The place looked closed and may aswell have been.. literally only 2 people there, it was dead quiet. They do not do any food service at all and it smells like a musty old attic.
Really unfriendly place, we felt like we weren't welcome. We should have left, but we stayed for dinner and the food was SO bad. "Steak Burger": couldn't even bite through it! In 16 years it's the first time my husband has left food in his plate when eating out!
The lady didn't want to serve is. No hello or anything. Rude. The food tasted ok but don't use the salt and pepper shakers that she pulls out of her jumper to hand to you
Nice old hotel however incredibly poor food. The chicken parmi was clearly straight from the freezer and was that cheap ground up chicken meat. Salad was average. Expect more for a pub.
