Lovely dog friendly setting. Fire place inside. Ordered dinner on the way through, were not disappointed! I have dietary requirements which makes me request changes to my meals, so often my order comes out wrong or underwhelming. This chef totally got it right. And the caesar salad, so si.ple yet so often done badly, was so fresh , tasty and the egg was spot on! Will return!

Me and my partner came here for dinner and drinks. We were blown away because the atmosphere was on point. The music was our kind, the staff were super friendly, the sunset was magical and the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the salt and pepper squid - yummy! A pizza which was đŸ€€ And the fisherman’s basket tasted fresh with a lovely crunch. Thank you for making our night that extra special :)) we will be back soon

My husband and I celebrated our wedding Anniversary here. Thankyou to Kat and Rachel who were so helpful and friendly!! The meals were awesome, views were unbelievable. Thankyou both for making our anniversary special, and also the following day that made our trip to Lancelin a great memory. Will definitely be back again hopefully soon 👌👍😊😊

Always love coming to The Endeavour Tavern. Such an icon in WA. Great food + atmosphere for the WA Day long weekend!

We were travelling from Perth to Jurien Bay and this was a good place to stop off for lunch (as recommended by our son-in-law). It was surprisingly busy, presumably with people who had been using their 4WD vehicles on the sand dunes. The view from the garden is great! There's plenty of seating and a good menu. The food arrived very quickly and I can highly recommend the burgers 🍔

$13 for a mid strength when it was clearly advertised as happy hour and pints for $8.50 plus miserable pony tailed old bloke behind the bar had a serious chip on his shoulder about my mask being pulled about 10mm from my face to enable him to hear me while I ordered. Food was good but will not be rushing back.

My wife and I went there on a Thursday night. Good food as we had the fisherman’s platter and drink was ok and great sunset. Went Friday night and I had the surf and turf which was medium to well done apparently but it was dried out and hard to eat. Salad was awesome with it.

Service here was appalling. Arrived for a quick lunch just before 2pm and the two waitresses behind the bar made it very clear they weren’t happy we were there and very rudely informed us (without so much as a hello) “the kitchen closes at 2pm so you better order now - as in RIGHT NOW”. We ordered quickly and someone in our group asked if she wanted our name for the order - without looking up she replied very rudely “I GAVE you a buzzer didn’t I?”. Such a shockingly bad attitude for no good reason as we were being nothing but polite. Would have given one star but the beef burger was actually pretty good and the views of the ocean were just lovely sitting outside. Management here seriously needs to take a good hard look at their staff’s attitude.

Food not too bad but the food service is absolutely appalling! The 6pm food staff were extremely rude and unhelpful to our party from taking our orders to collecting the food.

Food wasn't bad but definitely on the expensive side for what you get. Staff are friendly and service was good. Would I come back yes it wouldn't go out of my way. There are cheaper options in Lancelin.

Well the beer garden is great for a sunny day - a windbreak could really help but the lawn by the beach is very nice, popular with families and even had music playing on a Saturday afternoon. The rest of the tavern’s fairly ordinary, so I wouldn’t bother in bad weather. Food’s standard pub food - fish and chips were pretty good, both very crispy - but at very high prices (so is the beer, $10 for a schooner) and they only take cash.

Was here about a month ago for lunch and found bar service pretty poor and meals nothing to write home about. Back again and bar staff are yet to improve. Service is extremely slow even when bar is quiet and then red wine served in cold glasses. Waited at least 40 minutes for table to be cleared after a very lack luster pizza and then decided to share a reef n beef thinking that the extra $10 being charged for the prawns would exceed 4! Nearly $50 for a pub steak is ludicrous. The view is fantastic and it is popular with the day trippers which gives this place more popularity than deserved

It's all about the location! Stunning views of the beach and a wonderful beer garden for soaking up the sun. The food is very average pub grub; greasy, overpriced, under-seasoned and boring. The staff were very friendly though, and the service was reasonably quick. I'd go back for a drink but not for food.
Dogs Around Perth
Endeavour Taven Lancelin is located just a few minutes drive from the main town centre and overlooks the Indian Ocean with 180 degree views of Lancelin's beautiful white beaches and sand dunes. Lancelin is the perfect location for a day trip or short stay being just over an hours drive from Perth. Your dog is welcome to join you (on a leash) in the beer garden area. You can enter from the car park via the side of the tavern to the beer garden that overlooks the beach. There are several wooden picnic style tables with shade umbrellas. You can tie up your dog around the tables so they can sit in the shade underneath.

