Review Sailmaster - Largs Bay

Popped in for lunch today and had a fabulous time! Facilities and views are simply top notch!!! Service was prompt and friendly, drinks lovely as well. Pricing is marina level, but more than acceptable. We did the seafood platter and it was more than enough for the three of us! Would certainly come here again.

Amazing food with a beautiful view! Was so happy to come across this place while passing, glad we called in for lunch, food was served quickly despite being told there may be delays Great cocktail and beer menu And beautiful outdoor seating spaces Also has a very large TV perfect for sport days!

Stopped in for a random outing for dinner. Very nice and welcoming staff. Lovely food. Our table ordered the seafood basket, the roast of the day (pork) and a schnitzel with mushroom sauce. The seafood basket was elegantly presented, absolutely worth the $40 it cost. Roast pork was very tender and cooked to perfection. Schnitzel was tasty, only complaint there was not enough mushroom sauce. And to top it all off, the view when we arrived was stunning! Will definitely return! Thank you!

I have not been to the Sailmaster Taven for some years...AND it will be many years again if ever at all..I was looking forward to a nice lunch after a Car cruise..our Starter of 4 slices of onion cheese and bacon .grilled on bread was outstanding.. having studied the menu I settle on a Butter Burger as the Pork I wanted had Capsicum in the accompanying Salad..so next best was the Butter Burger...WRONG..I took the top of the Roll off ..as I didn't want to eat all that bread..I started on the 1 piece of Bacon..then took the two "Beef" paties out with the 2 slices of tomato.& Lettuce..as soon as I tasted the "Beef" paties..I tasted Chilly.. I am allergic to Chilly & Capsicum so I couldn't eat any more of my Meal..other than the few Chips that came with my Meal. So What a Waste of $25-00 I told the waitress.when she cleared the table. About there is nothing in the Food description of Chilli being in those beef.Paties. and yet they have a foot note about Food allergies...the photo of the " Beef paties" with the chilli in it for all to see.

Had a family dinner with 22 of us in a separate room. The restaurant was full. Our meals arrived quicker than we expected. Food was great. I had the scotch fillet with lobster sauce. It cost $48. My only negative about it, is the quality of the steak. It was a little tough and chewy. Service was very good. Gorgeous location on the marina. Really nice meals I went there again yesterday after we had come out of lockdown. The last time I reviewed I was very happy and gave a four star rating. This time I was even more impressed so I now give them five stars. My only feedback is to serve baby roasted potatoes with the seared tuna and that dish would be off the rails. You could offer chips instead but have the potatoes as standard. I must apologize for the oyster photos being finished (yum) Also great salad please don't change it to save money.
