Went there last Saturday morning after visiting Kings Park spring festival. The queue was long but the service was fast & efficient. Highly recommend their blueberry bagel & beef roll from the cabinet. Their coffee is also very good, look like they roast their own coffee. Friendly staff, excellent service. Table order for dine in. And pay at the counter at the end of the meal or flag a staff that have the tablet.
Came here on a Saturday morning - was quite busy. This place reminded of cafes in Melbourne, with similar warehouse vibes. Coffee was great and food was good too. I like the atmosphere and minimalism of the place.
We loved our lunch at Laika! We both ate every last crumb on our plate and we’ll definitely be going back. I wasn’t a huge fan of the chilli on my eggs but I’m not great with anything spicy anyway.
Came here with 7 others of my friends, we all tried the different menu. All of the food tasted great! The food came quite fast despite being a busy Saturday morning. Staff were friendly and helpful too. The only thing that was disappointing were the coffees, they were very weak. We ordered clthe capucino, mocha, short Mac, late and chai latte, none were up to scratch. Otherwise, everything else was perfect.
Lovely breakfast spot! Had the breakfast quesadilla and it was amazing. Great array of flavours and was filling and tasty. Great value for money. Staff were very friendly as well!

The Cosmic Veggie Burger was terrific. Not only was the burger delicious but so were the fries.
The brunch pasta was also amazing. Not only was this vegetarian but it was also gluten-free.
The Laika Stack was alright, but it was basically an avocado smash, and from our experience, other cafes do this better.
Massive range of vegetarian options and gluten-free options, however not as many vegan options.
It’s a dog-friendly café.
Free parking and plenty of parking!
Beautiful and Instagram worthy dishes.
Beautiful surroundings to enjoy your meal.
Cons:
Not many choices if you are a lacto-vegetarian.
There are not many tables outdoors especially tables in the shade that can seat three or more people, but the staff were more than happy to bring in additional side table to accommodate us in the shade.
It does get scorching hot to sit in the seatings that are not in the shade.
Coffee average. Great vegan options. Food presented beautifully and well cooked. Bring back the quesadilla scramble- my partner was very disappointed this was taken off the menu. Can be quiet busy. But good for a midweek breakfast stop. Sitting by the basketball hoop can be risky. Sides very overpriced.
I’ve been to this place many times, have enjoyed the food and drinks every single time. Highly recommend the mocha it’s delicious and the iced drinks, their house made cookies are sooo good and so are their bagels with cream cheese. The customer service is always top notch, coffee is 10/10 you can also buy beans from there which is also a huge plus. Partner had the chicken burger said it was really good, This place is always packed, but Always manage to get a table. Don’t expect very quick service as they are a very busy cafe. But you can expect delicious food and drinks. Don’t think I’ll ever stop coming here
excellent little place. well it looks little from the outside. but not at all really. polite staff, service was on time & it wasn't busy (Tuesday around 11am). I got the Pumpkin hummus danish fetta toast? perfect portion for me, but a tad bit too much fetta for my liking. rye bread was a good texture. my partner really enjoyed his meal (croquettes & eggs), and was very full/satisfied by the end of it. needless to say, we cleaned both our plates. yummm
First time there...coffee was good, mushroom medley dish was good (bread was yummy!) & toasted banana bread was good! Got to find a chance to try the other stuff...

Lots of parking space which is always a bonus. We got there in time for lunch and it was packed. We were greeted and taken care of- immediately. I ordered the banana bread and it was soo good. Not too sweet which was lovely. Also ordered the croquette and the eggs benedict (their version of) and food was very tasty all around. Really happy and will def come back.
This is a great little cafe tucked into Lathlain‘ snack streets but in a short time has proven super popular. It’s menu features all day breakfast plus a smattering of other dishes (burger, healthy bowls, veggie patties).The coffee is first rate and the venue itself has a lot of Melbourne industrial cool. Chilled tunes, a nice outdoor area, mod furnishings and two basketball hoops complete the setting. I had the chicken breast burger on a milk bun and it was spectacular- juicy chicken, lightly toasted bread with delicious pickled red cabbage and salad, plus a side of hand cut chips. Check this place out !
Great coffee and very good food, service is quick and friendly, this is the sort of place that makes life hard for Perth restaurants, as a cafe it is in many ways superior.
I loved the customer centric and Super friendly service here. The food is moneys worth. With great atmosphere and interior it made the brunch experience extra delightful.