Truth be known, all the rating comes from the location, location, location! This place claims to be the best beer garden in Australia and I think it probably is. We arrived in time for sunset and enjoyed a balmy hour or two with a meal and a mojito. We also had food but it was largely unremarkable and over priced. The boys shared a seafood basket and a kids chicken nugget basket. He had a pepper steak sandwich and I had a warm beef and noodle salad. The seafood and chippies are frozen and the salad was more noodles and lettuce than beef. The steak sandwich was the most satisfying meal but it's hard to get that wrong. Even the beer he had was flat. Would I go again? Of course! It's the best beer garden in Australia! Where else would you be on Australia Day?

Not a great experience here tonight. Canonara sauce was reheated & split, parma was probably frozen then cooked with a salad that consisted of one tomato wedge & the pizza was frozen and tecooked wuth a soggy base. Drinks were on the expensive side & bar staff were not the best at customer service. Fabulous location & garden area even for the kids.

Average. While the views are amazing, the service or food of this restaurant dont quite follow. The food takes a while to come out and its only average food served on your plate. Not really presented that great and if you want to "add an extra" or take something off your meal it doesn't necessarily happen. Being in such a nice town with one of the best views it could do with a little better service and possibly the ordering of food could be open alot longer than those few hrs.

I can't decide to vote for or against this place, for several reasons. Positives: beautiful location with stunning views from the beer garden, great service, and the food is cooked well (not over or undercooked). Negatives: seafood basket uses frozen and processed seafood (for the price I would expect at the least a piece of fresh fish). A lot of the other dishes I saw looked great, but for a fishing town I'd expect half decent seafood. Would recommend to friends, but hope my comments are noted by management and the seafood dishes are stepped up a notch

Food was a bit cold and lacking in taste. The only people reasonably happy with their meal were hubby who had the chicken parma and kids who had the squid rings. My pesto linguine with chicken was ho hum, dad had fish and chips and mum had garlic prawns, also could give them a miss. Shame, as it's an amazing venue
Also, not sure about the pizza. While we were ordering we watched a girl near the kitchen ripping open the plastic wrap from a mountain of pizzas, presumably for the dinner rush

Disappointing Food.. Left very disappointed by the 'Buffalo Wings' and the famous 'Endeavour Burger'. Wings were listed as a main - about 8 Steggles Wing Things, Salty, served with chips and sour cream with sweet chilli sauce. Burger was comparable to something you'd find at a shonky lunch bar or the royal show - Tiptop bun and a supermarket patty with the lot.

Expected good quality pub food for the prices ($22 burger). Got my hopes up for nothing.

Will not return. Lucky the view was good.

A bit pricey, but worth it!. We stopped by this pub last week on our way down to Perth from the pinnacles.
Upon entering we weren't sure what to expect. As a warning: you need photo ID to enter, even if you're just eating there. We had ours anyways luckily, as the brash but friendly lady taking orders asked each of us for ID first thing.
The menu is pretty decent. They have all the typical pub foods: fish and chips, burgers, chicken parmi (28$), etc. as well as pizza specials for lunch. If the price is a problem you can always opt for the more reasonable wedges(12$), which are still a decent serving. I opted for Garlic Prawns, and the price (28$) made me a bit uneasy.
But when the food arrived, it was well worth it. The portion sizing of my meal was very generous and the garlic sauce was delicious! The garnish went well with the flavours and the rice was... well, as good as plain rice in delicious sauce can be.
If you eat here, be sure to sit out back. The back of the tavern overlooks the ocean and has a nice grassy area.
Still Hungry
I have been going to this tavern for many years, we live in perth so it's always a great trip. The other day I ordered fish and chips and was totally disappointed! Management obviously don't care about repeat business because my meal was the size of a kiddies meal! Unfortunately I will not be going back there again, thanks for the memories (not)

Two rice dishes on specials but no rice available. Staff didn't come down to tell the two people in our party that the rice was unavailable just threw out a basket of chips instead. Nachos also on special and were ordered by us and took the staff 20minutes to tell us they were also unavailable, the same happened with a drink special. Sauces with the carbonaras were very oily and same sauce was used in garlic prawns dish. Overall 5 out of 6 meals were poor. Food took 45mins to come out and staff were unapologetic about all the changes to the menu. Would not recommend the establishment for food.

