Large selection of cupcakes with unique flavours. Though the cupcakes were a bit dry when I had them.

This is a child's dream - a cubby house, blackboard and rabbit out the back with a coupe if big tables which are good for mum's with Oran's to catch up at. A good location for a mothers group catch up for toddler aged kids and those with babies.
But a child's dream can be a parent's nightmare. Sugar. The design your own cupcake is a genius idea where kids use lollies to decorate a vanilla cupcake but parents be warned a sugar high will occur.
The trifle cupcake delivered as it promised. The strawberry and cram cupcake was dense and tasted stale. The jaffles at $6 were good value and very old school.
To all mums: This coffee shop is fits for all ages..They have secure playground behind their coffee shop (just need to ask the staff).
We can cit chat..and at the same time the kids can have some fun too.
Their ice coffee and cup cakes are not bad either.

Sweet Remedy specialty is cupshake (cupcake shake), yes you didnt read wrong. Cupcake shake!! There’s sooo many flavour choices that I really couldn’t decide which one to get. So they recommend me the raspberry oreo cupshake (i might have not get the name right). And to top it off, they also gave me the original cupcake to compliment the cupshake. I was really surprised that it wasn’t sickly sweet like other milkshake. I could actually drink the whole thing by myself. I really really love it.
Sometimes there’s something that you just have to drop everything to try, and for me that was the new “Cupshake” from The Sweet Remedy Cafe in Leederville. As you may have guessed, this drink involves taking a cupcake of your choosing and blending it with milk & ice cream. I’ve heard of all sorts of things being blended into shakes in the USA, and we’re starting to see it here now – Babooshka are putting doughnuts into their creations, and there’s an Apple Pie Shake at Ribs & Burgers which I have tried, but that’s another story…

The Yummy Mummy Day Spa is right next door so if you are heading there you could pop in before or after your treatment.
The perfect place to take the kids out for a sweet treat. Amazing cupcakes the kids will love choosing their favourite and then eating it outside in the "backyard" complete with rabbits in a hutch, blackboard and cubby house. Awesome service, prams can be brought in through the back.
Nice service. Nice selection of pretty cupcakes. I had the lemon meringue which was yummy and the salted caramel which was nice too, moist, and both had surprise fillings. My friend had the choc mint and the coconut. The cupcakes were nice but not amazing. I may be back. The bouquet of cupcakes looked amazing!
Recommended by a rugby mum so after last game of season here we are. Sweet place, funky staff. Guy with coloured Mohawk and red beard. Cool Italian coffee machine in pastel blue to match the pastel themes. I like this place. I like the coffee. Sprout 3 likes his cakes and juice. Wish I had a girl to bring her here.
It's a lovely place to bring family and small children, the playground and the bunnies add a great touch, my chicken, avocado, cheese, and mayo bagel was so yummy! The cupcakes were great too, loved it :)
Grabbed a takeaway coffee today after hearing about the change of coffee supplier. Prior to this I thought of this place as being a cupcake store first and coffee second...but I was impressed with the coffee and the equipment they had to make it!! A big fan of Micrology coffee :)

I Love The Sweet Remedy Cafe. I love The Sweet Remedy Cafe for many reasons but the main reason is the friendly faces as soon as u walk in the door and the friendly service!
Sooo delicious, fluffy, sweet, cupcakes! If you're cupcake mad like me, stop hesitating and go into the Sweet Remedy cafe ASAP, you will not regret it. Big variety of lovely cupcakes, all sorts of flavours with great coffee to match.

Best Coffee / Cupcake combo's. I'll need more visits to sample the range of deliciuos cupcakes..so far my ersonal favorite is a simple red velvet but the peanut butter nutter is next on the list. Perfect coffe from the unique Tiffany Blue Strada with a dragon Latte Art ( amazing) now a regular xxxxx stars.
OMG. I must admit I do have a sweet tooth and I enjoy my coffee, some would even call me a nerd. I came here after a recommendation from a friend. I walked in and the first thing that struck my eye was the amazing range of Cupcakes! but then something better caught my eye, these guys have an amazing coffee selection with a Strada, and EK combination. They were pumping out Proud Mary coffee, and also offering filter coffee as well. The guys were super friendly and were more than happy to have a chat. The owner, Chris, even let me have a go on his coffee machine. Anyway down to the product. I had a oreo cookie and cream and hell yes there is a biscuit baked into the base of the cupcake. I waged it down with a syphon filter, an Ethiopean, so clean and fruity. Safe to say this is now a regular haunt for me. I can't speak highly enough of the place, hence why I'm writing a review.

