnocchi dish for our vegetarian friends at the table. This was also well received although after all that we weren’t sure how we were possibly going to tackle dessert (don’t worry we found the strength). The affogato came out looking rather impressive and some cannoli we didn’t actually order but the owner wanted us to try. None of us were huge cannoli fans prior to eating these hence why we didn’t originally order the dish but maybe that was because we had never had cannoli like this. The zesty blood orange combined with crunchy pistachio inside a perfect shell was utterly heavenly.

We had ordered the donuts and they arrived looking absolutely stunning drizzled in Nutella and topped with strawberries. This is a great sharing dish to end the meal on a sweet note. But wait there’s more you have to try the Nutella pizza! Luckily the 72 hour dough is easy to digest! This was presented beautifully too. A near faultless evening

Being just 5 months old we were impressed to see how much of a following Il Faro has, the restaurant was positively teaming with diners on our Friday night visit. Their pizza bases are fermented for 72 hours (most places do less than 48) and this gave the base an almost wholemeal colour and and what I would consider the perfect crust with great springiness and chew. They do a whole lot more than pizzas as we discovered.

This bustling venue kept our food rolling in and we started with Bruschetta. The toppings where super fresh with buffalo, tomatoes, herbs and onion with a lovely drizzle of olive oil.

Next we had the calamari, these thick tender pieces had been covered in a lovely light semolina adding a crunch, served on rocket and with some aioli this dish was perfect.

We had the lasagne, this dish was no ordinary lasagna and was with a blend of top quality wagyu and other fine beef cuts. It was an incredibly rich dish with plenty of cheese and baked in crispy corners.

The table was divided over the Gnocchi with some finding it too rich from all the cheese. Personally I loved it, it had the sweetest tomato which was salty and the cheese was super tasty and stringy which I got myself tangled in a number of times.

For our pizzas we chose the margherita, and a four cheese (but it was actually 5). We were not disappointed. The margherita was outstanding, the combination of the 72 hour dough and sweetest tomato layer topped with cheese was outstanding. The four cheese pizza was also incredible, the combination of the variety of cheeses gave a great tasty cheese layer. I liked the inclusion of chilli oil which gave this pizza the edge over the margherita.

Desserts were a challenge on account of us being so full. We had the cannoli with pistachio and a blood orange flavoured centre. Best Cannoli since we were in Italy in 2017.

Doughnuts came warm with strawberries and Nutella and there was nothing about these that we didn’t love. Same really with the Nutella
Pizza which was styled and carefully piped with really sweet strawberries and dustings of icing sugar.

Drinks wise I got to try two amazing beers from an imported range of Italian craft beers and soft drinks. I totally recommend you try these.

I also finished off my meal with a delightful hazelnut liqueur affogato which was the perfect way to finish off a fine meal. Such a fun Friday night here with a meal that was pretty much as good as perfect.

Beautiful food and a great environment with lovely staff. The owner, Nick, is super friendly and welcoming and clearly cares about his customers and ensuring they have a great dining experience. They sell the Baladin range of Italian beers which I was super excited about! For any beer lovers, you MUST try one of the delicious Baladin beer's on offer. We shared the bruschetta and each had a pizza - all was delicious with great texture and high quality ingredients. We also had the cannoli which was incredible!! I had no room for dessert but managed to squeeze one in upon seeing how beautiful they looked. And don't forget to finish with a shot of Amaro.
HIGHLY recommend Il Faro. Will definitely be back :)

Absolutely loved the gluten free pizza - best I’ve eaten in Melbourne. Very light and also very tasty. So many options for toppings! My non-gluten free friends/family that I dined with also thoroughly enjoyed their pizzas and pastas, they loved the cannoli to finish as well. -Rosalba lionetti

The best woodfire pizza in Kew! The base and toppings are so tasty and fresh. We had the Nduja and Calabrese - the homemade salami is sooo good!
For something truly authentic, try the Crudo e Bufala- the buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto (freshly shaved in front of your eyes) are added to the hot base after its come out of the woodfire! I’ve never eaten pizza this way before and was a bit unsure what to expect when I saw them making it, but my lord ... Sooo delicious!
The owners are so lovely and welcoming. Our visit ended with some absolutely stunning cannolis which I recommend

This was a fantastic food. I highly recommend eat.in. the.lemoncello spritz was.awesome. has GF options that were the best. Ordered prosciutto pizza and donuts and affagatto. Really.well prided as well.

Simply the best Lasagna I’ve ever had. Melt in your mouth calamari and beautiful pasta. So welcoming for families too. We took our children (2&4) and were greeted with colouring pencils etc and an awesome, clean and safe high chair.
The Shiraz was great too!

We were made to feel welcome from the moment we entered. Upon ordering the owner Nick was extremely knowledgeable and made some great suggestions. These are really really nice Pizza’s. Extremely flavoursome, made from high quality produce and cooked to perfection. We will be back.

I absolutely love discovering Italian restaurants with my favorite style of pasta - porcini and Italian sausage. The service is so lovely they didn’t bat an eye when I wanted to mix up my order by switching up the style of pasta used. Highly recommend the Nutella pizza for dessert also - they do not skimp on the good stuff!!! 🍫

We all know that a good pizza is all about the dough. Here at Il faro their pizza dough is made from wholemeal flour and set to prove for 72hrs! The results are light, fluffy dough cooked in a huge woodfire pizza oven.

We were invited to try the new menu on a Thursday night. The stand out meals for me was the Bruschetta Classica with extra virgin olive oil, diced tomato, diced red onion, baby fior di latte bocconcini, fresh garlic and oregano. This is prefect to share and so delicious with a glass of Aperol spritz.

Spicy Nduja Calzone with italian tomatoes, fior di latte mozzarella, nduja (which is calabrian hot salami), ricotta, and chargrilled zucchini. This was delicious and served with a green leaf  salad.

For dessert, I highly recommend the cannoli filled with fresh ricotta, orange zest and pistachio nuts and the Affogato - an espresso coffee with a shot of bailey’s, served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Also you cant leave without trying the Italian style donuts served with nutella and strawberry topped with vanilla ice cream.

Staff are fantastic and so friendly. Add their number to your phone list, this could be your local.

Great food and service and Vegan friendly! We had the kids’ spaghetti bolognese, bruschetta, gnocchi with cheese, and a veganised version of the gnocchi on my request! All really yummy. The bolognese sauce wasn’t the usual kids’ fare - full of flavour, it was just in a smaller portion than the option on the regular menu. The bruschetta bread was amazing. Meltingly soft and scrumptious. Apparently it’s the same dough as in their pizza, so we’ll be back soon to have pizza here. The service was great too, from friendly happy staff. They’ve been open only 8 weeks and there weren’t many customers but if the food is anything to go by, this place should get busy fast, and rightly so.

One of my favourite things about Il Faro is their 72 hour fermented dough made with wholemeal dough which is very light (so you can demolish a whole pizza) and it also has a crispy crust.

On an autumn evening we were invited to dine with 'IL Faro Pizzeria & Cucina' conveniently located on the Kew tram route and main street. Opening just this March on High St in Kew is 'IL Faro Pizzeria & Cucina' a great family owned Napoli style pizza restaurant. . Italian Hot Chocolate. It's freezing outside and so the 'Italian Hot Chocolate' was the perfect choice...
