Review The Botanist - Kirribilli

It was our first time at The Botanist and although we did not have any expectations other than the usual 'Food must be good' but our experience was out of this world. Each dish was well presented and delicious. The service was swift and always with a smile. We will definitely be back and recommend this to anyone who is looking for something unique. The Botanist is a hidden gem, go and check it out.

Love the vibe of this place, we went during late lunch. Like about 3 plus PM and there was a live singer on “stage” that really made the whole dining experience special. The food was also great. Recommended

Really nice atmosphere and decor, and the staff are lovely! We got the banquet and the food was amazing.

A lovely atmosphere and fantastic cocktails and food. The staff were lovely and attentive all night. We had the sliders which were delicious and the grilled chicken as a main, and tried both the raspberry tiramisu and the orange blossom panna cotta for dessert. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

The food is amazing. We had the $55 set menu. Great value for money and the Sangria jugs are awesome.

Excellent food, drinks and atmosphere for a celebration with a group of 9 friends. The “buffet” menu was excellent value. Great service. We really appreciated the way the chef catered beautifully for one of the group who is vegan. Highly recommended.

I keep coming back to The Botanist for lunches and dinners because the food is divine and atmosphere perfect. A cozy place with a great vibe ideal for conversation with friends. I love the latest winter menu - it caters to all tastes and has a consistency of quality I've come to expect from The Botanist. All this combined with attentive service. Thanks guys. Food was incredible. Highly recommend the chilli garlic king prawns and ocean trout. All the food we had was excellent. Service was very friendly and atmosphere was spot on. Great venue and great value. If I was to find any fault it would be a minor point which was having the same plates throughout the meal, after eating prawns I’d prefer to have clean plates but only a small issue - it certainly wouldn’t stop me from coming back again!

Loved our dinner & drinks at the Botanist, the baked feta and salt & vinegar zucchini fries were to die for and the cocktails were the best I've had in the North Shore. Also Bella who looked after us was a lil' LEGEND. Will be going back!

Fantastic food and ambience. The waitress Matisse was amazing and looked after us like gold! Just needs more light so I can see the menu, however just the taste was great so perhaps not.

We had such a great time at The Botanist yesterday celebrating a Hens Day. We were extremely well looked after with our waitress Bella who was super helpful, full of energy and very humorous. She made our day even better, she is wonderful at her job!!! We also had amazing food which came out hot and tasted delicious. Will definately be returning!

Just wanted to say thanks again for accommodating our big group again this year and for the excellent food and service on Wednesday evening. Michael and his colleagues looked after us very well and did an awesome job. Please pass on our thanks. Food was great too. We will be back again – same day next year!! 😊 (And without 20 people in-tow before that!) Ps - we also asked or the music to be turned down a bit when we first arrived as the acoustics are not fabulous in there and that's a challenge for a large table, and the team were very accommodating.

Great ambiance, friendly staff, great cocktails, nice food, quirky edge. I really like this place. Did have one issue though. I booked half a "share" table for a work function and expected to stay as long as we liked, eating and celebrating with cocktails. But we got the boot after 3 hours because they work on rolling bookings, which I didn't know when I booked. Be aware you can only stay a set time, determined by them, before they give your table to someone else. Luckily there was a pub next door we could move to and spend the rest of the evening at.

We passed the glaring lights of the Kirribilli Hotel saying 'wouldn't it be fabulous to find a secret doorway to somewhere completely different...?' and there you were. Beautiful staff and service, incredible food and cocktails, amazing music and ambience. Can't wait to come back. My new favourite �

This is a very cosy place. Great food, nice variety of alcohol. Staff friendly. I will go again for a fun night out a place to go.

Really fun place. Very busy and hadn't booked but they managed to get us a bar table. Good sharing menu, sliders were delicious. Didn't try the mains but they looked great. Fun atmosphere.