Service was very serious, no smile, no cheeriness whatsoever, so
was a little put off when I ordered a baby cino and the guy wouldn't continue with the transaction until I'd put a gold coin in the tin. I have no problem with that at all, in fact a fantastic idea, but I was left scrambling around in my purse while he stood and watched me. No smile, no ice breaker, it was just awkward!
Happily the cupcakes were delicious and coffee surprisingly good (normally it's one or the other everywhere else you go!). The icing on the cupcakes tasted exactly like dream whip (if you're a (home) baker you'll know what this is and know that it tastes like vanilla ice cream)!

What a wonderful find! Really funky cafe in a great location, amazingly good coffee, yummy cupcakes and surprisingly kid friendly! Usually when I venture into a cool cafe like this with my toddler in tow I never expect it will last long. Out of necessity I order a take away coffee for myself just in case I need to make a quick exit, plus usually an expensive smoothie for the little one to keep him happy and I'm usually in and out as soon as he's finished his smoothie! However it was quite the unexpected experience at The Sweet Remedy. They have a warm and casual atmosphere, 2 high chairs available, gold coin donation babycino's with the proceeds going to a charity and decorate your own cupcakes for the little ones (brilliant idea!). The owners, Chris and Sarah told me that in the future they will open up a back area with outside seating and a play area for kids and also let me know about a park around the corner at the end of Bourke St which we visited at the end of our visit. There was definitely no need to order a take away coffee at this cafe as I could have relaxed with a dine in one! They have really put a lot thought into making it an enjoyable experience for parents, being parents to two young children themselves.
This cafe will definitely become one of my regulars even though it's not local to us. Oh and the cupcakes.... I've never been a cupcake person as I've always found them too sweet but these cupcakes are not too sweet, very moist and delicious. Beautifully presented too on a stand and glass dome. Forget the pills this place should be your remedy. Dropped into this place on opening day, the place was packed and you can see why. Their coffee is Devine (creamy and smooth just the way I like it), their cupcakes are heavenly, the smiles and service are a fantastic and the atmosphere is lovely. And family friendly. Well done Sarah and Chris.
The Best. Im a local and know all the Cafe's and this one is my new favourite. The coffee is great, staff are friendly , cupcakes are the best I have had. I have been impressed by the limited savoury options and chatting to them they are continuing to add. My Kids also love it here... Milkshakes and cupcakes as a weekly treat keeps them happy. Thanks for turning a dead spot into a vibrant spot. my new regular :)
I stop here almost every day on my way to work for a coffee and I can't say I've had a bad one yet! Cupcakes and croissant are die for. Everyone who hasn't been yet is missing out on something amazing!

Loved the atmosphere. Given that the Sweet Remedy has been open for such a short time, there is already a warm and inviting feel about the place. You are quickly greeted by the staff, nothing is too much trouble and service is prompt and friendly.
I mostly order lemongrass and ginger tea, I am not sure what they did to the tea,but it was amazing! The lemon and ginger packed a punch!
The bean they use for the coffee has a subtle, new taste.
An addition to the amazing array of cakes and cafe food are the chocolate spoons designed and created by Stirred.
Once you place your sumptuous, rich chocolate spoon into your hot milk, the chocolate starts to swirl and flavour your milk evenly. Amazingly it is not over sweet and in the words of a famous bear in a children' s story, " just right".

New Cafe in Leederville. One of the best cupcakes i have had. Had the pleasure of experiencing them before the cafe opened and now i can just pop in for one anytime PLUS a coffee now. Coffee is absolutely amazing and the owner has set higher standards so definitely looking forward to see all the positive changes in the near future.
The owners are lovely and friendly and extremely attentive to ensure your experience at The Sweet Remedy is A+ whether you're dining in or take away.
Definitely recommend to anyone. Kid friendly too! Bonus!!! What kid, and adult, don't enjoy a cupcake? Plus they do cupcake decorating sessions for kids.

