Review Galileos Pizza Cafe - Kingscliff

Loveeeee this place! I am not a local but I think about this pizza way too much its a bit ridiculous haha I always grab the signature pizza when I'm down that way! I'm drooling typing this...

Great pizzas, large size and very tasty.

The worst pizzas I have eaten in my life. My boyfriend and I ordered two because we read 5 star google reviews. The google reviews must be fake. We couldn’t finish both of the pizzas because they tasted so bad. We offered it to our flat mates and no body wanted a slice once we told them where it was from. They said they never eat there for that reason. I would never order dominoes but my boyfriend and I both said a $5 dominoes pizza would be better than the $50 something pizzas we ordered. Very disappointing.

We loved every bite of the 9 different pizzas 🍕 we ordered tonight. A lovely business. Super accommodating. Gave us free garlic bread!!! Tasty. Crispy. Best pizza around here by far. Thank you 🙏🏻❤️

Absolutely amazing pizza - don’t bother going anywhere else, you’ve found your next takeaway pizza! Topped with heaps of ingredients and delicious base. Both the supreme and vegetarian were fantastic and this place is 11/10!

The signature pizza tastes like a McChicken burger but only better! Cheesy garlic was great too! Owner was friendly as well and full of yarns while waiting for pizza to cook. Definitely recommend and I've had some good pizzas!

Definitely the best pizza i've had in a very long time! Fresh ingredients and so tasty! I ordered a small Galaxy/ Supreme. Getting a complimentary cheesy garlic pizza was a bonus. Your place was recommended by Jan at the Blue Waters Motel where I was staying, and I was not disappointed. Thanky you. 😊

Wow, what a pizza!! We had the 'American' which is pepperoni pizza. We went to New York in April and were at the likes of Bleaker St and Joe's pizza. This wins hand down. Service was great , staff are awesome. Best pepperoni pizza I've had in years !!!!!

good friendly service, but for a pizza with such an excess of topping, it was pretty tasteless. I think they forgot to add the sauce, or there was very little off it. It's certainly filling, but nothing to write home about - I was expecting more following the good reviews.

WOW! The shop doesn't look like much (at all) BUT the creative pizza menu is exciting & the 2 that we had were fantastic! It is not at the budget end of the pizza market but they make magic there as far as I am concerned. So happy!

Amazing pizza...true Italian style crust...lots of topping but doesn't leave you sickeningly full..we were in Kingscliff for a week and went back twice.

This is the best pizza I've had on the Tweed/Gold Coast. The menu has a great variety of unique options. I'm happy to say I've tried a few. Shooting Star is a Chicken Satay pizza that is very impressive. They also do a garlic cheese bread pizza that is a good substitute for the ordinary garlic roll in tinfoil you'll get at a franchise. Only faults are the price can seem on the unaffordable side and the shop front was downgraded a few years back. This is all superficial though. Amazing pizza. Highly recommend.

So much topping!!!. Initially it seems a bit pricey at 26 for a gourmet pizza but they r loaded with toppings!!!tad greasy but good and they have gluten free bases (extra $4).

Great take away pizza with delicious menu combinations you don't see everyday! The smell in your car as you drive home is the best thing ever!! As jigsaw enthusiasts, We loved the huge jigsaw on display as well. Terrific service with a smile! 5 stars!

Best pizza and coffee on the coast. Best pizza, great value, nice staff

The pizza was like a symphony of unicorns on my tongue. Best pizza I did ever eat, and awesome service.

Awesome Pizza!!. My partner and I bought a pizza from here as part of our special "date night" at the beach. We TOTALLY rate these pizzas, I'd go as far as saying they are the best pizza I've ever had. On the higher side of pricing (for pizza but still a cheap meal for two!), we had high expectations to justify the price but happily say they are worth every dollar spent. Taste explosion overload. Will be back for sure :)

Great value for pizza. My partner and I came in this afternoon does takeaway pizza afte reading reviews. We had a drink at the new beer garden at kingscliff and we normally don't do takeaway but this place is amazing pizza with loads of toppings that fill you up. We has Half and half the lamb is amazing.. I would reccomend to anyone who ha just moved here as we have or is looking for some takeaway that is great value and yummy ;-)

Excellent thin crust pizza. We love the food here - the pizzas are thin crust with good quality toppings and the pasta is delicious too

Best pizza in australia. We drive from Gold Coast to Kingscliff passing many pizza places
Why have the rest when Galileos is the best
Chris G from the Gold Coast

Service is rubbish. If a pizza is going to take 50 minutes, be upfront with the customer and tell them that. Don't say 25 minutes and then blame large orders for the delay.

Love this place and always visit each time in Kingscliff, in fact on our way there tonight!

Brilliant pizzas. You cannot come to Kingscliff and not enjoy a pizza a Galileo's!
Galileos
Banora Point Blues. Hi all..

