Absolute best pizza in Victoria! Best service and most friendly staff. Can't recommend this high enough.

Best aussie pizza of the northern suburbs, nothing more, nothing less, the toppings are plentiful and always fresh, the dough is hit and miss but overall still kicks off a great Monday night on the couch.
Classic pizza taste, a little up and down at times but by far the Best place for take away pizza in the northern suburbs , been going for years
Hands down my favourite pizza in Melbourne! It’s just a small family-run looking place, but don’t judge it till you’ve tried it. Do yourself a favour and order the Macedonian special!
Ginos pizza is my go to pizza shop 🍕
My favourite is the Sirianni pizza I also love their pasta. Even though a little bit higher in price than places such as Greenbrook, Ginos pizza delivers on taste and quality 👌🏻 would definitely recommend!

What can I say about Ginos Pizza they deliver the most amazing Steve special and Macedonian special I've ever tasted. The only problem is that they don't deliver
only the best pizza I've ever tasted, the macedonian and steve special are my favourites. Always prompt and on time and they have never disappointed! the only thing I'd ask is to add delivery to their service We are loyal and regular customers and will always be coming back for more. The staff are really friendly and always greet us with a smile. considering there are something like 50 pizza choices in the area, will always come back to Ginos!
Upon hearing Gino's was taken over by a new owner I decided to pop in. I was greeted warmly and the service was great!
My pizza was awesome. It had a mountain of quality toppings and the base was deliciously crunchy and cooked well.
For anyone who was turned off by the last owners, give it another chance. This place is a historic icon! It will always be the first pizza restaurant in the North and now thanks to the lovely new owners, it's once again the best.
Fantastic! Went there with a few friends,, everyone ordered a different pizza, and everyone was very happy with it. Great crust, not oily or dry, thin and crispy, and the toppings were very good. The service was really good, the staff were friendly, courteous and very attentive. My new favourite pizza place!
I went to Gino's last night with my husband & parent in-laws. My husband recommended Gino's from awhile ago however after reading all of the negative responses on here I was worried we weren't going to have a good experience.... HOW I WAS WRONG! The service was great! The Pizzas were perfect with lot's of topping (and cooked perfect) My mother in-law enjoyed her tasty pasta & WOW my Parma was Awesome & the serving was huge.
My parents always said if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all.
We all enjoyed our experience at Gino's and I recommend it as a great family restaurant!

Heavy on the toppings. I had a hankering for pizza after a 12-hour day on the psycho ward at The Northern looking after a schizophrenic who had ripped one of her eyeballs out in a frenzy of madness. I'm a sick bastard that way. Gino's seemed to be doing the best business along the Lalor/Thomastown strip of High Street, better than the Muslim joints (Yassim's and Nacool) or the chain (Dial a Mr. Pizza). The Indian spot (Much A Mor'e) was hopping too, but given a choice, I'll go for a spot that comes off as Italian.
This stretch of High Street must be Macedonian Central for the Melbourne area (S.M. Restaurant and the "opening soon" Ohrid). So when I saw that Gino's had a Macedonian pizza, I had to order that. It had a TONNE of stringy ham on it, the kind that adorns Aussie pizzas. There was also hot salami, mushrooms and spicy green banana peppers. I don't know how Macedonian that combo is, but I liked the fact that it was stacked high with toppings. Like most pizzas in Australia, there was minimal mozzarella. The crust was on the thin side, had some nice crunch at the edge, but it wasn't the crispy crackery Neapolitan style. At $18 for a large, it's not cheap, but I've paid more for smaller pizzas at fancy sit-down places in Melbourne, so I'm not fussed. Gino's pizzistas cranked it out fast for me, and the guy with the moustache (Sam?) jived me about my American accent in a friendly way, so I'm not knocking the customer service.

Excellent Pasta!. I was in Epping and tried to find a place for dinner around 9PM on a weeknight...was out of luck. Drove down High St and found this place, was still open and would cook if we ordered right away. I had the Gnocchi Carbonara which is risky sometimes (usually warm runny cream) and was presently surprised it was a tasty, creamy-cheese sauce with egg and short bacon. Tried my other friends two pastas and they were great. Venue was typical suburban pizzeria but the staff were nice and the booths in the back were comfortable. Great find, will be returning.

Awesomeness. Please. It's called Gino's Pizza and and the bloke who runs it has an enormous mustache. You know you're in safe hands when you walk in. Expensive, but worth the larger price, high quality food, if you get a meatlovers, it will probably give you the farts
The best pizza. Been going here for about 10 years, has been around since I moved into Lalor, years go. It is still the best Pizza in the Northern Suburbs. Never oily or dry, great toppings, fresh and clean. And the Macedonian has plenty of garlic!

Although I did not physically experience the restaurant, I used 'Gino's Pizza's' home delivery service, duration time was 50 minutes (standard delivery time). It was well worth the wait! The smell of Italian cuisine and taste that infused and dominated everyone's mouth was beautiful! I order gnocchi with bolognese sauce, and I licked my plate clean. Beautiful!
Gino's is the closest to traditional Italian pizza that I've found in Melbourne.
Good honest food, not just pizza but also a sit down bistro out the back, no frills just a good home cooked meal, pizzas are also very good, good family eatery

I went to Gino’s Pizza Restaurant - Lalor with boyfriend on Sunday 2nd July 2022 and we ordered the Gino’s Pizza with Garlic bread. We were served by friendly staff that make excellent pizza/garlic bread and we cannot wait to return again. They have been around for 50 years. Highly recommend.
Excellent pizza. Fresh and hot, with a well cooked base, generous toppings, full of flavor and tasted amazing. I've been back a couple of times now and without doubt this is the best pizza I've had in a long time. And, great customer service, too. Awesome job guys. All the best 👏👏

The Macedonian special with pineapple was next level amazing. I love chilli and heat … this was the perfect balance of heat and flavour.

Friendly staff and not bad pizza menu. Pizza is a hard one to judge lately. Ginas definitely gets 4 stars. For well trained staff and a good selection and not bad but salty pizza. Thanks again. Btw parking van be be challenging at peak times.
