I don't know whether it's our timing or just a great day but a lot of these places are amazing in Adelaide. I know I rate a lot of these places quite high but I just have to go on what we have. (Hey I'm not a critic, just know when food is 👍or👎)
We stopped in to take advantage of the $15 burger and beer deal, on our day off. We both got the beef burger and we are still thinking about it hours later. Perfect, beef patties, seasoned well and juicy, the addition of caramelised onions just made this a perfect burger at a very nice price!! The chips were great and a very generous size not over the top which becomes a waste when you're full of delicious burger.

A good mix of traditional pub culture whilst focusing on the younger crowds with regular fun events such as Mario Kart comps, beer pong, craft beer launches etc. They also have a rewards app where you can rack up points to exchange for food/drink. Cracking stuff.
The courtyard is a favorite spot of mine to sip beers and watch the big screen on sunny afternoon. Decent place to have knock-offs on POETS day as well - they have a BBQ along with happy hour.
Staff are chatty and friendly. Couldn't say a bad word about 'em.
The food. Overall Id give it 4.5 shakabrahs out of 5. I've had some outstanding meals here, such as lamb cutlets especially paired with wines from a local winery. The kitchen really nails the basics here too, which is important for a pub. Cant say I've ever had a bad parmy, burger, pizza or fish and chips here.
Minus 0.5 because once I got knocked back for a pizza on a Friday night as they were out of bases. The great thing was the way it was handled though. Was given a parmy + sauce for no extra cost. Cant argue with that.

Love the staff because they love my little family. We go often. Because it's walking distance. Would we if it wasn't? Nope. But it is so all good.
The food if you shy away from pub fayre is good. The pork slider particularly good. I have had the salmon about 5 times and it's very good. The squid recently sucked though.
My teenagers love the desserts of course!
Wine list good. Service great.
And they have an App you collect points on to get free or discounted food and drinks. Currently a glass of Janz for $6.50. Not bad I say.
I'm a regular to the TA and I always get good friendly and reliable service. Appreciate the variety in the menu. Thoroughly recommend the TA restraunt to everyone!
Friendly service & good food. Visited TA for a quick meal before a movie. We enjoyed friendly prompt service and our food was delicious. Our meals arrived so quick we had time for a cheeky dessert (see photo). Definately recommend TA we will be visiting again real soon.
This is my new regular, I've been 4 times since December 2013 and have yet to have a bad meal. I live closer to the Belair, or the Ed, and would choose the TA hands down. The food had always been spot in, and arrived in prompt time and the staff are all friendly and attentive. The negative reviews have me baffled as my experience of the pub has been positive.
Love the upgrade, and orders taken via iPad. Good if a little over attentive service, food and drinks just fine, we will def go back.

Torrens Arms Hotel has certainly had a posh face lift. Very posh. There's the front bar and a few cocktail tables for those who are here just for a drink, then there's the dining tables and going up the steps is a "private" area with a fireplace set for chilling out with cocktails but you can certainly have your meals there too. Outside there's a lovely beer garden perfect for those Friday night drinks with mates.
Tasteful metro hotel with a great selection of food and wine,l with table service. Pleasant decor with contemporary art and fireplace in the Dining Room and a casual dining area in the upper area. Gaming room to enjoy
Although I've never won the front bar raffle, the TA has always been a "winner". Love the vibe and the meals. The bottle shop might be small but it punches above its weight, with a variety of wines from small producers that you don't often see. If I want something a bit different, it's my "go to". Great pub classics on the menu, it's perfect for a meal before seeing a movie. Definitely recommend the TA
Nice clean gaming room. Friendly staff. Would be nice to see some older style machines in there, as they now all seem the same.
Friendly staff, good service, beautiful settings inside and out. Very helpful with setting up your own projects. Good coffee and foods.
Great atmosphere at this lovely family oriented pub! We were a large group booking and all enjoyed our meals served by extra friendly and helpful staff. This made for a lovely dining experience!
We look forward to visiting again one day.
