Review Peanut Butter Bar - Leichhardt

Love the dog father (?) burger with peanut whiskey sauce. The loaded fries and skillet cake were great too. Very friendly service when I was undecided between the options, will be back!

Food was absolutely delicious. The burgers were great; the peanut butter sauce goes well with the fried chicken. The deserts were amazing - the cheesecake wasn't too rich, so it paired well with the peanut butter topping. The lady who greeted us at the register was very friendly and attentive, and made sure our table was sanitised before seating. The staff were quick to bring out our food, despite it being busy. I liked the vibe of the bar, with the loud music, and diner style food, it's a great atmosphere for a fun night.

Cool concept, nice interior, and friendly service. The brownies in the sundae were not that good, a bit hard and didn’t taste fresh baked. The vanilla ice cream tasted a bit like the inside of a choc top from the cinema - not bad, but overall wouldn’t order again.

Wow! The menu and quality of products are superb. We shared a dessert, but warning if you’re not a sweet tooth - the food is very rich. I think I had a food coma for a few days afterwards… but the smooth warm consistency of the peanut butter was too good to resist. Next time I probably wouldn’t get a shake as well, definitely too much sugar…

Absolutely delicious food. The fries with PH sauce were so good we ordered two. Dessert size was smaller than expected but delicious. Overall awesome, however, the prices were a bit too high for the items.

Don't believe my review just go! Great food. Amazing desserts and the peanut butter whiskey is bloody amazing!

Really nice in a very strange way, all the food was fantastic. The brisket burger was fantastic and the peanut whisky sauce was a pleasant surprise, epresso martini was delish. Can't wait to go back to try the wings.

Absolutely love PPB and the amazing creations they bring out! The staff are always so beautiful and they offer the best cheat meals and variety you can ask for. Perfect for vegans, gym goers and everyone, the cookie skillets are something else! And the cocktails and brownies, and pancakes ok everything! Love you guys and I will always be obsessed with your menu🔥🔥

A group of friends and I had dinner nearby and happened to walk past this lovely store curious. We ended up ordering the peanut butter loaded fries and the apple crumble with peanut butter store. Obviously the name 'peanut butter bar' we expected it was targetted at peanut butter lovers. The loaded fries were crispy and very interesting in flavour, it had pickled onions, a lot of chilly and a savoury peanut butter sauce. It tasted weird but in an interesting way. The apple crumble was delicious, I personally preferred it without the rich peanut butter sauce.

I've been to peanut butter bar 3 times over the past year, each time hoping for better or friendlier customer service. Every time I dine in, the staff make customers feel rushed. They don't know which of the ice creams are gluten free & do not ask how you would like food served etc.

I would love to say the unfriendliness & rushed rude atmosphere was only due to COVID however that's simply not the case as it is the same every time.

I ordered the cookie skillet with ice cream and PB sauce on the side. It came as a cold cookie on a plate with the sauce and ice cream on the side (1/2 ain't bad :/). Not ideal on a cold winters day.

They forgot my friends order of peanut butter sauce on the side and she had to ask for it. They barked at us to get our own cutlery from the counter, made my friend feel like a burden and embarrassed as she ordered a cookie and coffee but it wasn't the minimum of $10 eftpos so she chose a brownie instead even though she wanted the cookie. A suggestion for adding an ice cream or something would have helped.

No one knew (aside from the 'rushed' owner which of the ice creams were Gluten free and ordered me to wait 5mins as they rushed around & attempted to communicate with each other.

Unless the customer service improves I won't be back and neither will my friends. It's a great concept and I gave it 3 chances but "People come for the food, yet stay for the service (or leave for lack of).

When the future looks nuuuuutty! 🤩

I am sure if you live in Sydney, you would know about this place. I am also sure that if you live in Australia and are a foodie, you would also have heard about this place. And I am absolutely sure that that if you haven’t heard about this place, then… duuuude, WHAT ARE YOU EVEN DOING WITH YOUR LIFE.

