Amazing little Vietnamese restaurant in Kingsford. If you haven't guess already it's all about the "PHO" odles! This is now our favourite place for Pho in Sydney and the best thing is that it's 2 mins from home. The service is amazing, the atmosphere and the music makes it the perfect place for lunch or dinner. Once you come here you will be hooked on the delicious food!!!
Well done guys on your opening! We came on their third night - place running very smoothly.
Great service (quick and friendly), great food and at really good prices!
Had Pho and some fresh spring rolls - eyeing off the crispy chicken another table are having! :)
Will be back!
The best Vietnamese restaurant at eastern suburb and the price not to expensive fresh food and good taste
Finally a vietnamese eatery in Anzac Parade! <3
Food's excellent, great & friendly service, amazing atmosphere as well. Will come back again to try other dishes :)
Glad to see an authentic Vietnamese eatery come to KINGSFORD at last! We just enjoyed a bowl of delicious beef noodle soup and cube beef fillets with tomato rice. Definitely going to be regulars!
We're here again for the 4th time in a week lol. This eatery made me love Vietnamese food more. Fresh and tasty Vermicelli salad with crispy skin pork belly for the WIN! Reasonable price. Apart from that I left my prada sunnies on their table and the staff "Thanh" and other girl waitress kept it for me.And he is always smiling, looks friendly. Last Saturday he made my iced coffee differently because I want it blended with ice cream and he didn't make drama out of it. He fixed it. Now, that's customer service!!! Other people will make drama out of small thing or argue with customers. I am sure that everyone there work pretty hard but I mentioned him because I encountered him couple of times. I hope they'll keep up this attitude. Good start.
If i could afford to have lunch out, everyday. I'd be here.
Very nice pho, spring roll and rice paper roll
good food, good service, good stuff.
Awesome food and service!
#literallyondiet our lunch time today is so tasty that we ordered 3 meals for 2💆🏻♀️ we had 2 Pho(beef noodle soup) and vermicelli mixed to share😂 and iced coffee!! Price is good and portion is big enough for our belly. Busy place for lunches🍴
Really good food, quick and friendly staff! Such a cute atmosphere and convenient location near uni! They do takeaway in the window or table service inside.
Good place to come for Vietnamese food, even though they got my order wrong. Size of dishes are good and prices are decent. Staff are friendly and there's lots of seating.
A great place to come especially if you are a student at UNSW, my go to place during any break from class I get. I did not expect much from this place and it overdelivered especially with it's pho. After wasting my time and looking at the menu, I already knew I was going order the pho and did so. Within a 5 minutes, I got the bowl that I love and the waft of the beef broth which takes hours to make just cleared a section of my stomach. I proceeded to taste the broth, like my favourite pho at Pho PHD in Marrickville, this Pho was had that similar aromatic, sweet pho taste. Along with the broth, the noodles were a bit slippery to grip with chopsticks or even a fork but nonetheless had a great texture and absorbed the broth. Now to the meat, as with any pho, this house special had the mixture of different parts of the cow all were great and tender and go well with the little bowl of hoisin and Sriracha to dip your meat in. All in all, if avoid Matthews Food Court UNSW students cross the road or before heading to central to catch your train home come here!!
Clean, cool, quality and simple food. Like the touch and spring roll salad. Crispy and yummy. Have been here several times for working lunch, not disappointed.
Pho lovers must head to Phoodle for a bowl of their clear sweet broth, soft noodles, just right beef and generous serving of beef balls this winter. We also had a bowl of vermicelli and roast pork with a generous portion of veggies. Colourful, fresh and appetising to my eyes. And don't forget to grab the spring rolls mmmmm😫😫🤤
Have been here a few times now and Phoodle is now becoming a local favourite. Great that there's finally a good Vietnamese place in the area! They do good pho which is seriously lacking in the randwick/kingsford area. Service is good and quick and the restaurant itself has good atmosphere and is clean and comfortable. Only complaint is that they are quite frugal with their condiments (sauce, herbs, lemon). Whilst I understand it's probably to prevent waste and they are happy to provide more when asked, it can be a bit annoying especially when more than one person on the table has ordered pho.
Been here a number of times. Their food has been consistently fairly good, especially the vermicelli salad, tomato rice with shaking beef and the crispy chicken with sticky rice! Would always come back here when we are craving for comfort food. Value for money too!
Ever since I went to Vietnam (last month) I've been craving Vietnamese food! So I made sure to get my Vietnamese fix last week.
Sorry I didn't take a photo because I got too excited to dive in :p I ordered the raw beef pho and found it to be average, it wasn't as exciting as expected. Could be a result of my friend's raving about the pho. The beef broth wasn't as strong as I would have liked, the beef however was soft and retained its beefy taste. The pho was beautiful though, it was smooth and cooked to the right texture.