I am the owner of Galileos Kingscliff. Dont pay too much attention to the comments of Tarzie - she is an employee of Galileos Banora Point - and the comments of KELANDCO - she is also an employee of Galileos Banora Point. Tarzie only posted her negative comments the other night after we caught her out lying to phone customers.

For some reason the Banora Point outlet feels the need to try and score points at our expense. We have a large and loyal following of locals and visitors alike - seems Banora Point would rather try and tear that down than build theirs up.

The hospitality game is tough enough in this area - fierce competition and seasonal trade makes us do our very best to maintain a good reputation. We rely on honest customer feedback in forums such as this, not the malicious untruthfulness of a business two suburbs and fifteen minutes drive away.

Tarzie has rather childishly lied about pizza price, sizing and quality. Normally we welcome all feedback - after all, it's all about you, the customer. When the feedback is only put there to try and damage our business, we must respond as we have here.

You be the judge - we are open six days a week (closed Tuesday), Boxing Day, New Years Day.
Tarzie
Was good when the original owner had it, now it's crap, and over-priced, they pass a regular off as a large, and charge more for it than the large we used to get!! sad state of affairs from the old days...i take the trip to the original and the best at Banora...go Steve... :)

Yum!. I ordered dinner here for myself, hubby and two kids twice during a week-long stay at Kingscliff Caravan Park. Service was friendly, pizzas were hot and fresh and most importantly, the kids were happy! The kids LOVED the Halley's Comet pizza (chicken, bacon, mayo, lettuce etc.) and wanted it twice in the same week haha. Hubby and I ordered a Galaxy pizza (gourmet super supreme) and a Callisto (lamb, BBQ sauce, fresh tomato & basil, fetta cheese etc.) We'll definitely be back :)

Best pizza I've ever had, definitely not one to miss if you can avoid it. The owner chris that served me is a legend, great customer service and even better food.
Sophie
Best pizza place ive ever been to! Chris, the owner, is a champ

Only has large Gluten free pizzas. I went to Galileo's after reading the great reviews & because they make gluten free pizzas. I left without trying one though as you can only get a large GF pizza which is great if you have about 3 people eating it but not if it's just for one. I found that Pizza Capers down the road offers a smaller GF option and i thoroughly enjoyed it!
Jarrod
We had pizza there, and it was the best I'd had in years. Real old fashioned pizza. I wish I could get them where I live. As Molly says "do yourself a favor"

PIZZA AT KINGSCLIFF. This pizza outlet no longer exists. Galileo's at Banora Point is open and has been operating since 2000.

Not the most appealing shop, but the best pizza ever! Wow! Love it, thanks to you guys who gave it the thumbs up, I wouldn't have known the even exist. Definitely the best pizza around side of the planet. Crust was perfect not too thin and not filling, more than generous on the toppings. Just perfect. Price does not matter when you get such quality food.
Lucy Barnes
Was OK but too expensive. We went here based on good US reviews. We thought it was OK - giving it 6/10 between ourselves... but a large pizza and a regular was $45 so far too expensive IMO.
Bomba
Now this is pizza!. Checked this place out after reading the reviews here. Food was excellent - even on a slow Monday evening - the girl behind the counter was nice - the service was quick. Dont know what that other guy is on about - every single pizza on the menu is under $15 for a regular size.

We had the Mercury Rising - we like them hot. Didn't disappoint but be warned - if you ask for HOT that is exactly what you will get..

Decor is simple - they have tables and chairs inside if you want to sit down. If you want a cheap meal in Kingscliff with exceptional quality - this is the best place we have found yet.
Melissa
Great pizza!. After reading great reviews about this place, we decided to get some takeaway pizzas. These pizzas are delicious! And the service was great - the guy running the place is very friendly and knows how to make good pizza!
Natalie Dee
Sets a new standard in fresh pizza with super crunchy base, fresh and perfectly proportioned toppings along with a very decent price. Beats anything we've had back home in brisbane by far

Has Moved. Still the same even the same menu. http://www.galileos.com.au/Galileos_Pizza_Kingscliff/Welcome.html
They have moved into a place that is opposite the Bowls Club at Kingscliff. In a previous incarnation this shop was a grocery known as Jack's.

Just finished my pizza's and can tell you they are even better than they used to be
Custard
Awesome meal fantastic and was cheap and great service!!

MS FUSSY. I Don't know what Gorjos is talking about. We come to Galileos year after year, many time during each holiday. Yes they have changed hands but they have the same staff and the food is as good as, if not better than ever. There is no pleasing some people
Gorjos
Its just not what it was. When I first moved here the pizza's were amazing, made with fresh ingredients and topped with mountains of shredded lettuce but then they started making their seafood pizza with reconstituted seafood, who wants to eat seafood extender on their pizza? it tastes like edible plastic. But they do make great iced chocolates.