Lovely little cafe with a great family atmosphere.. Today I met a friend at The Sweet Remedy Cafe. We both took our children along with us.
The staff greeted us when we arrived and we very friendly.
We ordered a "Decorate your own cupcake" for the kids which was a big hit! A tasty Vanilla cupcake with a small bag of goodies to decorate with. The children loved it!
I ordered a Dark Chocolate, stirred hot chocolate and a Ferrero Cupcake! OMG! Divine! If you love chocolate you will love both of these things! I was lucky enough to have a cupcake that was still warm out of the oven!
I would definitely recommend this cafe to friends and family and believe that Sarah and Chris (the owners) have done a fantastic job in their first week!
If I was going to make any suggestions it would be to possibly put some chairs and tables outside on the warmer days or for people who like the fresh air.
Apart from that everything was great and I look forward to taking my hubby in for a cupcake and a coffee very soon!!! Well Done guys!
Leederville's New Kid On The Block. I am very excited for the arrival of a new coffee option in the Leederville area. The location out of the main strip makes for a more suburban vibe, which I love. Good coffee, the staff are very friendly, had a delicious croissant too. The owners are enthusiastic and I could see they loved interacting with the customers while taking pride in what they do. After their first week open, I can't wait to see the new things they add along the way. I also have my eye on one of those delicious hot chocolates for my next visit. I will be back!
Little piece of heaven that's new to the area, the best part about this cafe is that its child friendly! Amazing coffee and the banana bread is a must.

I could not wait to come and see this new little cafe that I have heard so much about via their Facebook page. As soon as u walk in the atmosphere is epic.. Nice music playing, gorgeous cupcakes all lined up, amazing colours in the decor.. Everything matches perfectly down to the baby chino cups!!! I was amongst 12 dine in guests with people popping in for take aways, as it was my first time there I wanted to really soak in the atmosphere. Every customer was happy and I noticed that whenever someone left from a table they would stop to say thanku to the staff.. No that says something right there!!! I took my 3yr old daughter here as we were having a girls day together and these seamed like the perfect place after our concert as I knew that they had cupcakes my daughter could decorate. She absolutely loved doing it and also had a baby chino that she expressed as " mmmmm yummy mummy"!!! I had a croissant, lemon meringue cupcake (OMG!!!!!!) and a hot chocolate.. All this came to $20!!! Such a great price for me and my daughter.. And satisfied every taste bud possible. One of the male staff members even commented on how pretty my daughter looked in her new dress and was really interactive with all the staff and customers!! The owners would even politely guesturw to waiting customers that they will be with them shortly and to take a seat :) this kind of service is truly what we miss in the world and is such a breathe of fresh air. I will be back again and again when I am in this area!! I can't wait to try all the different cupcakes! Ps. My only point to pick would be more savoury options even thou its a cupcake/coffee based place, I'm sure people would love a few more options and I'm sure you will provide this as its only your first week!! Loved it! I went to meet a friend and loved the bright fresh feel the cafe has. I was welcomed instantly upon entering the cafe and received great service which, I feel is a rarity in Perth. Im always a bit dubious of trying somewhere new for coffee as Im a bit of a coffee snob but was happy when i received a long mac that was seriously delicious, it was so nice it made me go out of my way the following day to introuduce my husband to the cafe, He ordered a long black which he raved about. We also had a beautifully moist gluten free cupcake it was a hard choice as there was a pretty amazing selection & I was happy to hear they were baked fresh on site. I would definitely stop by this cafe again and when I'm living back in Perth I think it might even become my local as long as I didn't get carried away by their tempting sweet treats.
Have visited The Sweet Remedy Cafe twice this week to meet friends and was suitably impressed. The service and attention to detail was surprising even when I visited on their first day of trade. They have certainly thought about the little things so that each customer has a 'wow' moment. The staff and couple who appeared to be the owners were warm and friendly and no question was left unanswered without a big smile. I'm not the worlds biggest coffee snob, but I can tell the diff between a good cup and a bad one - and this place def has good coffee. My wife enjoys the leaf variety of hot drinks aka tea and felt they catered for tea drinkers too. We will definitely be back and looking forward to seeing this little gem come into her own.
Love to find a gem!. And I think this new little cafe hits the spot. I rate my cafés for 1) coffee and 2) atmosphere and the sweet remedy has both! There is a lot of love that goes into the coffee experience and it certainly pays off, as the coffee is served just how I like it - smooth! The vibe is relaxed, but light, breezy and airy. The service is friendly and even though I didn't try this time, the cupcakes look divine. As this is a new opening, I expect the atmosphere will only improve as this family business settles in. The Ferrero Rocher Cupcake it THE best cupcake I've ever tasted in my life. So delicious it makes the Ferreo Rocher on top taste bad. Ridiculously good! My kids loved decorating their own cupcakes in store. Loved our experience and will definitely be going back for more!!! Homemade goodness!!