One thing to watch out for: go to phoodle if you don't have anymore appointments after/you want to smell of food! Because it's a small, yet well decorated, restaurant. The aromas from the open kitchen seeps into the surroundings and into my clothes and hair!
This place is pretty awesome. Good quality pho with great portions for good prices. The pho here though has a touch of sweetness which i like and tastes really balanced and good. Mixed meat platter has great flavour and easy to snack on. Combine their meals with an avocado shake and its a great lunch and comfortable place to eat.
Absolute amazing pho!! For those living near UNSW who wanna grab good pho, go to this place!
Food- special beef pho (regular size) - broth was amazing! Fresh and flavourful but not heavy on the stomach. Noodles well done as they should be and the beef was great! Only bone to pick with was that the lemon (which comes with the bean sprouts and mint leaf) was not there :(
PRICE - $14. A bit pricey for pho but not too fussed considering the quality of the noodles. AND THEY DO EFTPOS!!! Hooray! (It's a godsend for Asian establishments)
SETTING - small setting but well decorated.
Seriously delicious and so well priced!!
We had a noodle soup each, some Spring rolls and buns and everything was amazing!
Also am in love with your coconut juice and staff were super friendly! Will definitely be back again :)
Just what the area needed. Just got the tapas menu, it was generous, fresh and tasty. Staff were good and prices standard for the area. The menu has a good range and I will be going back to try more.
I was here recently to try the raw beef pho with beef balls and the iced coffee and it was a pleasing meal. The broth had a filling quality to it and a very deep flavour but still managed to have a light feel to it. The noodles were very soft and fresh. There wasn't that much beef in the dish and quite a lot of soup so that seemed a little different.
The iced coffee was also very good and it was possible to decide how much of the condensed milk to stir into the coffee. The coffee itself had a typically very strong and deeply roasted aroma which is common in the Vietnamese version.
The interior had a pleasing newish design with a lot of wood and brick being used. Service was friendly enough.
When in Kingsford you are spoilt for choice when it comes to great Asian cuisine but Phoodle would be one of my top pics!! Get a steaming hot bowl of pho for $10-$15 bucks and it's guaranteed to warm you up. The spring rolls here are some of the best I've ever tasted. It is also the perfect spot if you are solo to blend in and enjoy a quick lunch. 2 bowls of noodle soup, spring rolls, pork buns and a coffee only came to $44. Definitely a place to come back to!
Have been wanting to try this 'new' restaurant in Kingsford! Last time I tried their coffee, I had great impression already. This time I finally get to dine there, in a decent furnished environment. Ordered a house special pho and prawn & pork belly rice paper rolls, sharing with my...
Just what Kingsford needed! There's definitely a shortage of good Vietnamese restaurants in the Coogee/Randwick/Kinsford area, so I was glad that Phoodle opened. It's meant to be 'tapas style', so we though smaller portions to go with their reasonable prices. Some of the dishes were quite generous, and good value for money. It's apparent that the pho is the main draw card, as every table ordered at least one. The pho was a little smaller (which I expected) but still generous I thought. The broth was very tasty and the beef balls tasted and looked homemade. We also tried the Vietnamese pancake which had lovely prawns and pork belly inside. We also tried the stuffed squid which was also nice. Can't wait to go back so that we can try more of their dishes. :)
A Small restaurant in Kingsford near the uni. With a trendy interior (unlike most places in the area) and serving Vietnamese cuisine; which fills a hole, as there are not many Vietnamese restaurants in the area. There is a range of meals to choose from on the menu including rice paper rolls, make it yourself rolls, stir fries, Bao and soup options including Pho. They also have tea, coffee and desserts. We spoke to the owner who was nice and friendly, he informed us they will look at doing Vietnamese inspired breakfast too. we ordered pork belly Bao. We love these things, they have great texture and taste. A soft bun with a nice piece of pork belly, some crisp fresh and pickled veg.
We Both ordered soup, which were reasonably priced and were generously portioned.
My wife ordered the egg noodle soup with crispy chicken. The broth had a nice chicken flavour plenty of noodles, bok choy, cauliflower and herbs. The juicy crispy skin chicken was served on the side, yep the skin was crispy.
I ordered the dac biet(house special) pho.The Pho included beef ball(Viet meat balls), beef brisket and raw beef as the protein element. The flavoursome, well balanced beef broth was cooked for 12 hours and was filled with delicate rice noodles. On the side there was the fresh mint, bean sprouts and lemon, as well as hoisin and chilli sauce to add to your liking. Again a generous portion with great flavour, a decent Pho.
Good to see a modern looking restaurant serving quality Vietnamese food in Kingsford.
