Lovely sushi bar. All sushi freshly made and for a great price. Excellent customer service. Obento box - generous portion for such a good price.

Nice small place friendly staff delicious food

Extremely friendly and nice owners. Too bad food is inedible! Not sure if the chicken belonged to 200 ago or it was uncooked, either case I was afraid to touch it even with fork.

This place is not very well known, yet I love their sushi they serve up. It's a great spot to pick up your lunch and then quickly get back to work. Anyone who hasn't been here before, definitely should.

Good lunchtime option. The operators are friendly, and the food tasty, decently sized and well-priced. I'd recommend the Oyako Don or Katsu Don. Pretty basic place to eat in, but most take away I reckon.

Not the best sushi you can get. They are very friendly but the sushi tastes like it's been sitting there for a long time. In other places you can taste he fresh cut salmon and the seaweed isn't squishy. I've given this place a chance but they haven't impressed me.

A cheap but cheerful sushi option in Kew Junction. A good selection of sushi varieties, though the brown rice sushi selection is a little limited. I enjoyed the bento box and my dining companion some brown rice sushi rolls. Everything was pleasant, but not amazing. There did not appear to be any hot food or bento box options for vegetarians which is a pity.

Found this place years ago, really good value for money and lots of choice in hand rolls. Good bento box selection, and rice paper rolls are a quick and easy meal

Love it!!!. The sushi there is massive!!! It's so delicious and a fantastic price! They Are so genourous making a new sushi roll without wasabi for me! The customer service there is great with friendly staff and they always have a smile on their faces. Highly recommend it to people who like cheap but deliciously huge sushi rolls

-----05 Apr, 2015-----

Love it!!!. The sushi there is massive!!! Best Prawn Sushi Rolls in Melbourne. This place has the best tasting sushi rolls. The are are a good size and resonably priced. Always fresh.

Dinner Service. I have been struggling to find much food left after 7pm in the Sushi Bar. Might be time to give the Cafe a face lift & improve on customer service. Over all the food is generally of an acceptable quality.

We got the vegetable pancake, vegi udon noodle soup, bento D and yaki vegi. It was all extremely mediocre, bordering on inedible. Not great, or even good.

Reliable. I been there many times for quick lunch, sushi always fresh!, very good value, never had any complaints, now i dont know if it is as others say a fusion japanese/chinese place, seems solely japanese to me

Excellent value. I just had my first experience at ichii sushi.. i work around the corner on high street and for the past year have been struggling to find any decent inexpensive food in the area. i was very happy with the prices and a great selection!! i'll be back tomorrow :)

Simple, cheap, friendly staff. Limited menu especially when comes to Vegos but the portions are second to none for price. Recommend

Chinese/Japanese?. Great value for money, the food taste in between Chinese and Japanese.. The kitchen is not that clean.

Friendliest Staff. Swung past quite late in the evening, asked what was left that was vegetarian, and the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly, pointing out every possibility, Had the vegetarian cold rolls, which came close to the best i've had.

Cheap and yummy sushi rolls. Value bentos. My fave place for a quick Japanese fix.

Excellent cafe style. Limited seating, but the free tea is a huge bonus along with very good Bento boxes, varied sushi selections and rice bowls. Its a good value for lunch on a weekday and does takeaway.

Doesn't worth a try. None of their food taste like the real Japanese food. I tried all types of food they provided from curry, rice dishes, fried noodles and soup noodles, also sushi, gyoza and miso soup. Only the gyoza taste ok others are not terrible just doesn't worth second try.
