Review The Dunes Restaurant - Lancelin

This is probably the most comfortable restaurant with the best sunset views in Lancelin that you can get. Order at the bar, fast friendly service, and quality food from these guys. There's indoor dining or bar style outdoor seating - perfect for a summer's day. The oysters were fresh and delicious, and the crab linguine was flavourful. The chicken breast was overcooked and dry, but the broccolini, sweet potato mash, and creamy sauce mostly made up for it. Don't forget to wander up to the Lancelin Lookout for a spectacular view of the coast and the sand dunes, there's a direct path leading up towards it from the restaurant if you walk towards the shore past the lawn.

Really good spot. Near the beach and offers a great view. They've also got a few vegetarian options which are nice. The serve size is pretty small compared to the price but tastes alright.

Stopped over at this great spot after ATV at lanceline sand dune. Awesome spot for quick lunch and beer before heading to pinnacle, listening to the waves while sipping beer. Perfect

Incredible place. Awesome service, views and food. Food: good propitious. We had garlic prawns, chicken parmigiana and stuffed chicken breast. Could not fault anything. Atmosphere: friendly people. The view was incredible as we watched the sunset over the island. There were so many different seating plaves. Which acomidates for everyone with a variety of wind and sun protection. Theres high tables with stools, normal dining tables outside undercover, benches on the grass and dining tables inside.

The gentleman at the bar was best service I have had in a while. Well done mate. Food was excellent and would go back again. Reef and beef was done to my Liking and my wife’s pork belly was tasty. Good job all I’ll be back

The only place for lunch and dinner during our visit to Lancelin since most places were not opened during christmas. A Clean and relaxed place with variety of good food and beverages. Their service is fast and friendly. A good place to dine and watch the sun sets with loved ones.

Lovely peaceful diner.. great food. great view of the ocean and great service. The Thai green curry rice and Vietnamese spring rolls were pretty good... 2 thumbs up :)

RACIST PLACE- will never visit again <br/>The Dunes has always be our favorite spot for lunch in Lancelin for its good view and food. Arrived at the shop for early lunch and firstly heard kitchen staff complaining for an early start- so we actually waited 5-10 minutes before placing the order. The manager/ owner didn’t even look at us and talked to us with bad attitude while taking other customers with friendly smile like the other comments mentioned. We had been talking to her politely in return of this kind of nasty reaction. We understand the fear of the current Coronavirus situation but please do not assume every Asian has it. <br/>Looking at their price tag you might think there must be some good customer service- there isn’t any

Took our young kids for lunch. Was very quiet but food came out very quickly. Large meals, reasonably priced. Clean, kid friendly, large dining area with good selection of alcoholic beverages. Beautiful ocean views with shaded outside area on grass as well. Friendly staff. We stuck to burgers and fish & chips which was great.

Beautiful views! I had the Indonesian beef and potato curry which was probably the best curry I've ever had - and I love curries, it was amazing!! So impressed

We came for lunch, ordering the mee goreng and a veg burger, with two beers. The meals came out very fast and the staff were friendly and helpful. The veg burger was pretty good, and for a deep fried patty I thought it tasted fresh and pretty yum! As you can see from the photo the new goreng was literally 2 minute noodles. I couldn't believe it- $26 and the base was obviously 2 minute noodles, with some sauce, grated veg and a few prawns. The flavours were ok, but we were a bit disappointed in that one. The venue itself is comfortable and well located right on the beach. We would give it another go.

Maybe just arrived on a bad day but the meal was absolutely terrible. First ordered Tom Kah soup which tasted like a bowl of water with chilli powder and 4 prawns. The noodles in it were 2 minutes packet noodles. We were really disappointed. Then had Chicken Green Thai Curry. It was just dry mush and the chicken was dry and tasteless. Nothing even similar to Green Thai Curry. Really seemed like left overs from the day before, not a fresh cooked meal and for $67 you expect a fresh cooked meal. There were flies crawling on the tables and we squashed 3 ants on our plates and table. We left the entire meal there and left. That night we all had stomach cramp and diarrhea. Unfortunately can not recommend this hotel as a place to eat. Try the pizza shop down the road.

The Lancelin Beach Hotel is hands down the best place to stay in Lancelin, owners Mick & Nola stop at nothing to make sure your stay is comfortable and pleasant. To add to this they have years of local knowledge meaning your stay will never get boring!<br/>The rooms have been refurbished making them comfortable and clean. The view from the restaurant/bar (Dunes) is incredible for sunset and the food is top notch. If you make it down to the Sport Bar you'll find friendly staff and after 5pm Mick the owner is always there to tell a story.

We had the salt & pepper squid and chicken schnitzel and it was the best we've at any pub in WA.

GREAT FOOD!!. My Partner and I come and stay here quite often and I can easily say its one of the best meals I have had. The Pork belly is so tasty and crispy! As soon as you enter the doors to restaurant you instantly feel welcome and comfortable with the smiling faces of the bar staff. You can enjoy your meal whilst enjoying the beautiful views of the ocean! service is great and the meals come out so quickly. As for accommodation - the rooms are neat and tidy and can easily be a home away from home. Highly recommend The Dunes Restaurant to anyone that would like a small getaway!

Visitor. Top quality food and dining experience. <br/>A great selection of food from the menu, I ended up having the crab linguine which was amazing! My partner had kilpatrick oysters and a massive Reef and Beef which he demolished. <br/>The service was awesome and the staff were really friendly. Will definitely be going back for another dinner soon.

Chinumchinum. Had the best meal recently at the dunes,their menu has change and as I was apart of 30 people booked in for lunch,it was a credit to them, all the meals where hot,came quickly and was delious three cheers lancelin on the dunes a credit to you

Fantastic. The ambiance is welcoming and the steak cooked just the way you like it. The twice cooked duck with chocolate sauce is delectable. Cannot express how delighted we were with the food. Portions very generous too. Good service with a smile and genuine consideration.

Tender, not chewy at all, good size serving of squid for the money.
