Near the Lane Cove Library, this cafe has a range of indoor and outdoor dining areas. Peruse the menu near the register, place your order and choose a seat. The number given to you will let them know where to bring your order. The service was lovely.
Their all day menu is extensive enough to pick something you’d like. It was about brunch time so I went with a Corn Stack. A couple of fritters which were quite tasty but could’ve been firmer as it fell apart quickly was topped with a generous portion of bacon and side of mixed lettuce. A perfectly poached egg was on top. Smears of avocado, tomato relish, and sour cream on the side of the plate accompanied it. Overall a delicious plate of food. I had a Mocha and they used Toby’s Estate. It was a stronger blend.
Ordered one of the specials, california fish wrap. The filling was tasty and fulfilling. However the fish may have been overcooked as some parts of it was tough and unchewable. Also had some nice baked goods on the counter. Staff were friendly! Nice outdoor seating is a bonus.
Nice little cafe next to the library and right infront of the ever busy woolies. foods good. Coffees good too. Good service and very friendly staff

Ground Caffe underwent a ownership/management change late last year, and along with a menu revamp, this has made the Cafe one of the best North of the Harbour. It is tucked away from main drag but this is a good thing, quieter and more relaxing. The food is ridiculously good. The breakfast classics are there, and are done well, but I like the speciality menu which features house made waffles on various dishes. I had the chicken and waffles and it was bang on! The service and atmosphere is as good as the food. They use Toby's beans and the coffee is as good as we all expect in Sydney. Highly recommended this place!

Wow!! What a menu! Breakfast, Brunch, lunch... Groubd Caffee has you sorted. Recommend the chicken and waffles, off the all day waffle menu! Will blow your mind.

The inside area is small but cosy, with the main feature being the great alfresco space. It’s a cool day but the outdoor heaters and sunshine keep everyone very comfy. The all-important coffee is by Toby’s Estate and the menu offers breakfast, brunch and lunch options, including vegan. There are some very enticing and healthy dishes, old favourites and innovative new combos.
Lovely family friendly venue, beautiful food and coffee! Staffs are very friendly. Must try their fresh Sunday waffles and the Dhukka eggs...yum!