The Peanut Butter Bar opened in 2017 because they felt that the love for peanut butter should be waaaaay beyond a simple single jar - I cannot agree more on that.

So, what did they decide to do? They decided to come up with the world’s FIRST peanut butter tap! Yes, an actual tap!

Of course that it became so massive popular that I would even dare saying that the life for peanut butter lovers that dare to visit and drink from that fountain has never been the same. Yes, drinking some liquid gold is a lifetime experience and I couldn’t miss on visiting first on my trip to Sydney!

PB on toast? Boring. PB cookies? Meh. PB in bananas/apples. Too average 💁‍♀️ let’s bring those PB burgers, loaded fries, share platters, cookie skillets, pancakes and aaaaaaall the nutty goodness pouring over! (Also, love how their meals are also high in protein and they have many vegan and allergen friendly options!)

The place is located just right in the CBD but trust me, it is a place you don’t want to miss AT ALL and it can be reached with a 1.30h walk or a 30 minute drive. I would personally advise the walk since it’s a great change for you to get to know the city! They actually have currently 2 stores and the one I visited was the HQ at Leichhardt, but there is also another one in Revesby.

The place is very unique once you spot it and not only is beautiful and arranged with the colours and modern look but is actually very welcoming and catchy! it has that chick style that everyone loves and you will be promptly welcomed once you come inside 👌 Seriously if one thing that these guys have is an outstanding customer service! I have had great welcomes in the past but I have to say that the hosts were absolutely incredible and I could see that not just towards me but everyone in the venue was happily enjoying their time in there!

After going through the menu and asking for advice on what to try since all the options seriously seem incredible and out of this world, we decided to go for a both the savoury items that they have recently in December added to the menu and also the sweet, incredible and creative desserts that they have!

Here’s what we had:

- The PBB Burger - it’s two 180g butter marbled beef patties, with two cheddar cheese slices, 4 maple glazed smoky bbq bacon, along with some secret PBB sauce & house pickled cucumbers. my friend had this burger because of the lactose content of it and he had the option of choosing between this one and two other meat based burgers that they have but since this was the most popular one and the one that the staff recommended he went for it and absolutely loved it. served on a milk bun not only do i have to admit that the looks are mouth drooling but he was absolutely in love with the burger and cannot recommend it any more!

- Grass Grazer Burger - this was my chosen burger and it was a 100% plant based patty from the bran Beyond Meat that I have personally tried in the past and absolutely love it. Did taste the consistency ingredients everything about it is stunning and more than approved and it came with something that I cannot resist to which is caramelised onion 👏👏👏 seriously the best! They also added some lettuce, tomato and house pickled cucumber, Like any other burger would have in they have made this plant-based goodness with vegan herb aioli that was again a winner! 😍 there was also some tomato relish and it is served on a rustic bun. I must admit that even being a sweet person this was absolutely terrific and if you do visit I highly recommend... you not to eat anything for the previous days so you can tackle everything and devour there is goodnesses 😂

- Vegan Peanut Butter Nutter Loaded Fries - I actually wasn’t going to try there and loaded fries but the owner said that it was an absolute must and I have to say with my upmost humble opinion that it truly is. These were absolutely terrific in taste portion and they are an absolute must try if you visit too! Don’t let the size of the meal scare you 😂trust me you want this in your life - these crispy thick cut chips loaded with their secret PBB sauce! The source is absolutely outstanding and I am not entirely sure what they make it with but I could eat that every day of my life 😍 It also came wit pickled red onion and coriander That I am personally not a fan but I must admit that it enhances the flavour and it gives a little extra to the fries and you can always put them on the side if you think that they are too much. To top it off it also came with fried shallots and 👏👏👏 LOVE IT!

