The food and operation of this F & C shop is v/good, what makes me mark it down is that we have been 3 times when it is not open. These times not out of normal hours, but around meal times. Don't see how a business can choose to close for their own convenience. We don't take the chance anymore and

A large range of assorted seafood, particularly fish along with potato cakes beautifully presented in a display case for you to select and have cooked and served pipping hot. Just superb. There's your obligatory chips, as well as hamburgers, chicken products and a selection of cold drinks. Excellent

Always great service and food. This is one of my favourite places to stop and feed the family or to grab that ideal burger after a massive hike.

The fish was lovely and perfectly cooked, although I would have preferred crumbed (they only offer flake crumbed and I can't eat flake). I really enjoyed the potato scallop- batter was delicious and the potato lovely and soft inside. Chips were a little average- not bad but not the best I've had eit
