Exceptional service from staff. Their dishes are amazing. I would highly recommend their sweet and sour pork as well as the steamed fish.
Our family was wondering about dinner and would like to try something different on Friday night. Food was really good and tasty and portion was decent. We were welcomed by the owner and she's very welcoming. I would recommend this place to our friend
We found this restaurant when we visited Sydney near Christmas. We ordered Salt & Pepper Barramundi, Singapore Chilli King Prawns, and Buddisht Style Mixed Vegetables & Fungus. The food was excellent, the fish and prawns was fresh and cooked very well. My favourite was the prawns, it had perfect balance of spice. Otherwise, my wife loved the fish very much. It had mild season so you can taste the fish better. The vegetables also very good, it was fresh and seasoned very well and not overcooked. Overall we were very pleasant with the food, the service, also the ambience in Wok Passion. We surely will go back when we visit Sydney again.
I'm a fried rice lover, so I ordered Fried Rice and Char Kway Teow here. I was really enjoy the food and all friendly service staff. Price was cheap. Will be back soon to try another menu.
Delicious food, great service and convenience from where i lives.
PS: Must try their Chicken Laksa Noodle, Rendang and their nasi goreng.
Highly recommended restaurant in Lanecove. Good services, yummy food and friendly staff :-)
Cozy place. Love the ambience. Reasonable price for quality and yummy meals .
Fully reccomended it ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
the food ordered according to the photo and the taste is very good .. really recommendation ..
Sambal fish and salt paper squid really recommended tasty and yummy 🥰 will be back for sure
Try : “Penang Char Kway Teow” and “Sweet and Sour Pork” —> it tastes incredibly good! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Not only is the food so delicious but the service and hospitality is two thumbs up! Will be back for sure 👍🏼
Highly recommended restaurant in Lanecove. Nice food and very friendly staff!
Price is very reasonable as well for those quality meals.
Mum came here before and highly recommended, so we thought we'd give it a go too. Came here on a Sunday and ordered some dishes from their lunch special (with 16 options to choose from) and also from their every day menu.
Got Hainanese chicken laksa, Hainanese Chicken rice, brocolli and beef, singaporean noodles and Beef kuey teow.
The portions were generous, especially the broccoli and beef stirfry. The laksa has nice flavours and the hainanese chicken was meaty and delicious.
the meal was cheap, and we'd like to come back to sample the lunch special menu - however, they do try to upsell quite a bit (maybe because their food was quite cheap), pressuring us to order more even though we have told them we would like to see how we go.
Roast duck laksa, and you definitely can't miss the duck! It's the most ginormous piece of duck ever come a Chinese BBQ chopping board. In a way it also matches the most ginormous pieces of fried tofu ever gracing a bowl of laksa. That aside the laksa soup is quite good, and there are a lot of meat, so definitely good value. Just need to add some veggies in for some balance.
Hadn't been here since it changed hands. The decor seems to have stayed the same (unfortunately) the food on the other hand has changed greatly. More Malaysian than Chinese now and it's an inprovement. I ordered a Penang curry chicken laksa. The serving was generous. I'm finishing my take away leftovers as I type. Extremely tasty, just spicy enough. I should have asked for some extra sambol. Many large chunks of chicken in the dish as opposed to the usual bits of thigh fillet. Incredibly good value. Ignore the decor and support them, so they can afford to update it. I'll be taking the family back.
It's pretty hard to get Singapore Noodles wrong, so wasn't expecting any surprises. And it didn't disappoint, fresh and flavoursome with all the usual ingredients. I always ask for chilli on the side, it always seems to give this dish the hit it needs.
I simply love the food here as it tastes so Malaysian Chinese. I would definitely recommend them as they are fast, quantity is sufficient n taste is too good. Satisfying n worthy for the price.
I dine at Wok Passion every now and then... And never disappointed for the price we pay. A good range of dishes, with decent portions and fresh food. I can't eat much salt with it quite rare for me to walk out of a Chinese restaurant not feeling like each dish had too much salt in it - I don't find this with Wok Passion. A little refurb of the interior would improve the overall rating of Wok Passion.

Got some takeaway lunch.
Ordered the Nasi lemak - Steamed coconut rice with boiled egg, anchovies, sambat, cucumber and peanuts with Crispy Chicken Maryland (spiced) $13.90.
The chicken came separate to the rice and condiments. Also got a papadum!
Service was quick - food came out in under 10 minutes.
Dish was pretty good. I sampled a few of the anchovies and they didn't really have that strong flavour which was great as i'm not a fan of anchovies.
Good first visit!
Great Malaysian casual tucker. The noodles and nasi lemak were authentic and well proportioned especially at the prices charged. Service was friendly and attentive considering it was a busy Sunday lunch. Relaxing environment and fairly fast service too. Fully recommend it!
Dinner. 1. food - Duck pancakes, wanton soup, steamed barramundi, butter prawns were good. Lack of flavour in the noodles (I tried mee goreng, mihun goreng, chow mien).
2. customer service - friendly and helpful staff
3. environment - family diner
Nice save. After several good experiences here had a terrible one. Owner contacted me straight away after I emailed the restaurant about it. Very satisfied with the outcome.
Die die must try!. Went with a group of friends from Malaysian Global Network a fortnight ago for specially prepared Malaysian dishes. Best Malaysian dinner since Makan at Alice. Will definitely be back again with the family this time.
Great Value, tasty food. I have come here a few times and each time the food has been hot, fresh and tasty!
I love the lemon Chicken - delish! The garlic Chicken is divine! And the most recent time we tried the hostesses "home town chicken" which was packed full of flavour!
We have tried many a dish here and every single time it never fails to satisfy!
The hostess is a cheeky lady, she will make her own recommendations for you each time, but take it with humour. She is good for a laugh and always jolly, but dont take offense.
The decor is basic, but i ask you: do you really want to pay outrageous prices for a place that looks good, or did you come to eat good food?
Prices are so decent for the meals that you get. Substantial portions of fantastic Chinese food and the service is wonderful.
Always thoroughly satisfied after a meal at The Rice Kitchen!
Have alked pass this place for years ad it not much to look at .... But the food plesantly surprises. Basic Chinese made with love!
Delicious Malay/Chinese inspired dishes. We have been here on several occasions and found the food and service to be of good quality and consistent. Favourites like Laksa, Mee Goreng and Hainan Chicken are on the menu. Great value for money. I highly recommend it.
Surprisingly good Malaysian food. Very good for a first try. Had a chicken laksa and it was divine. Will try the other dishes. Will not disappoint.
First time eat at Wok Passion. Had this Chicken Laksa. It is very yummy - good soup,, tender chicken. $10 lunch special, such a good value.

Great Malay Chinese Cusine in Lane cove. I ordered Beef Rendang and very yummy. Nice staff and convenient locations.
One of our favourite local restaurants in Lane Cove since we first arrived in 2015. 7 years later, with 2 kiddos, and 4 years after we moved to a different suburb, we went back for my birthday dinner and their food and services are still amazing! 👍👌
As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were immediately greeted with smiles and a kind, friendly attitude. We came late at night so there weren't much people but the restaurant had a nice quiet vibe. Overall a great place to eat!
Staff was attentive and provided great customer service. Food was full of flavour and delicious - great value for money. Would recommend if you're stopping by Lane Cove.
My wife and I visited for a early Friday night casual dinner after work. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great menu choices. A feature was the excellent use of spices to create wonderful warmth in their dishes without the extreme heat of chilli's.
