Friendly staff. Located just off the main strip in Leederville, Babylon Cafe is a little gem. Nothing pretentious. Only a great coffee. In a relaxed atmosphere and dog friendly cafe. I enjoy a flat white every time I’m in Leederville on business.

Just gotta love this place. I first went there with my colleague Robbie Gasper, football (soccer) guru who told me they make the best coffee in town. And they do!!<br/><br/>But we also loved the spicy toasties that were delicious. <br/><br/>This is a quirky, odd, weird, crazy cafe...but you will just love it, for a relaxed conversation with friends or to read the paper. Just across the road from the famous Sayers Cafe.

Great coffee - best place in Leederville to have a long mac topped up. Also, their desserts on the bench near the counter are delicious. I've just about tried everyone and although decadent, they are quite small so you'll definitely enjoy it.

Almost couldn't find this cafe, but that is one thing I loved about it! Such a cool, relaxed space. Love the outdoor area, it almost felt like I'd left the city and found myself in an alley in Asia or somewhere remote. Such good vibes. Staff were super, explained the toastie menu and suggested what they thought was best. Tried the Salami & Jalapeño sandwich. Soooooo good. Bit of a kick but the cheese mellowed it out. Delish. Really good coffee too - can't wait to return.

This place had been on my list of places to coffee at for a while before I dropped in on Saturday morning. It was raining as we ran in off the street into this gorgeous, cosy nook pictured. Soy coffee was perfection, friend let me try his veggie stack and it was DELISH. Service was super friendly. Sat for ages here, can't believe it took me so long to try. Wish they served a full breakfast menu! Cannot wait to come back.

Di and I visited this very funky cafe during a food tour.<br/><br/>It's in an out of the way location in Leederville and has a low key, eclectic feel.<br/><br/>Maybe that's down to it being in a 100 year old shed that was once used as stables!<br/><br/>Excellent cold drip coffee (is that what it's called?!?). Delicious home made treats.<br/><br/>These guys are all about the coffee and simple food.<br/><br/>And the name! Babylon! Uber cool.<br/><br/>Definitely worth a visit but it ain't Gloria Jeans so expect the unexpected.

Really good coffee, the veggie stacks are delicious, but the brownies, oh lord the brownies are amazing! The atmosphere is really lovely too. such a nice spot to have a chilled lunch in the summer, but there's also a small indoor area for when the weather's not so good. The staff are always so friendly as well which is a bonus!

This little cafe is delightful! Gorgeous 'nooks and crannies' atmosphere surrounded by succulents with a warm and cosy feel. I've had coffee here several times (coffee is great) and yesterday I also tried the vege stack which was delicious.

The staff here are really friendly, the vibe is very Freo as one reviewer said, and the snacks are yum (especially the GF Pharaoh's fingers!) I was on my way to Sayer's and decided to detour into this place instead, I'm glad I did! Sayers tends to get congested inside at lunchtime and not conducive to peacefully reading a book, but Babylon feels pretty laid back and the outdoor area is great!

Amazing coffee, gorgeous location and awesome staff. This place is a little treasure, away from the main strip and with a funky Freo vibe you would be hard pushed to find anywhere north of the river. Love all the home made snacks, the fact that there is a 16oz option and the staff are always smiling 🙌🙌😄😄

This mostly open air cafe, serving coffee from its little hut and using wooden electrical cable reels and other eclectic furniture as its tables, is conveniently situated across the road from the Sayers queue and the back of the Rug Studio. It seems few people know about it which gives it a very relaxed feel. <br/><br/>The reasonably priced coffee from there was as lovely as the service from the friendly barista.

This place is a hidden gem!! Tucked away just up from the busy leedi strip this coffee shop is peaceful and raw. Plenty of room to seat outside, small seating inside. Small selection of food available. The coffee is soo good, served only in takeaway but the flavour is still there!! They also do a great cold brew, but ill take a cap over anything. Perfect place to relax and try something different but still near the hustle n bustle. Definitely go here!

Takes a little while, but the coffee is some of the best in Perth. Out of the way location, yiu won't just find it walking around Leedervilles main drag. Curious rustic decor that reminds me of an old garden shop. Recommended.

Always on the lookout for a great coffee and believe I have found it at Babylon.<br/>The sign says "made with love" and this is certainly true.<br/>My 3/4 long mac was creamy, smooth and made just as I like it.<br/>Had a vege stack with my coffee and it was really delicious also.<br/>Will definitely be back.

Absolutely the best coffee in Leederville! I was doubtful before going even though everyone was raving about it on Zomato. This place has character, adore all the details. I enjoyed sitting outside soaking up the sun. Staff are really patient and helpful. Got my loyalty card and I'm ready to go back soon.

Their coffee (topped up short macchiato) is delicious. Their veggie stack is delicious. Their ham and cheese toastie on rye is delicious (I think it has mustard on it?). The outdoor sitting area is lovely with cute rustic furniture (from rug studio) and a water feature. I'm glad they have more options with the veggie stack now though, having one with bacon/ham and one with chilli.
Miss Eat A Lot
Hidden behind a rug store in the heart of Leederville, Babylon café is the perfect place to grab a cup of coffee. I love their rustic wooden furniture and little touches like their Aztec patterned cushions as well as the bright blue front door. Arriving a few minutes early for a meeting, I decided to grab a Chicken Toastie and a small Flat White. The toastie was on a Rye and Sunflower seed bread which was crispy on the outside and delicious on the inside with a generous filling of chicken, sweet mustard pickles, mayonnaise and cheese.

Great new spot in Leederville for decent coffee. Babylon cafe is hidden behind the Rug Studio and has a lovely outside courtyard filled with plants, lots of character. Most importantly - great coffee!

The coffee is good but the owner has a problem with touting customers to buy the cakes and sweets, which irritate me. The owner himself is on a no sugar diet and he touts me to buy his sugary stuff! The owner also gives customers the third degree if you have not been patronising for some time. The sweets, cakes and the stack are ok but so out of date and not kept with modern times.

Great when a new joint opens up and they get things right from the get go. You can tell this is a place that takes its coffee seriously and it was seriously good! The location is a bit tucked away which is cool as the vibe is chilled and pretty rustic. I had one of their toasties which was really tasty but they also had lots of yummy looking home made cakes and treats. I am not a Perth local but this will be a definite haunt when I am in town!
