Review Sushi To Go - Launceston

This was the best sushi we have ever had!! The flavours in these rolls were amazing and fresh. We had the two gourmet vegetarian rolls. It's always nice when a sushi store offers something different to the usual avocado or cucumber roll. Next time we are in Launceston we will definetly be back.

Easily the worst sushi I've had. Both rolls I had, looked like they had been wrapped by a 6 year old. The rice was not sushi rice(maybe plain white long grain?!) nor was the rice seasoned and the avocado was puree from a tube, I reckon. Definitely not worth the $4.50 per roll. No wonder there was not another soul in the shop at lunch time.

Was recommended by a friend, took a punt from our normal place and was not disappointed. Everything was amazing. The service the smiles on the employees. Was very a great experience. Food was fresh and left me wanting much more! Can't wait for our next outing, will definitely be back! 🙏

I just ordered some teriyaki chicken rolls. They were so fresh and the flavour was delightful. A very lovely surprise. Lost a star for the slightly sullen staff member (maybe just a bad day...but lose a star anyway).

Love this place! Polite and friendly staff and great sushi. Tempura mushrooms are an absolute fave, as well as the veg udon noodle soup. Highly recommend.

I have been a customer for sushi to go for years their sushi is the best i have had their variety is great and expandsive well done.

Reposting this after my last review was deleted. Perhaps if the owners sent half the time they spend deleting bad reviews, learning to make sushi this place wouldn't be so bad. This sushi vendor (because restaurant is too kind and it's still offensive to vendors). Could not possibly produce more bland tasting, disgusting, health hazards if they tried. I went here with my partner. It's not a hard place to miss, I assume good location is the only reason there still in business. She ordered salmon, I ordered chicken. Upon the waitstaff bringing the plate over, we immediately noticed that there was salmon on the outside of my chicken roll. That's right they cut a salmon roll then a chicken roll with the same knife and didn't bother even wiping it. The sushi was by far the worse I've had and I've eaten sushi all over Australia. The chicken was overcooked, the rice was undercooked. It was simply terrible. I'm at a loss as to how anybody could believe this place makes good food. Overall, I would sooner recommend eating from a dumpster in the street before you go here.

This is hands down, without a doubt the worst sushi I have ever had anywhere. The rice is under cooked, gluggy and there is hardly any actual fillings in the roll. To top it off it was $4 a roll (even the most expensive places in victoria are 2.80 a roll!!!) however even if it was free i would still consider it one of the worst things I have eaten. I had one bite - gave it to my husband who agrees it was gross and then threw it out. I'm now concerned I will get sick from it.

Not very authentic, but still tasty!. Udon soup with raw vegies and parsley and coriander?! Seems like nouveau/fusion to me.<br/><br/>Great decor, nice sushi rolls.