- Vegan Peanut Butter Berry Pancakes - 3 high protein pancakes, gluten free & no refined sugar, dad were absolutely terrific again in size, taste and consistency! They are actually quite thin pancakes and a pink its self I don’t know what they use for the dough but it’s quite gooey! Each pancake comes smothered in peanut butter from their own tap and then again with maple syrup and the final product is one of the best ones I have tried! It comes served with vegan gelato that is a raspberry sorbet - very creamy and great taste 👏 would absolutely recommend too and definitely very filling!

- Triple Choc Cookie Skillet - my friend had this gooey triple choc cookie dough baked in a skillet, served with a scoop of vanilla gelato & a shot of peanut butter. It looked outstanding and so mouth drooling as you can see from the shots that I was VERY jealous that I didn’t get one. Unfortunately at the moment they don’t have a vegan option so I couldn’t try it but they promised me it could be ready for my trip to Sydney again at the end of the year 👏😍😂 I WANT YOU TO KEEP THAT PROMISE 👏 either way my friend loved it even though he thought the size could have been a little bigger - I mean, who doesn’t love cookies right? 😂

- Vegan Triple Choc Brownie Sunday - we also shared a cup filled with warm brownie pieces, that will possibly be the most gooey brownies you’ll ever try in your life 😍👌🤗 the taste consistency and texture was just right and decadent and it came with a bottom on peanut butter! Yes! Incredible thinking 👏 and also the right amount of gelato that I think it was the vegan bounty flavour that they have on display (and that you can even get a tub home!). On top of it all it came again with more peanut butter and topped with caramelised peanuts that I wish there were more but it was quite reasonable and fair in amount. Good size and very well presented, would recommend it too!

- Peanut Butter Almond Latte - we tried something very unique to this store and had our regular almond latte order a little bit extra and served with peanut butter! They basically make a normal almond latte (they use Milk Lab!) and then smother it with peanut butter from their fountain. Definitely something unique and that I have never tried before and I couldn’t be able to describe the flavour as it is quite interesting and I would definitely recommend giving it a go if you pop by!

- Peanut Butter Jelly Spider Soda - my friend also tried something different and definitely recommend by the staff and a best seller - an ice cream float! This is a chilled beverage that consists of ice cream in a soft drink! Great in looks and definitely enjoyed by him, and I can only wish there was a vegan version too 😂😍

At Peanut Butter Bar, they believe in satisfaction through indulgent wellness and they promote people to treat themselves with food that is truly delicious and indulgent. They have been featured all over the world in multiple magazines, articles and online websites and they are one of a kind. They literally and figuratively stole my heart and I cannot thank them enough for such a great nutty experience. Christine and her partner are amazing and I will definitely be back ❤️ MUST VISIT FOR SURE!

I’m so excited to be writing this post! I heard about the Peanut Butter Bar a few years ago and completely forgot about it. I saw them pop up on my social media again a few weeks back and made a point of going as I’m a huge Peanut Butter fan!. Presented in a beautiful booklet, the menu features amazing pictures of the dishes. It made it so hard to pick a dish as I wanted to try everything. The Peanut Butter bar features a mix of sweet and savoury food, most of which have an element of peanut butter.

OMG THIS WAS EPIC AND NEXT LEVEL!! Everyone knows my love for peanut butter is true, so I’ve been planning my trip here when finally visiting Sydney for MONTHS and it didn’t disappoint!!

Not kidding, they have their own peanut butter fountain, and so many delicious choices - but couldn’t go past the basic and traditional for a first time! OMG we need this in Melbourne immediately!!! 💖😍😘👌🍪🥜🍨

Pictured is the Salted Peanut Butter & Choc Chip Cookie (with protein gelato and peanut butter)

My second time at the peanut butter bar, I tried different items this time and they all were very satisfying: double choc cookie skillet, double choc peanut butter cheesecake, chocolate lava cake, sticky date pudding and chocolate mousse. I am leaving this place full and happy!

