Really enjoyed the dry pot chicken 干锅鸡 ("griddle-cooked chicken" on the menu) which is fried wings/drumettes (really juicy inside) thinly coated in a delicious spicy sauce that carries a hint of sweetness. You might know dry pot as malaxiangguo - it's a Sichuanese cooking style which can be described as hotpot minus the soup.
The mapo tofu was silky with a good amount of chilli and a kind of "smokiness" to the flavour. The firm carrots were unexpected but not a deal breaker.

My friend recommend this to me. But I feel it's just not too bad. The spicy chicken is sweat rather than spicy. But the good thing is that it's quite cheap.

So delicious, food was quick and fresh. The braised pork was amazing and so was the beans with pork, honey chicken and beef veggies. Would go again!

The worst Chinese restaurant ever. Come to the store for picking up and wait for 15 minute. Asking still how long and the waitress said 20 minute more. Waitress are not really nice and rude. Not really recommend this place.

Look no further than this shit hole! <br/><br/>And the food! Oh the food.. If the eggy plates aren’t a deal breaker.. The food is shit too. Oily, sloppy and, well, shit.<br/><br/>One star because there’s no option to rate lower.<br/>

Perfect spot for sharing with friends or family. As an individual it’s hard to order as most of the menu selection is dishes type which I’ve observed come very big portion. There’s a few selection that come with rice and single serve. Food was good tho just wish they have more variety for single diner.

Tasty Eating House in Kingsford dishes out big serves of Chinese braised goodness. Feel virtuous with a veg choice then blow your points counting with sticky sweet n sour pork ribs. There's a row of restaurants along Anzac Parade that somehow seem similar, down to the giant picture menus they give you to choose your meal from. The specialise in a mix of mostly eastern Chinese style dishes, a little more braised and heavy than lighter Cantonese fare. These dishes are filling and bounteous, great for ordering up and taking the leftovers home for another round later on. Tasty Eating House fits the bill for a big Sunday lunch, with a follow up dinner at home guaranteed.

This is my second time to have a lunch in this restaurant. The fish tasted good, and the fried Bing (forgot the name..) is very good! It seems like every dish are tasty.

Pathetic and very oily food...felt that we were eating some slimy oily stuff...ordered chicken in black pepper sauce and thai fried rice...the black pepper sauce had nothing of black pepper in it with zero taste and oily crap. The fried rice had tomatoes and was absolutely tasteless!!!<br/>Worst was to get a higher bill as compared to the menu on Zomato.

Another fantastic Sichuan restaurant in Kingsford. They have interesting system where you pay $5 minimum for spicy stir fry pot and choose additional vegetables or other ingredients at additional cost. We added a few things, chicken/tofu/lotus roots/cucumber/bamboo/mushrooms. And ordered rice and tea.<br/>The spicy pot was very delicious - We could do with more chicken other than that everything cooked in perfection and I think we chose the ingredients well. If you are ordering this dish, you must order Lotus Roots, they are excellent. We only ordered this dish and the total bill was $38 - It is okay price but compare to other Sichuan restaurants in the area, it is on the expensive side. Anyhow I did thoroughly enjoy this dish. Service was fast.

Definitely another great find in Kingsford with a lot more dishes I have to go back and try. Service was great, quick and attentive and best of all the food was very affordable and very tasty, so a name very apt.

Floating in oil. I have been a regular customer to Tasty Eating House for a couple of years but tonight I received not only terrible food but a bad attitude as well. I ordered take away and was at the restaurant within 15 mins of ordering. The shallot pancake was soaked in oil and salt and pepper squid was rubbery under cooked the batter was soft and gluey from the oil it was soaking in. When I went back to complain and showed the dish to the staff she said that she would not return my money. I had to argue for 10 mins before she reluctantly gave me a refund. Ver disappointing
