Review Locantro Bakery - Leichhardt

Came here for brunch one Saturday and was in pastry heaven. I can confirm that all pastries are fresh and delicious. My hubby and I bought too many šŸ˜ Also tried the six pack of Easter hot cross buns plus one to dine in and the taste was excellent, with the perfect ratio of fruits (and no butter required). Fantastic coffees with friendly counter and table service. Definitely will be back for more goodies!

Service is cheerful and friendly without being intrusive or overbearing! Strawberries were chewy, the rest of the tart was lovely though - not too sweet. Pizza was ok, not too much dough. Coffee tasted a bit bitter, hence 4/5. Would make a nice meeting place if you arenā€™t on the lookout for a 5/5 coffee.

The best baked goods, cakes and pastry in the inner west! The pizza slices, bread and chicken pie come highly recommended. Everything is made fresh daily and guaranteed delicious. All this plus great coffee and a deli counter!

Exceptional service, the food is always made fresh and ready to order, turnaround is very fast, staff are always polite and friendly. Their sandwiches go well on the palate with any of their coffees, and the greens donā€™t overwhelm the flavour of the meat and sauces. Their pies are also a must have!

First time here and we will now be back regularly. What a range of pastries, donuts, pies and sandwiches. We tried a sour cherry and pistachio pastry that was unlike any pastry tried before. Delicious!

Been here few times now, during my tafe breaks. A very good place for coffee, sandwiches, pastries all bake in-house! highly recommended.

Favourite local place to get coffee and pastries. Theyā€™ve recently done a nice renovation and thereā€™s more tables to sit outside

All food is delicious. Nice Italian vibes. Loses a star because Campos coffee is not very nice, they could definitely choose a better wholesale supplier of coffee.

I came here with a Groupon voucher for 24 macarons and was pleased with the service and the macarons. What a great bargain. They were delicious, aesthetic and tasty.

Square slice of tasty pizza and long black, sitting down outside while my partner is next door at Cerrone getting her bling fixed. Must be a trendy area as two men are chatting on the footpath in front of my table wearing the same sock less grey suede loafers. A new Hipster trend in Sydney and Melbourne
