Review Dougies Grill - Kogarah

This place has absolutely NO customer service. The guy doesn't seem too happy to serve customers. Worst attitude. He doesn't even wash hands or wear gloves when preparing food. Disgusting. They have all aircon turned off, it's extremely hot during summer, no one wants to dine in. Food menu is nothing like the Hurstville store. Looks like a cheap version with crappy atmosphere. Burger does not taste fresh. Chips taste sour and not cooked properly. I purchased a Groupon to try out the place. Extremely disappointed. No going to visit again. I doubt they'll get many returning customers after this summer.

i have tried the burger meal. its dry so i have to pay for souce for the chips as extra. the bun is broken from the top. Am i going back to try the food again? i don't think so.

Worst burger I have ever had. Never knew it could made so bad.The beef burger tasted like rubbish. No taste and bland as. I won't eat here if I was starving. To try this place would be better on throwing your money down the drain. Maybe more time on making better burgers and less time feeding the pigeon's

One word to describe this place is DISGUSTING. A 1 star rating is too good of a rating to give. Food delivered was cold and chicken was raw. I paid 45 dollars for a family meal. The meal I ordered had a picture advertised of the meal and what I got was completely different to what was in the picture. When I called to complain and ask for the missing pickles and salad, I was spoken to on a rude manner and I was told that salad and pickles don't come with this meal and of I wanted it I would need to pay for it and include it separately in my order. When I queationed why the picture advertised showed salad and pickles I was told that its not their problem that the picture differs from what they sent. I am appalled and disgusted at the response I received. The whole lunch bag went into the bin as is and it was a huge waste of money. I wouldn't even feed the food I received to my dog that's how bad it looked. This place should seriously be shut down and banned from ever selling food to the public.

I used to go Dougie's Grill Hurstville and I found this shop a week a go. When I went there, I expected no less than the same quality foods and services like Hurstville brunch, however, these guys were awful. It was around 2pm that I ordered a dougie's chicken burger meal (large size) with extra chilli and mentioned to had it in shop. The meal took more than 10 minutes and came with take away box and the chip they provided was quite a small amount and cold already, there's a guy reminding to lady cook for extra chilli while my burger was cooking, but no chilli in my burger at all yet it was watery inside and disgusting taste. I asked for a small potion of dougie sauce for chips and paid with eftpos and they charged me extra 50 cents without mentioned it (same guy reminding for extra chilli to cook). No wonder this shop is quiet, and I saw some customers were receiving the same services while I am eating my burger, so it wasn't just my random luck to had a bad experience for sure. Seriously, I enjoyed nothing but upset. It won't be a big deal just for a burger meal for the first time customer, but I am a regular customer of the Dougie Grill so it does matter to me and I gave no star for this shop.

I'm easily pleased. But this was so bad that I'd rather eat MacDonald's. Let me explain. Walked in their late night and no one else in the place. Ordered a beef burger and a chicken burger. Beef was still raw inside. Both were sloppily put together. Not everything as described in menu in the burgers. Chips were unreal, but doesn't make up for it. Not even top service. You'd think they'd have time to put care into it with no other customers around. Someone that calls me brother wouldn't treat my food this way. The worst. Don't waste your money.

utterly disgusting. I got a cockroach in my burger between the lettuce. Then gave us a free one to shut us up. the chef is in thongs, and a totally unprofessional. This place is giving DOUGIES a bad reputation. Dougies elsewhere is amazing.

When I went there, the cook was so rude. The assistant didn't even say hello. Just stared at me. Before I even placed my order, the cook basically yelled and said 20 minutes notice is required, I don't think he was ready and I think I was the first customer. The shop assistant had extremely dirty nails. I had purchased a Groupon, and everything they advertised in the Groupon was incorrect and at the actual store nothing that was mentioned in the groupon was available.

Ordering a great chicken burger meal! Awesome customer service and really friendly! Get the chili and the Dougie sauce.<br/><br/>Don't be a Sophie Monk and get a veggie burger, their meat is awesome!

Fantastic customer service. Great value meals. Delicious chicken ribs, chicken burger and chips. Would definitely have it again. Nice and clean fast food restaurant. Would bring the whole family a for an affordable meal.

Disgusting. Found hair in burger. Not worth my time to dispute against. <br/><br/>Came here with a scoopon voucher $9 but only saved like $3 if i paid normally. Chose the dougie burger, chips and soft drink. Standard chicken burger. Chips were really nice, good chicken salt. Friendly service and location. But make sure you wear hair nets or something. Dont recommend, but come for the chips.

Nice great food , worth of money  , nice friendly person & plus they are doing great job ...! worth of money and worth of food as compare around the area , not a rip off at all , like other restaurants ....! afresh healthy food and doing great customer services

I noticed this little place when I was shopping around in Kogarah for Indian groceries. I was famished, so I headed in! <br/><br/>This place does have some seating inside, and has an overall nice feel (although it looks a bit rough around the edges). I ordered a Falafel Wrappa, which did take a while to arrive. As a bonus, the friendly guy there even served me some chips! A nice little gesture, I must say! The wrap tasted really good, as did the chips!<br/><br/>This place is quite pocket-friendly as well, I must say. Go for it, I surely will again! <br/><br/>Food - 4/5<br/>Ambiance - 3/5<br/>Service - 4.5/5<br/>Value for money - 4.5/5<br/>Overall - 4/5

The Portuguese chicken burger is better than oportos. Meals were fresh, good portion sized and great flavors. The owners were polite and pointed us to the best seats.
