Review Dragon Paradise Chinese Restaurant - Kincumber South

Ordered a Chinese whilst my husband was out (making the most of it as he hates Chinese!). I ordered sweet and sour chicken fritters but when it arrived it was the braised chicken. The sauce looked lovely though with lots of veg. I called up to get it changed as I was really looking forward to my only Chinese this year and they swapped the dishes over. The fritters though came with a separate, cold sweet and sour sauce without the pineapple and veg the other one had. Little bit disappointed. With a min spend of $25 + $5 delivery fee it was some expensive fried chicken 😔

Best Chinese restaurant on the coast ! Dish sizes are generous, prices are affordable and the chef is very accommodating for those with food allergies and vegetarians. Couldn't flaunt the amazing service the girls provide out the front. Have been coming here for year's and will continue to do so.

Ordered four dishes for the grand total of $62. Every dish was extremely bland and tasted pretty much the same. Somehow we continue to scratch our heads as to why we even give this place a chance every 12 months or so. It’s not a place we will be using again.

I gave them one star because you have to give them one. I spent $75 on dishes and every one of them was burnt or had a burnt flavouring to them. I do however recommend the fried dim sims and the bottle of coke. It's sad to say after the dishes cooled down and we're placed in the dog bowl, not even the family pet would eat it. Half a star for the fried dim sims.

We have been ordering from here since it opened many many years ago, almost weekly. The usual front counter person has even got to know my grandfather. Unfortunately it was her night off...long story short; it's never had chilli in it. Two of us have an allergy to chilli. The dishes I always order NEVER usually have chilli. I called tonight to see what happend and why there was chilli. I was spoken to so rudely and told I was lying about the chilli. I posted a picture on the listing to show that we were not. I spent $78 on food we can't eat and we were only offered a $16.50 credit, accused of lying and offered no sympathy nor loyalty for our long customer history. What disappointing business ethic. Spring roles were also soggy. Won't be going back here again. Real shame as it used to be a favourite family take out with lots of memories.

One of the best Chinese restaurants I have eaten at! The dishes are a great size. The waitress was very knowledgeable, helping us pick a vegan dish.

Best Chinese restaurant on the central coast, the food is delicious, always freshly cooked and never too much trouble to cater for dietary needs. The service of staff is very impressive always above and beyond. Thankyou !

William is a dead set legend. Love his food. Service with a smile is always guaranteed. Sometimes you have to wait a bit longer but it's always worth the wait.

Our extended family has asked to celebrate our birthdays at this Chinese Restaurant for the last 15 years . Every single meal served has been fantastic and I would rate every meal on every occasion 10/10. I have recommended this Restaurant to many people over the years and I am sure they have appreciated the quality of food, quick service and friendly long term staff as much as my family did. Come and try it you will be happy !!!

We moved to Kincumber a little over a year ago and have become regular dine-in customers at the Dragon Paradise. The food is excellent, with generous portions. We think Lindsay is the best - polite, professional, courteous service with great follow-through. I expect we will be regular customers for a long time to come.

Our family and friends have visited this restaurant many times over a long period of years. We have always been extremely satisfied with the service and meals provided. Also, we can't speak highly enough about the service provided by Lindsay (who usually serves us), catering for us and our family including our grandchildren and the provision of gluten free meals for my wife.

Yes I loved it. I have only recently moved to the area and had 1 takeaway. It was great. This will now be my go to Chinese restaurant.

Food was awesome as usual and the 2 young ladies serving were equally awesome.

Disgusting service tonight, only 1 table in the restaurant and over 55 minute wait for a 1 dish takeaway order that I was told would take 25 minutes, while the waitress sat behind the counter with her arms crossed giving rude looks to everyone that came in and asked if their food was ready. Will be going back to Silver Dragon Umina to get my food on time and smiles on the staff members faces

We order Home delivery quite often from Dragon Paradise. We always catch Lindsey on the phone. She is always helpful and happy and a star. The best customer service. The meal always arrives within the time stated and piping hot. As for the food. Amazing!!! Best Chinese on the coast. We are moving to Kincumber South soon so can't wait to dine in and meet the team. 5 stars all the way xxx

We have had take away twice, will not attempt a 3rd time. 1st time, hubbie stopped in on a Saturday night, (we had just moved house, starving, needed food) restaurant / phone / takeaway area all busy, waited a while, food ok. As restaurant was busy we thought we'd give it another try. 2nd time, not busy, food prepared quickly but no flavour, very bland. Lemon Chicken was very sweet, no citrus / lemon flavour, other dishes sweet, salty or oily. Shame as this restaurant is on our way home, and would be very handy for take away.

For starters we had to ask to be seated after standing there for more than 5 minutes they didn't even have the curtesy to acknowledge us! Then after sitting at the table for more than 15 minutes we had to go up to the front desk and ask to be served. When we got our drinks we got given 2 straws and two cans but no glasses, and when we asked for two glasses with ice we got told they don't have ice. Then we got our glasses which were two different sizes (very unprofessional) then our entrees came and we were provided with no cutlery just bowls. Was given the "sweet corn and chicken soup" and it tasted as though it was from a can. The food quality was unsatisfactory and the service was disappointing. So lucky that mc Donald's was around the corner.