A cute dessert bar for any peanut butter addict! I ordered the peanut butter cup cookie with peanut butter sauce on top which was delicious. I think my favourite so far has probably been the brownie though, which you can also get with a chocolate/Nutella like sauce
Chewie
Ordered the berry protein pancake with vegan bounty icecream ($16.50), this is definitely a dish best shared. It was incredibly and filling and rich. I wasn't sure what to expect with the pancake itself, but it wasn't too overly sweet or dense. I suppose for me though the texture was a bit strange (i think they use oat flour?) and in hindsight I would ask for the peanut butter on the side as you can ours was absolutely drenched!

As a post fitness show expo treat, the Macro mike team decided to stop by the Peanut Butter bar! I chose to split a red velvet cookie skillet and the salted peanut butter & choc chip cookie skillet. I will have to say the red velvet was my favourite as I found it to be the perfect balance of chocolate and peanut butter. Whilst I found the other skillet to be a little to salty for my liking. Still tasted great, but just not what I would usually opt for.

The atmosphere of the place only added to the positive experience, I loved the exposed brick and outdoor area. It allowed for the group of us to relax and all sit around a table.

I definitely recommend this place if you have a sweet tooth! There’s a decadent treat to satisfy everyone’s stomach

This place was buzzing with life and had a great atmosphere where I felt very comfortable. The peanut butter cheesecake I had was great however expect an overload of peanut butter and cream (which is expected). I also ordered a peanut butter latte which was a little too rich but if you’re a peanut butter lover go ahead.

A friend of mine took me to this place and I was surprised by th crowd at the place on a Sunday evening, the menu focuses on being diet friendly to people who mainly focus on maintaining their diet and a physique with a touch of Peanut Butter on all their dishes.
Recommended for Gym and health freaks
Tried the Triple Chocolate Brownie, Tiramisu Mousse, Hot Chocolate and a Peanut Butter Chocolate chip Cookie.
Tanya
Ordered some dessert from this joint. Got the peanut butter cheese cake, tiramisu and the baked Reese cheese cake. The desserts were ok but nothing special. They lacked abit of flavour and were pretty dense. For the price you pay they were extremely expensive ($16 per cake/ice cream). I guess that’s what you pay for a “healthier” dessert option. I’d recommend the Reese cheese cake out of these options, this was the most rich but likely the most unhealthiest for you too.

EDIT: Tried their chocolate brownie sundae and WOW! This was delicious. Melted in my mouth and kept me craving more! Have popped this up to a 4 star as some of their dishes are quite delicious.

As a peanut butter lover, I was like a kid in a candy shop when I first went in. Almost every single item comes with or is infused with peanut butter!
We ordered cookie skillet, peanut butter cheesecake (cheat version), sticky sate pudding and peanut butter chocolate milkshake. Oh my god the cheesecake, sticky date pudding and milkshake were to die for! Simply full of peanut butter flavour and they make really great cheat day treats.

Cheat day can’t get any better than visiting this shop.
So many choices you can have but you’ll have to burnt the extra calories at the gym right after this visit 😁
They have coffee, protein base gelato, protein cheese cake and you know what peanut butter is one of dominant flavour.
If you are peanut butter lover, you can indulge your self in this dessert parlor.
Piccolo was strong, I added vanilla ice cream, and I ready enjoyed the affogato.
Reese cookie and cream pair with salted peanut butter brownie was awesome.
Coffee almond and red velvet peanut butter also nice combo
Sydney Food Lover
I love, love, love anything with peanuts! So when I heard about this place, I was pretty desperate to try it. I ordered the peanut butter cheese cake and a berry protein smoothie. The smoothie was very icy, not great and a tad expensive for what I got. The cheesecake was ok, nothing amazing and to be honest, I’ve had better peanut flavoured cheesecakes. I felt this one didn’t have as strong flavour as I was expecting.

🥞Peanut Butter Heaven🥞
💥 @peanutbutterbar 💥
.
After a pretty heavy workout i was trying to figure out where to go and what to eat and then i remember i had a craving for Peanut Butter i hadn't cured. So i headed over to Leichhardt for some Golden Peanut Butter goodness.

