Would give 6 stars if could! So cool inside. Such a good groovy vibe. So many cool things in the restaurant to look at while waiting. Very friendly staff- good communication, happy to help and have a good chat, welcoming and comforting. Including the cooks, who gave us big smiles when giving us our food. We were talking to the male employee the whole time asking questions about all the cool things in his store and he was very kind and had amazing service! He was patient and helped with our order a lot. Food was out quick, warm, and was so tasty!! 👌🏼🍔 Seriously so impressed, 100% recommend and very happy. **Amazing atmosphere, food, wait time, staff, parking. Everything!! Good work 👍🏼**

So delicious, the best hamburgers in Victoria that I’ve try. I’ve been at many places in the city but never find a nice place like this, good size and according with the price, also good customer service…. I couldn’t give 10 stars

For a small place in a small corner shopping strip, this place punches above its weight. My son and I tried a variety of items - freshly made jalapeno poppers, fried mozzarella sticks and beer-batter onion rings. All very tasty and you could tell they were home-made. If you order a burger, be prepared for a man-vs-food mountain. I tried the Brock burger piled high with a patty of sausage, patty of beef, tasty cheese, bacon, fried onion, egg, beetroot and slaw. Taste was rather average. Much better was my son's Gran Torino burger with two beef patties, bacon, American cheese and fried onion. I tried a bite and it was great! The owner was friendly and interested in his customers without being too overbearing. We'll have to come back and try some of their other specialties.

This was a great find of a place. Met the owner who truly was amazing and very caring on our satisfaction.. the place was awesome . So tasty. Had the temptation burger and it was very tasty. Didn't take photo of it sorry. Games machine toward back of store that owner allowed to play. Played good old space invaders. Good range of menu. Great music, Candles for sales designed as sundaes (in picture). Great setting. Will certainly come back again very soon!

It’s ok, friendly staff. There is some cool decorations but felt more of a car racing diner they did have some 50s but it wasn’t a lot. The food was average. Very small diner. The tables were basically for only one person. It was good to try it though, I would go back but not regularly. If you’re looking for a great 50s diner then try Fonzies.

This place is an absolute little gem! The burgers were the best I've had in Melbourne. The seasoning on the chicken in the deep south burger is from America! And is one of a kind. It was cooked to perfection! And so crispy and tender! We also had the charger burger and the beef patty just melts in your mouth. The owner Paul is so friendly and welcoming. He makes sure each and every burger that comes out is cooked to perfection. I also loved all the American memorabilia in the shop which makes you feel like you're in an American diner. I'll be telling all my friends to come here! Thanks Paul for such an amazing experience and we will be back soon!

Amazing food, best burger I had for a long time

Just had the pleasure of eating at this little place. Looks family owned and run, the staff were super friendly and the food was served hot and fresh. Definitely enjoyed the food and will be back in the future.

For the second time I took a trip back in time to the Just Cruize in Diner... Where else would you have a good big burger, surrounded by really friendly fun staff... and an atmosphere that would make you think you had gone back in time to a 50s American Diner (or at least a movie set). And be treated to be among the first to try a new flavor of milkshake (Apple Pie... That tastes like it crust and all... ask for it on your next visit) I don't do too many reviews, but this place I like. B-) (Now to go back to 2018... Back to reality)

Been looking forward to visiting this place since it opened, finally had a chance (about 2 weeks ago now) and was very disappointed. We ordered a hotdog, burger, and 2 milkshakes (one with no icecream). The milkshake with no icecream was barely cold, so obviously the milk wasn't being kept cold enough. The hotdog was good but hard to eat with the sauce all over the outside of the bun (looks good but really not practical). Unfortunately, the burger was probably the worst I've ever had. The meat was under cooked, the egg was barely cooked at all! It was ordered without beetroot, but had beetroot put on it and then taken off (luckily I'm not allergic?) And serving anything that contains wet ingredients on top of a paper napkin is not a good idea, it was soggy and stuck to the bottom of the burger. There is a lovely atmosphere and I really wanted to like the place, but I'm not sure I'll be returning.

What an absolute treasure of a place. The atmosphere with the decor and music is fantastic, the staff wonderfully friendly and the food is amazing.

First time there today at a friend's suggestion. Amazing food, great atmosphere and the staff are so welcoming. But the highlight had to be the apple pie milkshake. It's so new that it's not even on the menu, but if you go, make sure you ask for that. As weird as it sounds, it actually tastes like apple pie, the way your grandmother made it.

