Review Fidel - Kirribilli

Restaurant came highly recommended. Weekly menu changes and unfortunately the menu we had did not live up to expectation. Portion size were small, very ordinary flavours, small room so not much of privacy for conversations. Quite disappointed.

Boutique restaurant in Kirribilli offering weekly set menu using seasonal ingredients. Fairly reasonable set price $45 for 3 courses. Interesting fusion flavour.

Found it after date night at Luna Park. Really good, I loved it. Don't normally eat French style food.

A small simply furnished space. Welcoming wait staff. Joyful food with delightful complexity created with intelligence and passion. Just a great food experience in an unpretentious atmosphere. Very good value for the high standard you receive. Well done Fidel and staff.

For the main course I had the fish with a mussel and 4 white clams, and for dessert I had the pineapple crumble. Both were delicious, but this is the first time I have walked out of a restaurant hungry. The portions were ridiculously small. I won’t be going back again. For $50 per head (for 2 courses and a side of snow peas) , I could go to another restaurant and have a sufficient amount to eat.

Always amazing food, continually surprised by how delicious the menu is each time - and the creativity to change it weekly! BYO is great, and very understanding of allergies, my girlfriend is coeliac and they were all over it. Looking forward to the next meal here!

This restaurant is exceptional. A truely fantastic gastronomic experience. Very small menu, that changes weekly I believe. We had pretty much everything on it (two of us) and every course was outstanding in conception and execution. Great little gem of a place simply and tastefully decorated and furnished. Can not wait to return again. Must try, absolutely the best in Kirribilli...

Absolutely loved this restaurant when we came in, we were greeted very warmly and the food was amazing.The only thing that really put us off was that at about 9.10 the music got turned off via a very harsh malfunction in the speakers and at 9.15 we were asked to leave when we had not even finished our bottle of wine... wanted to say something on the spot but only the waitress remained and I think it's not her decision. Would definitely come back for the food and most of nights' ambiance but it was just very disappointing that on a night we were celebrating something we were asked to leave at a time (at least) we thought was very early..