I got the Peanut Butter Banana Protein Pancakes, some Protein Choc Chip Cookies and also a Iron Maiden Beast Mode Protein Shake to finish it off.

I had been wanting to come back for a while and finally remembered to and omg it was delicious AF. Not only packed with protein but was sorta good for you at the same time. The shake was bloody amazing just wanted to keep on sipping on it all day. And now the cookie, that Cookie was pretty nice after being drizzled in Liquid Peanut Butter.

________🥞_____🍪_____🥞________

👍🏼/👎🏻- Heard all the hype on social media and decided to give it a try. Definitely not all that... over hyped and just not worth it to me. My friends ordered coffee and desserts themselves and felt like it was below par . I ordered an almond latte which was watery and not pleasant; the guy making the coffee seemed quite clueless. I also ordered a vegan cheesecake. Being vegan myself I’m not very fussy and and quite easy to please when it comes to vegan treats however this was just plain awful and had a weird off fridge taste like it had sat there for weeks, gross. I really struggled to finish my food despite how nice it may look in photos. Massive disappointment considering how limited the options were and how expensive everything was. Staff are also very uninviting considering how empty the place was, it really wouldn’t hurt to smile.

Food: 1/5, and that’s being generous
Presentation: 2/5
Service: 1/5
Location: 5/5

Body builders and gym junkies heaven! Sweet treats low fat and low in sugar! Almost everything is made in house and all high in protein and low in fats or sugar. Treat yourself without the guilt.

service wasn’t the best, but I wasn’t too fazed by that. they have a range of delicious peanut butter flavoured (mostly) in the window i wanted to try all them all! they also have a range of gelato flavours. they use protein and less refined sugars in their products. the ice cream was nice but not comparable to proper gelato, however definitely a good healthier alternative. it reminded me of the halo tops ice cream.

the reese’s cheesecake was realllyyy good, and the peanut butter sauce was so good! i got the red velvet skillet brownie which tasted a bit odd by itself but with the ice cream and the sauce it was good, especially considering it was healthy!

i really would like to try their mousse, apple crumble, other cakes and the protein shakes.

Peanut Butter Banana Pancakes : 😍 Amazing
Double Choc Cheesecake : 😕 Okay
Mint Hot Chocolate : 😊 Good
Red velvet Gelato : 😊 Good
Salted Caramel Gelato: 😁 Great
Butterscotch Snickers : 😍 Amazing
Coffee Almond Gelato : 😍 Amazing

So much mixed feelings here. I really loved some aspects like the gelato flavours that we tried and the pancakes, however, there were some things I also strongly disliked. The cheesecake was really hard to eat (I don’t know how to explain it better). Service wasn’t that great either. The hot liquid peanut butter shots are amazing though so I’m coming back for that guaranteed.
Susan
Reading the reviews I didn’t hold any expectations so I wouldn’t be disappointed. Service can be better and I reckon a simple smile can go a long way especially when it’s dead quiet. I went for lunch so I assume I missed out on some dishes that come out later in the day...? The peanut butter pancakes are a must and the honey complements the dish really well. The double choc cheesecake was okay, I could taste the protein in it, so heads up for those who do not like the taste of protein at all.
Coffee almond and Butterscotch snickers gelato were delicious and a must! The PB caramel gelato was okay. But I didn’t quite like the red velvet one.

* I think I was charged about $5 for a shot of PB (with out the gelato) which was about 1-2tbsp in qty... I don’t know if that was a miscalculation, but just check when you pay because that’s a bit ridiculous if it’s only for PB *

I've been to a lot of places that tell you they're healthy but they're actually either bad in taste or they are just unhealthy technically. But this one is sooooo different. Everything I had here was beautiful. I loved the peanut butter cheesecake. It's their specialty and it's amazing. I also had one of their vegan items, they tasted great as well.
The staff is friendly and helpful in deciding. The food is fresh and the coffee will make you happy.