You haven't lived until you have had one of their burgers.. i suggest the Charger.. if your really hungry start with fries covered in cheese, bacon and gravy!! Wait staff were great and really happy

We had lunch there today for the first time and found the staff very friendly. The atmosphere and memorabilia was awesome and the food was delicious. We also felt that the cost was quite reasonable for what we got. Keep up the good work! We will definitely be back.

Went down for dinner the other night and was impressed with the burgers,fries and shakes .The owner and staff were very friendly and we enjoyed our meal looking forward to going again

Came in on a Sunday evening and the place was pretty full up. Lots of atmosphere in the cafe which is great to see. Orders took a very long time to come out. We arrived at 6:15 and we ordered our food by 6:30. We got our meals at 7:55pm. In which they forgot parts of our order. It appeared that this happened on a few tables and it was not just us that took a long time for the food to be served up. The food is great, the wait time is not. Being told 20 minutes to then have it take an hour and a half... And with a child too, it makes things rather hard to keep them entertained. All in all, if this place is busy, be aware it will take a long time to get your food to you. If its quiet, this place is certainly a great place to be with some delicious food.

The best burgers going around, full of flavour with good size patties that taste just like you would cook at home. A full menu with plenty of choices and some very unique flavours with their shakes. Fabulous value for money.

We had a really delicious meal here with the kids. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The unicorn milkshake was a highlight for kids and adults alike.

Been wanting to go here for a while and finally did the other night. This cafe provides a fun and welcoming atmosphere that is noticeable as soon as you walk in the door. You are welcomed by friendly staff who are more than happy to give details of each item menu and provided great recommendations. And to top it all off, each table has a fun game on it!<br/>We got mozzarella sticks, chips, the temptations burger & I got some new burger (sorry I can’t remember the name). Plus a milkshake each. I got the mint & my friend got the honey comb.<br/><br/>The milkshake was great! Lots of flavour & great if you’re looking for something sweet. The chips were delicious. Had a lot of salt on them. The mozzarella sticks were awesome! Practically deep fried cheese, can’t go wrong with that! The temptations burger was fantastic! Really filling my friend couldn’t finish it. <br/>For the burger I can’t remember the name of (sorry) was delicious and obviously very filling. So much bacon & so much cheese! The bacon was very crispy & the meat patties were delicious. This burger meat patty with cheese infused into it!m. CHEESE! How awesome is that. It’s currently my new favourite thing. The burger also had a Mac & cheese croquette in it too. What more does a burger need! The croquette was very great & wasn’t overpowering or bland like majority of ones are at the moment.<br/><br/>The best part of it all is that it’s made fresh so it does take some time before you get to eat it but you don’t get the sickly greasy feeling after eating which is great!<br/><br/>Would love to come back to try some more of their fantastic burgers 🍔

Such good burgers and chips. Milkshakes good. Liked the rock and roll decor which gave it a very American feel. Even the jukebox was a fun addition. A very ‘petrol head’ feel about it and its nicely done. <br/>There is something for everyone here. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Pram and stroller accessible. Good parking.

Great service with a 50's rock and roll theme. If your into great food and great cars this is the place for you. The jukebox has some fantastic classics that play while you enjoy the space. The owner is a very big car enthusiast who loves to chat and take photos of the fantastic cars that turn up outside the diner. The hamburgers are no nonsense and there is a really great selection. You can even make your own burger. The only thing that could make this place better is if we could spike the milkshakes 😉

This will be my 3rd time coming here because it's by far the best place for a hotdog and a burger :) Everytime i come here i get a hotdog and it's bloody amazing. The burgers are good too and so are the chips. The next time i come i would have to try their milkshakes. Also if you're looking to find a 50's diner you're looking at it. I'm a car enthusiast and i loved walking in. Would definitely recommend people to come and dine here or even take away :)

Tried the burgers here for the first time, 4 of us got take away burgers with fries and onion rings. I thought the Temptations burger I had was delicious, the tangy bbq sauce was awesome. I also had the loaded fries which were delicious. The bottom of the buns were a bit soggy but that's what you'd expect when the burger is in a cardboard box for 10 minutes. Will definitely go back

I ordered 'The Detroit', and while the service was relatively fast, the burger was overloaded with sauce and the patty was tasteless. The meal literally caused me to vomit on my way home. The waitress made a delicious milkshake.

