Had not visited Kings Beach before and were craving onion rings.
They weren't on the menu but they do serve them so we were stoked. We purchased a serve of onion rings and the $11 fish and chip meal which was perfect for 2 adults and 1 toddler
We had a great lunch here! The owner is very friendly and helpful and helped to make our family lunch special. The fisherman's basket and fish were great and well priced. Friendly staff. The main difference? Thankfully, the loud, amplified musician (too much in a small restaurant) was gone. Just quiet background tunes, and the sound of the waves across the park. Really pleasant!

Run-down looking takeaway joint with cheap furniture and plastic cutlery/paper plates. Our table had an awful, plastic christmas table cloth on it! The atmosphere & "feel" of the restaraunt section is pretty bad. We all felt really awkward being there.

Food was great, portions were too big to finish. Good value too. The only downside was the service, was very slow though the restaurant wasn't busy. The starter and mains also came at the same time.