It was a very busy day. We came on a weekend around noon and had to wait about 10-15minutes for a table. My name was taken and placed on the list. Once we got a table, we ordered: Banana bread & Espresso mascarpone with in-housed baked banana bread, laika espresso mascarpone, candied nuts and mixed berries; Mexican quesadilla scram- lupin flour tortilla, grilled chorizo, Mexican style black bean salsa, jalapeno scrambled eggs, avocado, sour cream and coriander; and Prosciutto toast with toasted new york rye, prosciutto, truss tomatoes, fresh basil, roquette pesto fior de latte and paprika oil. Super tasty food! Enjoyed the coffee here too.
Bit of an odd location (Lathlain? Where?) but worth any trip. Good coffee, food is excellent (in particular the brunch pasta is one I get drawn back to) and it’s a really nice looking spot. Choose your timing wisely as it does get busy, we went early on Anzac Day to get a table and it seemed everyone else had the same idea! Lots of parking available too which is nice.
So excited when this place opened up in our neighbourhood and they didn't disappoint. The coffee is good. The staff is friendly. The food is great. My favorite is the pulled pork eggs benedict - so good!
Came here for a mid week brunch catch up. We had to sit outside because there was no free tables inside because it was so busy. But it was ok as it was nice weather. Service was prompt and friendly. The food was delicious and fresh and great coffee. Highly recommend.
Came here on a Monday morning, small crowd of people but still plenty of seating available! I love that they have Purezza water, so you get a complementary sparkling or still! Very trendy decor and set up and pretty clean I will admit.
Was slightly let down when the waitress told me both of the items that I wanted for breakfast were unavailable, so I opted for the Laika Stack and it was amazing. Super generous serving size. But other than that - the service was definitely polite and the food was really good. Slightly pricey, but the portion size made up for it.

Same as their sister cafe in West Leedy, Laika’s food for me were lack of something I cant quite explain. Brunch Pasta & Laika Stack were not bad at all, but could have been better (standard). We didnt like our coffee (mocha), wasnt balance. Muffin was good. Would give them another chance one day.

Thanks to Instagram alerting me of this gem I came here on Anzac Day with two friends and boy was it super busy. We were seated by the lovely staff and had table service. I ordered the Laika Stack and while it was nice the bread could have been toasted and dressed with oil or butter to make it more crisp and stand the test of time with so many good flavours on top. The place was super funky with high ceilings and a great fit out. I would come back for sure as I didn’t order a coffee and you can’t truly judge a cafe until their coffee has been tried! Separate billing and lots of parking were the icing on a great morning.
The design of the cafe is very industrial chic, with high ceilings and a spacious feel. Options for indoor and outdoor seating too.
Went there for brekkie and was impressed with the creative menu and filtered coffee. They have table service and had no problems with split billing. Despite being very busy the food and drinks came on time.

Interiors are divine! Love the vibes. Staff are nice. The place is table service which is pretty rare for a brunch spot. Decent sized menu, went with the Laika Stack - featuring haloumi, over roasted tomato, perfectly poached egg and crunchy bread. Yum! Everything was cooked well, addition of bacon was good too. E enjoyed her scrambled eggs and bacon, beautifully presented too. Pretty pricy ($60 for two people) but such a great edition to the suburb.
Recently added to my favourites. Every time I’ve been there so far, it’s been nice. The food is good and so is the coffee, the staff are friendly. I love the vibe inside and outside is young people friendly with a little basketball court which is nice if you’ve got young ones with you
Super busy here, I went to here on Friday morning and seats were full, and there were a lot of people in line to take away.
Seating area is huge.
Staffs were friendly, service was best, coffee was decent. Good atmosphere. Location is perfect as well, street parking for free.
Will be coming back soon.
Grabbed breakfast on a pretty warm morning and it was really nice sitting outside in the shade. The food was yummy and a bit different from what can be found elsewhere.

If I could give Laika 6 out of 5 stars I would..
We had a very impromptu visit to Laika with a group of 7. It was a busy Sunday morning and it was expected to rain so the staff had somehow managed to squish in 57 bookings. We expected to be turned away and asked to come back another time. Yet we were incredibly surprised to have been given a table for our group after only a 3 minutes wait. We were seated out the back on one of the recycled cement tables - these are both functional for a bigger group and look great.
The staff members were so accommodating and polite despite being under the pump with a lot of other guests. We all ordered coffees, then food and then some of the guests decided to order another coffee because it was just that good. I had the cauliflower hummus after ordering it on another visit and it was just as good as the first time - despite the packed cafe.
Absolutely will be returning here for other occasions as I was actually blown away with the experience we had. Great work management team and hospitality staff 😊
Absolutely amazing coffee taste and implacable latte art in every coffee, the food was absolutely so worth it for the price and size so tasty and everything ready very fast.

Coffee ☕️ probably be one of the best in perth. Both Ice latte and cold brew are great. Cold brew is not too sour or bitter. Ice latte has a roasted coffee bean taste 🤩
The duck french toast today was really yummy! I come here regularly. Love the vibe and the service is always faultless. The staff go above and beyond and I've never had to wait long for my order.
