Review Kay Geez Cafe - Kogarah

Lovely little cafe to get out of the cold and enjoy a cup of tea and spinach & feta wrap. Friendly, efficient service. Lots to choose from for a snack or a meal. Close to St George Hospital and Kogarah Private Hospital Day Surgery.

Lovely little cafe in heart of Kogarah. Great and friendly staff. Great coffee especially if you like White Horse Coffee. I cannot wait to try food items some day but for now loving the cappuccino’s!

Exceptionally friendly, professional staff serving the best coffee compared to anywhere!. The food here is also top notch for quality and freshness, portion size and presentation with superior attention to detail. Quite frankly the best breakfast, lunch, coffee and snacks cafe in the St George district. I wish them continued success.

Quirky and vintage decor with the personal touch of family portraits on the wall. Great drinks. Lovely service. Food is good, but can be better.

Tried the tapsilog, which consists of beef slices, rice, and fried egg. Garlic rice would have been the perfect for tapsilog as it brings out for flavour. 3/5

The sweet pancakes are fulfilling. They are served with Nutella, fresh banana, and marshmallow. I’m glad the waitress offers us extra syrup on the side as we decide to skip the marshmallow. If only the pancakes are more fluffy and less salty.2.5/5

Beef burger with chips. My partner is overly excited about this as he loves burgers. Such a shame that the meat patty turns out to be pre-made. It tastes like the cheap patty versions in supermarket. There’s some gamey taste of lamb. So I’m not so sure if it’s 100% beef. I don’t think making a fresh beef patty is that difficult. 2/5

Pumpkin salad is simple and delicious. Pumpkin, rocket salad, feta cheese, tomato, nuts, and balsamic vinegar. Yumm 4/5

Great food, great service! First time at Kay Geez today. I had the kale & chickpea patty with the brown rice & pomegranate salad. Both delicious & didn’t need extra dressing as I thought they might. Super healthy tasty food, really friendly service too. :-)

It's really decent cafe with a lot of variety. Good salad and wrap options. It's generally busy during the lunch time rush hour. Staff is pleasant. Have tried a couple of the vegetarian salads and the falafel wrap

Good enough cafe that we've been to a number of times. Baked goods and breakfast and lunch foods are solid. Coffees are well done and the baristas are pleasant, as are the other staff. Pricing is competitive. Kay Geez is neither too noisy nor too forbidding, with a warm atmosphere and an ambience conducive to drinking/dining/doing whatever on your own or with others.

Very good barista and the staff are always friendly and happy. Coffees are lovely and don't have to wait long. Great specials, interesting menu and plenty of healthy options.
