Review Red Rooster - Kilkenny

Loved the rooster roll as always. I think that is the best thing on the menu. But I tried these new spicy fried chicken pieces, and hated them. They had this spicy sauce poured over them. The sauce seemed to be oil based. Because the paper box was just floating in oil. It was extremely messy. 2 of the moist towelswere not enough to get the oil off my hands and fingers. I highly recommend the rooster roll. But steer clear of the friend chicken unless you love eating pure oil.

Ordered through the app for delivery. My order was marked as delivered when it had infact not been. Called the store multiple times, no one was answering. On the 12th call I spoke to a member of staff that said I needed to call doordash as delivery wasn't their responsibility. After speaking to doordash my order was reordered and a new drive went to pick up, they arrived there to be told it was already delivered. They contacted me and to this point in time there still has not been a resolution. Terrible customer service and very poor communication. Order was originally made at 6:52, it is now 8:46. Update the order was cancelled and when I called to inquire all the blame was placed with doordash. That is completely unprofessional

Their fried chicken is consistently delicious! And the staff are very friendly especially the young fella who keeps on checking on us while waiting for our order.

Bought a flayvor wrap...they took an old wrap and microwaved it... When I opened it the paper was all stuck to a soggy boiling hot wrap the lettuce had boiled and the tomato was cooked steaming hot...the whole thing fell apart with boiling hot steam pouring out.... Absolutely disgusting disgraceful thing to do....wraps are never microwaved...Use a fresh wrap put in some fried chicken and fresh salad lettuce and tomato cheese..like the picture advertised... There's never a reason to throw it in a microwave... selling microwaved yesterday's wraps is rude and I will be notifying health inspectors. When I complained I was told ..."Sorry next time we don't do that" Well guess what? Because your attitude is to save a few bucks at customers expense...you just lost a customer for LIFE and I'll be sure to tell everyone I know...was it worth it???
