Kangazims Cafe is a sidewalk café in Kuranda. It's basic, clean, and Australian. The beef pie was well prepared with a flaky crust and meaty interior. The included gravy was very good. We had calamari & chips, veggie burger and strawberry smoothie. Food and smoothie were very very tasty and fresh. Not pricy at all. Excellent place to eat. Would highly recommend!
The tomato soup that was supposedly on special and home made was a cheap ketchup style mash of tomatoes similar to those under Heinz or Campbell brands. Just note that they are the holders of the lowest rating on the block. That should be telling you something. Unfortunately, we haven't checked that

Easy to locate place on the corner street. Good selection of food on the menu. The burger was good but the salad was a bit simple, but then again, was slightly cheaper than other places in Kuranda.
