Decent sushi train in the heart of Lane Cove. Not extensive, but good range on offer on the train, the spicy chicken was saucy & had a kick to it. Salmon, seaweed, avocado pretty much what you expect. The service was ok, the only pain point was that the cup the tea served it was not heat proof nor had any handles, it was sculling hot to hold let alone trying to drink out of it.
Popular sushi train outlet that was doing a roaring trade the Sunday lunchtime we visited. While there was a short wait to be seated, the meal is a fast or leisurely as you'd like it to be.
Sushi plates are priced at $3.20, $3.70, $4.20, $4.70, $5.20 and $7.00 and there's plenty of other dishes to order off the menu such as gyoza, udon and donburi. Whilst the conveyor was well stocked, a lot of the plates were the same; more variety would have been appreciated.
There is some really good choices here. But also some not so good ones as well. The edamame as an example is undercooked and the miso is way too salty.
But the salmon rolls with chili powder are great and the salmon wrap with jap Mayo is really good as well. All in all a pretty good sushi train, just have to choose wisely.

Great sushi train...chidori are the best in Sydney. Food is fresh and the place is busy enough that the food doesn't just sit around but you can still usually get a seat pretty quickly. Staff are always friendly and efficient.
Never seen a group of more dedicated staffers helping deliver the sushi to us (as we arrived on a day when the sushi train was broken). The food was decent and the free miso soup/tea was excellent. Mouth-watering food!
At noon on a weekend, it was already busy. If you arrive in a rush and want to grab something to go, thry have packed fried chicken and other dishes for $8 range. Inside you get to sit by the sushi train conveyor bar and watch the sushi go by. The plates are color coded ranging from $3.50 to $8.50 ish offering sushi rolls and sashimi, some side dishes as well as limited deserts such as mochi ice cream, etc. There maybe 45 limit on your seat the sign states.
I do agree with another review. Ordered odon, and the portion was tiny for $10.
Went here for lunch, twice. Mainly for the sushi conveyor, which is rare in these parts. Food is excellent, enjoyed the fresh seafood selection and the desserts. Will Go again, surely.
Excellent place. The service is top notch. Price is reasonable. Good quality food.
Although I've moved to another suburb ... I always come back here ... my fave sushi train! Always fresh and delicious sushi and sashimi creations! Great value for money!
