We came here every day for 10 days... needless to say we enjoyed it
The owner is always having banter with customers & it's a bustling little shop
I recommend getting the King Cone but ask for it in a boat.
Best flavours were Ferrero, Dark Choc, Lamington, & Rum & Raisin.
Nice couches inside to sit & enjoy.
The prices (and posters) haven't changed for the past 20yrs.
Gluten free flavors are indicated
Visiting family up lakes entrance and we went for a walk stumbled upon this ice cream shop, bit of a line but we waited staff were super friendly and the ice cream was amazing..banana ice cream was amazing I will be back when it's warm to get more ice cream
Absolutely awesome, all five of my family said best milkshakes, thick shakes ever had and great flavour selection of ice creams, seven day stay visited everyday and girls serving us even though were young a true professionals at their job, I think a lot of the local employers should come and watch you work so they could get the same quality in their service
The ice cream is awesome, made in house from local milk. I had black chocolate, it was a dark chocolate lovers dream. Chatty owner who was super friendly. It was clean and inviting with lots of interesting flavours like jam donut!
Fast, friendly service. Well priced. Great selection of flavours - the black chocolate was surprisingly good, and is recommended (it would lend itself well to the addition of chilli)
Have been going here for many years (lots of summer hols at Lakes). As my waistline demonstrates, it's the best ice-cream I have had anywhere. Locally produced too. Excellent.
Went for a road trip down to Lakes Entrance over the Xmas weekend. It was a super hot day and I'm glad I saw this ice cream shop. There were plenty of flavours to choose from and I had the Ferraro Rocher ice cream..which tasted good!! Not overly sweet and perfect for summer! 😍🍦🍦🍦👌
A great place to stop by on a holiday. The shop is very clean and tidy and the customer service is great. We had a girl serve us who was very chirpy and looked like she enjoyed and cared about working there which was excellent to see! We tried a sorbet (no dairy) which was 85% cocoa and (obviously) water based. It was called 'black choc' and tasted like a rich dark chocolate. It is a must for dark chocolate lovers and dairy-intolerant people! Definitely recommended!!
OPENING HOURS- Usaully about 10am or 12am
CLOSING HOURS- Usaully about 6pm or 8pm
I had 2 scoops black chocolate and coffee fudge - best ice cream ever and the sweetest smiling server was as delightful as the ice cream - great store beautifully presented with old favourite flavours and innovative ones too - highly recommend the 85% black chocolate
Friendly staff, great size serves and tasty ice cream. Might get expensive for two adults and two children though
Chunky made-there ice cream. Ice cream cones at a beach town on a hot day -- how good is that?!? I’ll always go for a place that makes its own stuff, and Riviera says it uses organic milk, so double good on ‘em for that. I like busy ice cream with lots of stuff in it, so I went for a two-scooper honey crunch -- like an Aero bar chunkily chopped into it -- and Bounty flavour -- chocolate and coconut in vanilla ice cream. The Bounty scoop was particularly good. It’s hard to stuff up anything that has chokkie and cokie in it, eh? I’m still more partial to Italian gelato in Melbourne, and the best beach-side ice cream I’ve had was from a place called Ed’s near Lake Ontario in Toronto, Canada. But if you’re looking for a freezy treat in Lake’s Entrance, I reckon there’s none better than Riviera.
Wow, Flatout, over 32 different flavours of icecreams, it was so busy, but the organised owners were very sufficient as to serving everyone with barely any wait time. A long day at the beach an ice cream is a must. It is a must do in Lake entrance. Been a thing to do for as long as I can remember. It was to shut at 6pm and when I drove past at 7.30 still alot of people and busy. I loved the blood orange yummy. Lovely people. Great job guys
This is a charming little ice cream shop, with lots of variety and friendly staff. Went for a milkshake over ice cream, and wasn't disappointed
The dairy-free chocolate ice-cream was absolutely scrumptious, and beautiful service by the lovely Kirsty. See you again soon!