Ambience 4/5
Food 5/5
Quality 5/5
Value for money 5/5
Coffee 4.5/5 (becauSe no syrups were available)
Staff 5/5
Concept 6/5 (they're really smart for having a business like that)

A fun dessert bar specialise in peanut butter flavour! You can also add hot peanut butter lava to anything! Pretty cool huh 😎 The dessert portion size is very generous, rich and delicious. A great hang out place for the sweet tooth.
Eatwithmyfoodsafari
Galletta was quite popular in its day and a recent visit to Peanut Butter Bar in Leichhardt on the site of the former cafe was a stroll down memory lane, seeing couples lingering over a post-dinner coffee and cake and groups of friends chatting away over tables laden with desserts. What distinguishes Peanut Butter Bar as a uniquely 21st century operation is the vegan and “protein” treats and collagen infused gelato. Now if you’re neither vegan or a bodybuilder, don’t let those labels turn you off because the desserts are truly delicious, and if you’re a peanut butter fan than this is definitely the place for you! We shared a Reese’s peanut butter cheesecake and peanut butter tiramisu; the tiramisu is transformed in something completely different to a traditional tiramisu with the addition of peanut butter, and the cheesecake rich and decadent. Shout-out to the guy serving behind the counter who was so friendly (and ever so patient as we pondered over what to order from the many choices!)
FoodLuva
We tried Raspberry, Chocolate and Peanut Butter Salted Caramel . The latter being the best by far.
It’s not too bad. But not in a rush to get back.
YUM! Loved the pancakes smothered in peanut butter! And the icecream!
The cookie sandwich was a little dry, but I suppose that comes from using healthier ingredients! The healthy brownie was surprisingly decent. Love the concept, and want to hold my head under the peanut butter fountain forever!

Peanut butter heaven ❤
Wide variety of items on the menu. There's shakes, pancakes, cakes baked daily, cookies, gelato, coffee, you name it! 99.9999% has peanut butter in it. It's peanut butter heaven. All made with quality ingredients. Great for gym junkies or for those who are health conscious without the guilt. Plenty of seats, great service and to top it off, they close late. We went after dinner and it was easy to find parking. Interior is warm and inviting. Psst, for the beauty conscious, their gelato has collagen in it ☺

*peanut butter tiramisi - light and creamy. Just perfect ❤
*vegan choc raspberry tart
*high protein brownie sundae - popular item
*peanut butter banana protein pancake - great for breakfast. I could eat this every morning ❤
*salted peanut butter & choc chip cookie - amazing ❤
*choc peanut butter nut protein shake - so peanuty, reminds me of a snickers bar ❤
*beetroot latte

What a cavernous place this is. You wouldnt guess it by the facade. A nice hangout indoor n out.

The choc mousse 3/5, was fine. Then i had to go be adventurous n got the blondie (brownie) with sweet potato base, supposedly the healthy version. Much as i tried to keep an open mind, i couldnt just couldnt swallow it. That said, other peeps might like it so please dont be put off by my comments. Ah, they also sell lots n lots of gelato.

This is a place before or after the gym or even just a place to get a nice healthy protein packed treat.

Their liquid peanut butter tap is what dreams are made of, the smooth flowing nutty goodness is ready to be drizzled all over the high protein snacks. Every meal can be jazzed up and taken to the next level when it's been the Peanut Butter is smeared all over it.

My recommendation of choice would be the warm Apple Crumble and Peanut Sundae, but let's be real no one ever could turn down something as deliciously good looking as this.

P.S. Be sure to visit with a few mates as you'll be overwhelmed with choices and you'll want to taste them all.

