Review Star Of Siam - Launceston

Authentic and good quality Thai food. The Tom yum soup was my favourite dish & totally on point - you can tell the spices were made from scratch and not from a bottle!

Went for a hot Tom Yum soup because it was freezing and boy, was it yum! The basil chicken and prawn dish were excellent. Possibly the best Thai meal I've ever had. The owner was a lovely gentleman who gave all the credit tongue wife, the chef, when we complimented the food. Excellent service. Clean table, chairs and cutlery and crockery. Do yourself a favour and visit. Will happily return.

Enjoyed every minute of it. Staff were really attentive and gave a good and quick service. Food was delicious. We enjoyed some spring rolls and yummy satay chicken skewers to start with. As a main,we had the quail with the garlic and onion sauce and veggies and the pad Thai with beef. Everything was very nice.

Had Thai dinner on our first night in Launceston on 29/4. From the entree to the main course (Tomyam and Crab fried rice) to the desert (mango sticky rice ), it was on point. Great service and great food. Il def come back especially for the mango sticky rice!

The place is warm, nice with great decoration. The layout is organised and spacious as well. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Food is ok. Prawn Pad Thai is good but needs a bit of season in my flavour. Chicken Fried Rice is a bit bland in my flavour as well. Thai Milk Tea is good. The portion is good too. I may come back next time to try other food :). But overall, it is a good Thai food in town.

Amazing Thai food in Tasmania. All the dishes are on point and taste exactly like authentic Thai food. Very flavourful and yummy. Prices are on the high side but super worth it. Portion is acceptable too.

One of the oldest cuisine charms in Launceston that we ever keep coming back each time revisiting the city. The food is as authentic as you can get in Australia, unlike in many other Thai fusion restaurants. This is what I like about here, the menu is kept simple and stick to the core. Located at the central of Launceston, i love just sitting inside and watching people/traffic roaming around outside. We ordered Larb Chicken, Jungle Curry with Beef, Pad Thai with Prawn and Curry Puffs. Everything was great and we absolutely enjoyed the dinner. Thank you.

Very yummy food and warm service. Was going to try sticky rice with mango but already sold out.