Wonderful new addition to Leederville. I caught up with friends at The Sweet Remedy on Thursday. I was surprised to learn that this cafe only started trading two days prior otherwise I wouldn't have been able to tell. There was a lively atmosphere in the shop, all of the staff were thrilled to be serving, and the owners were excited to be doing what they do (I got the impression that they really love coffee, cakes and service).
My wife went separately with our two children to meet friends later in the afternoon. The cafe was child friendly and there was lots of room for a pram (I'm not sure if this was a design feature or just coincidental).
The coffee was superb! I know that this is difficult to get right early on, using a brand new coffee machine. But not for these guys. I ordered a long black and observed how the barista made it. Rather than mindlessly dumping shots into a cup and filling it up with some hot water, the barista added temperature controlled water first and then carefully dripped the espresso into that. The result was a perfect coffee with a crema that I have not seen on a long black anywhere in Perth. Following that, I ordered a Pour Over which was really good.
The cupcakes were delicious and the kids loved them of course! (apparently the Sweet Remedy do a "make your own cupcake" thing for kids). There was even a gluten free option (chocolate hazelnut).
Finally, the design and decor were wonderful. The walls are a bit sparse at the moment but I know this is going to be fixed up as they tell stories using photographs to create a real homely feel.
The overall impression that I got was that the owners want to create a vibrant community hub as they serve up some of finest coffee and cupcakes in Perth. I think that this will soon become a favourite for all of the local residents.
We're sure to come back.
I popped in & was made to feel at home. Relaxed vibe & great coffee - it's worth passing a few other cafés to get the good blend. There's a fresh assortment of cupcakes on offer, I think this place has started off with the basics done very well & can only get better.

Popped in for a cupcake and coffee on what turned out to be the opening day for this new coffee shop in the northern end of Oxford St & was very happily surprised. Coffee was very good, even took the time to ask exactly how I like my coffee - I'm a bit fussy - and love the colour scheme, unique and inspired.
Looking forward to going back soon, would love to see an expanded savoury range for lunchtime munchies.

Great little cafe, buzzing with awesome atmosphere and friendly staff. Coffee is superb, not bitter and full of flavour. Cupcakes are amazing. Love the salted caramel and also the honeycomb. I will go out of my way to get a coffee there when i visit Perth.
I ordered 24 cupcakes with rainbow colours and LGBT+ in STEM logos for 5th July (LGBT+ in STEM Day). With only 2 days notice, I sent Sweet Remedy photos of my friend's awesome designs from last year. The cakes turned out beautifully. Little arched rainbows on fluffy clouds of piped white icing on some, and others with piped rainbow swirls of icing with the LGBT+ in STEM Day logo. They even did some gluten-free/vegan/dairy-free versions for the dietary restricted. The team at work and guests were very impressed. The cakes were yummy also - my favourite is the red velvet. I've been back to try some of their other flavours since .... the cherry ripe cupcake mmmm.
I come here 5 days a week and love the coffee and the service. They often go the extra mile and deliver to my shop if we are both busy. They are very community minded and supportive. This family run business is truly an asset for the Leederville community.

We love The Sweet Remedy. They are friendly, have great service and consistently deliver great coffee everytime. Our kid loves exploring their child friendly back yard, the cubby and slide is a hit. Make sure you try their banana bread!