The best thing to come out since sliced bread. This epic hideout boasts a fountain with peanut butter!! It's a great healthy alternative for sweet tooths, and if protein isn't your jam, theres a cheat day selection too. Owners and run by a local family you get great service with a local feel. Without a doubt one of my new favs!
So I recently came back from a week-long trip up the east coast of Australia with the lovely @thaliasfoodieeats, our first stop was Sydney and the Mecca for Peanut Butter lovers from all over Australia. You can tell I was really excited! 🙈
***
🏋️ Where was this adventure?
@peanutbutterbar
.
🥜 What did I eat?
Enough peanut butter to satisfy my intense cravings for the rest of my trip and then some!
- Peanut Butter Banana pancakes
- Peanut Butter Cheesecake
- Berry Cashew Cheesecake
- Salted Peanut Butter and Choc Chip Cookie with a scoop of Protein Gelato
And a Gainz4Dayz Protein Shake to wash it all down! 💪🏾
.
This was one hell of a feed! Due to the high level of protein in every item, we were full and satisfied really damn fast, a lot faster than what we're used to which was a welcome relief I must say. There's nothing I hate more than leaving a restaurant still hungry and wanting more. This time we left completely full but still wanting more! 😅
.
The food itself was mindnumbingly good, the peanut butter pancakes for instance were the best pancakes I've ever had the pleasure of eating in my whole life, with only the healthiest ingredients in it, you would be forgiven for confusing it for junk food, but no these pancakes are full of protein powder and peanut butter, the best things to any gym junkie.
.
So if you're a peanut butter fan, and let's be honest, who the bloody hell isn't? Do yourself a favour and go and get healthy levels of fat at the @peanutbutterbar, trust me you won't regret it!

[invite] Bianca: A whole cafe dedicated to the delightful peanut spread? Shiver me timbers!! When I got wind of this recent opening late last year the excitement was very real! Peanut Butter Bar opened at the end of 2017 with a focus on healthy and not so healthy treats. I’m going to be honest, I was sceptical at first. Healthy Peanut butter based treats? Protein pancakes? I was concerned!

The shop is very big, for a dessert place.
Staff was friendly

The blondie a bit dry, but peanut butter creme brulee was so good, strongly recommended
Seems like they make cakes, very unique cakes, but very price, $150....

The shop is on the Main Street, have to look for parking.
Mira Upsetton
Tried red velvet peanut butter and vegan bounty.
Tasted very average if not more bland.
I get the attempt of healthy dessert but it wasn’t good, maybe the cakes are better but the gelato was sub par.

Also, we got ice cream in a tub and there was plenty of seating in store. If anything it was a quiet night. However when we asked if we could sit down to eat we were refused and told to leave the store. Sub par service and we were made to feel as undervalued customers. Definitely not going back since we were treated poorly and the food was sub par. Very poor customer service choices made by the manager of the night, the casual staff seemed nice though unfortunately. But the manager was extremely rude.

Perfect for PB lovers 🥜
Tried the ricotta cheesecake 🧀🍰😵‼️🆘✅✅✅
PB red velvet ice cream was also delicious🍦
Recommend trying as it is the only peanut butter bar in syd

