What a lovely place to stop and rest, take in the view of the surrounding hills and the weir :) walking up the lovely little path in to the cafe you see lots of lil trinkets, rustic glittery things shining bright, preparing you for the welcoming smiles coming to serve you oh so nice
Well the food what can I say it was abundant in portion fresh and made instantly to your liking take a look at the pics YUMM!

They have a BIG Ice cream bar lots of favorite flavors something for everyone, I could not possibly fit one in after lunch but I do intend on coming back just for a ice cream and a lil chit chat with the owner and workers.
The store is cutely and quaintly done with lots of nice verses and precious gems lots of lil things to catch your eye.
Quiet, quaint Cafe. Filled me with feelings of peace and happiness. It's not far of the bank on Hume Weir. We enjoyed icecream after a lunch in Town. It was a beautiful day and the short 10min drive there, capped off our afternoon perfectly. We had a nice stroll over the Weir wall. Cafe was my 'happy little place'.

My kids and I had a great experience popping in for a quick bite to eat for lunch and an ice cream. Staff were all friendly and I really love the new welcoming decor. This is also an excellent place for the kids as they have a playground to keep them entertained.
This cafe has always been a popular icon of the Hume Weir. Out the front there is off-road parking with some shaded areas.
An inviting garden path guides you to the side entrance. Friendly staff greeted us and took our lunch order. Our lunch was cooked fast, presented well and tasted great. The real treat there is the ice-cream servery. Plenty of flavours to choose from. The outdoor dining area is quaint and shaded with gorgeous views of the mountains and Lake. There is a kids playground nearby as well. I highly recommend Lake Vue Cafe.