Had the soup of the day for lunch. It was home made full of fresh veggies and delicious.

Simply the worst rice I've ever had. Wet rice ruined my prawns. Would have otherwise been a great a great meal

This place never fails to disappoint me with the views and nice cold drinks, but sadly the food is consistently average, sometimes poor. Last visit I tried the mixed grill. Pretty typical pub grub, just not well cooked, and for $35 you'd hope for a slightly better cut of meat. Apparently the pesto pasta was great though. Overall come for a look and a drink, just don't hope for dining nirvana.

Loved this place !! Although it was raining the views were lovely .. We had an indoor ocean view. We even spotted some dolphins passing by (made my day) its an old style pub (reminded me of uk) ok now food ! I had cheese burger & chips, although nice the bun could of been a little better & presentation but flavor 10 out if 10. My hubby had chicken parm with chips & salad I was really jealous as it looked fab & tasted great! Great place recommend it of your passing by

Dont judge a place by its look. Choices for dinner around Lancelin are limited. This pub may look a bit dodgy at the front, but it has an amazing view once you headed inside and towards the back. Hubby enjoyed the chicken parma, but my seafood curry was the winner. Plenty of seafood and good flavour. They are very generous serving too. Thumbs up from us!

Bitxyz. I loooove this place, amazing beer garden, fantastic afternoon music sessions....go Squiddy!! Chillin out on the weekend over looking the ocean, great pub grub, ice cold beer and nice wine... where else would i rather be on sat arvo xxx

You guys rock. I am always amazed at how this little tavern severs all these people consistent .....and fresh food....... And its good...At times the wait can be be long ,but the staff handle it really well. I Dont think people understand how hard it is for small seasonal pub to handle the large influx of impatient and sometimes kinda rude people... Btw the chix burger is fantastic......great view...great concerts fantastic staff.......
What more can you ask for.........really???????

Endeavour to avoid the food. The front of the Endeavour Tavern doesn't look like much, but head inside and out the back and what you get is a lovely grassed area overlooking the water - a superb spot to soak up the rays and enjoy the fresh sea breeze.

We arrived between food serving hours (12pm-2pm & 6-8pm) but decided we liked the location so would have a few beers till the kitchen opened. Big mistake - all we managed to do (aside from building up a solid appetite) was to build ourselves up for major disappointment.

The parmigiana schnitzel was overcooked - so much so it proved a challenge to cut through parts of the crumbed chicken with a steak knife. The accompanying sauce tasted worse than what would come out of a Dolmio jar - under seasoned and a bit sour.. salad was limp and chips tasted like they had been sitting around for a good half hour before being served.

The tasting plate - dips tasted like they came from the local IGA, the bread was dry and hard (not from being toasted - more from being stale), marinated occy and feta were not good quality, chorizo and prawns were thankfully grilled nicely.

Highlight of the entire meal was the post-mix coke - served in a glass more than half full of ice.

Sadly, really substandard meals - I'd return, but only for a bevvy.

The Endeavour Tavern is a lovely family friendly restaurant overlooking the spectacular shores of Lancelin. With a huge beer garden area, plenty of shade, live music (weekend nights) and good food this restaurant is a must visit. The outside car park area doesn't do this place justice in my view but as soon as we walked in and saw the beautiful views we were keen to chill out for a few hours and enjoy some good food. The inside of the restaurant has many separate areas and includes a sports bar with wall mounted TV screens, another area (below) included racing car games and a pool table with indoor restaurant seating available. We chose to take in the beautiful views from the alfresco beer garden area. There are plenty of large group tables outside covered by shade as well as more seating areas scattered around the garden. During our visit there was a band setting up for the evenings en