When I heard there was a Peanut Butter Bar in Sydney I was so excited! Of course I was going to visit it while I was in Sydney because I love Peanut Butter!!!! These guys have everything! Protein gelato, protein sorbet, protein pancakes, protein waffles, protein shakes, protein cookies, protein cakes and vegan protein options too. Its a gym junkies heaven because everything is full of protein. Whoever said clean eating doesnt taste good needs to visit this place. My favourites were the shakes (Gainz for days and the Choc peanut butter nut), the peanut butter banana protein pancakes and the peanut butter cheesecake! I also tried the vegan berry cheesecake but that tasted too healthy for my liking and the choc chip cookie which I wasn't much of a fan either as I found it tasted too much like protein powder.
Sydney Girl
I'm a huge peanut butter fan and travelled a long way to go here, and unfortunately I was really disappointed. I had the vegan chocolate brownie and it was tasteless and dry. And it had such a small amount of peanut butter poured on top. My friends had the ice cream and non vegan brownie and they said it was good but not amazing.
Princess Greedy Guts
I was so excited when I heard about the opening of this place & it was as good as I had imagined. There were so many gelati, cakes, pancakes, shakes & more to indulge in with little guilt. Everything is made on the premises. There are also vegan options in the gelati & cakes so you can have vegan shake too. The vegan chocolate raspberry tart is so good its as indulgent as a non vegan version with less guilt and the gelato were also delicious. Love the peanut butter "tap" that flows too! You can also order cakes for any occasion in various shapes too. There is plenty of indoor and balcony seating & feels light, airy & relaxing. Loving this place more and more. The cheat days desserts (which are not as healthy & like normal desserts) are absolutely delicious! The reeses peanut butter cheesecake is decadent yet light. The peanut butter baked ricotta cheesecake is like papa's but with peanut butter flavours. Tiramisu is peanut buttered up and has a good hit of espresso and choc mousse is chocolatey and light & fluffy. Staff are so friendly & helpful. Love it!
Lollieats
I’m the biggest fan of Peanut Butter, so when I heard about this place, it was on the top of my list to try out. It didn’t disappoint but you have to enjoy pure peanut butter with no sugar. The selection was outrageous and I will have to go back for more as once was not enough to visit 😉 The best thing there was the peanut butter on tap 😁 yes, you read it right, ON TAP. Where can I get one of those 😂 All in all amazing, spacious cafe, with friendly service and a good wholesome treat.
Brunonono...
Definitely a worthwhile try for those that want something out of left field...or well hid their guilty gluttony under a veil of "protein" healthiness :)

We don't know what to say? Is this actually healthy? We're not doctors/nutritionist?

Anyways? Interesting yes? Will we come back probably not but sure maybe it's your cup of tea...?
Forkit
Love this new concept peanut butter theme cafe! All desserts feature high-protein peanut butter that taste amazing! We had the peanut butter choc chip gelato and the skillet choc chip cookie. Both were amazing! They weren't too sweet and the peanut butter drizzle turned everything up a notch with the savory note. Huge thumbs up!

When I heard about this one I was all over it! This healthy protein inspired peanut butter bar popped up in Leichhardt recently and it sure took the insta scene by storm. Christina who owns the dessert bar has designed all of the Gelato and it’s home-made! All of the cakes are designed with minimum sugar content and packed full of protein and are made on the premises.
I highly recommend trying the pancakes if your not into the health scene but still want to check it out! They do have a couple of normal desserts which can be enjoyed like the Peanut Butter Chocolate Lava cake! I also really enjoyed the Peanut Butter Cheesecake, so definitely try that one too!Overall some dishes you could taste were extremely healthy, but there are a few like the pancakes (which only contain 4 ingredients and are sweetened naturally by the banana slices in between the pancakes) were better than some normal pancakes i've had at cafes around Sydney!Love the idea of this bar and would definitely return and I want to check out their gelato next time!
Thanks Foodies Incognito for tagging me along!!!

This place is an amazing option for those who are clean eaters and who are obsessed with peanut butter. The menu offers gelato, raw desserts and shakes. The prices are reasonable and the desserts are delicious.

What a massive disappointment. Watched several other groups wander in and promptly out too.

Limited food - and insanely expensive. I had the protein pancakes with banana. It was hard to find the $16.50 value on my plastic plate... and my coffee..... here’s a hint - don’t open a cafe on Norton St and serve terrible coffee. I think I’ve had better out of a vending machine.

The “cakes” and “slices” (if you’ll call them that - they’re ALL aimed at health buffs) are strange looking and oddly uninviting. Eggs on toast would have been nice. Although not what that coffee.

My partner had some sort of creamy looking cake slice. He struggled to eat it. It was pretty gross.

Sadly I don’t think this place will last unless they diversify their menu and get a REAL barista.

The peanut butter sauce itself is to die for, it’s SO GOOD. Not much of a variety to order from though for the pancakes and the cookie skillets but they have a wide range of gelato to choose from and a bunch of cakes as well.