Found out about this 50s themed burger joint about a month ago and I’m glad I did!<br/>Not only is the food fantastic across the board from the homemade sauces, starters and juicy burgers, but what really keeps me coming back for the 3rd time in a month is the amazing customer service I receive every time I walk in the door till the moment I leave.<br/>Keep up the great work guys! Just realised I hadn’t reviewed Just Cruize-In Diner on Zomato yet and it’s one of my favourite places to eat. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and the atmosphere fun. We went there for my husbands birthday and they put up decorations for us. It made for a great night. <br/><br/>The biggest problem is that the food is too filling! I’ve never been able to enjoy the delicious desserts on the menu!<br/><br/>PS Get a unicorn shake!

We have been to Just Cruize in Diner several times now and have never been disappointed.  We have tried several of the burgers along with the fries, (both loaded and plain) onion rings and shakes.  All the descriptions are accurate so you know exactly what you will get.  Nothing is too much trouble.  One of the things we love about the Diner is that when you bite into the burger, you get the burger first bite rather than just bread around the outside.  The quality of the meat and the bread stand out from all other burgers we've had elsewhere.  The staff are friendly without looking over your shoulder.  Only criticism we have, which is minor, and personal taste only, is that we would like to see glasses rather than small milk bottles for drinking water.  This place is good value for money and a great trip down memory lane.

This Diner is unbelievable.. We were greeted with a smile and lovely greeting by a gentleman who later we found out was the owner and we were given the booth and all of I sudden I was transformed back to the 50’s . The posters , the music , the photos of all the cars and the ambience was fantastic. We ordered some cheese and bacon fries OMG wow unbelievable and then we got our burgers I ordered the Temptations and my friend ordered the Elvis OMG OMG they were huge and the taste dripping from the burgers were amazing I truly have never had such a tasty burger and the brioche bun just topped it off and for beverages we had these Mexican drinks called JARRITOS I had the Mexican Cola and my friend had the Guava truly delicious. .. The staff are lovely and the customer service truly fantastic.. I cannot wait till next when I’ll be back for more and with more friends... First time at this little diner, driven past heaps of times and thought we should go! Had the Pontiac buger with a side of loaded fries and the better half had The temptations. Both of us walked out full. We got there early as we had to be some where. Was getting busy as we left. Reasonably priced and awesome feed. The burger patties are fantastic.

Lovely, well priced food. Exceptional, friendly staff. Fresh ingredients. Fun, really enjoyable experience.<br/><br/>Delicious old style diner burgers. Wonderful milk shakes and spiders.<br/><br/>Give it a go. Unpretentious to the core.

Terrific cafe for a great tasty meal. The staff are also great,friendly, helpful and will do anything to help you choose your meal. If you want great rock n roll music a top rate meal and friendly staff. I highly recommend this place.

We visited this restaurant on Sunday 02/07, I could not fault it. My burger was fantastic, chips arriving first and plenty of them. Service was speedy and the lovely lady serving was dressed to suit the theme. I enjoyed the fact they have american drinks, I noticed both Cherry Coke and Dr Pepper. I enjoy their "construction burger" which suits the fussy ones. Only constructive criticism I could give is not having a chicken option.

I didn’t have a meal at this venue and probably never will. It is a newly opened café/take away that I happened to wander into (curiosity) while waiting for another shop to open. I stayed for a coffee. Regrettably, beef burgers aren’t my thing, and I could see nothing suitable for vegetarians on the limited menu. The café has created a 50s rocker theme, complete with appropriate rockabilly music in the background, a vinyl upholstered booth, bar chairs, bold red and black décor, and a chequered linoleum floor. An Elvis effigy ominously looms from one corner, and pictures of old Buicks and Chevys line the wall. Unfortunately, rockers and slicked-back hair isn’t my scene either, though no doubt the theme will prove popular with the right demographic, so I wish them well. Oh, and the coffee was quite good, and the service was friendly, so it wasn’t a complete disappointment.  Credit for having a theme, but points off for the menu. Just not my kind of place.

A fun place! Nice People who make a different burger to a lot of places. Unsweetened buns with great American and havarti cheese. Bbq sauce could be better. Burger patties are more like rissoles with added carrot and spice and not quite my cup of tea. They are well done too rather than pinkish that I am used to. Fries and shakes are very good. However this place is very well priced and very local to me. Been here twice now. Kids loved it and we had a good time.
