Review La Giara - Leichhardt

Albert Tedjadiputra
Very nice place to get Italian food in the Leichhardt area. Served by a friendly team member makes your dining experience worthwhile. Tasty food and good portion. 2 hours of free parking is available in the basement, but won't be enough for 3-course dining.

Best value for money! The food comes out very quickly. 3 courses and 1 glass of wine each as dinner at $25/p is just crazy!! The restaurant is family run and cosy, rustic and the food is good!! Cannot fault the service and cannot fault the food!! Happy to come back and try the other dishes.

Awesome deal with Groupon. Great value for money. It was such a delicious Italian feast. The best eggplant I’ve ever eaten and beautiful tiramisu🥰 I loved the stuffed mushroom and pasta. I would’ve only changed amount of oil in our entree. It was a way to oily but still good. The portions were very big. Don’t eat much before you visit the restaurant. The staff was very nice and friendly. Definitely, we will return there one day. Yummy.

Amazing restaurant where I keep coming and bring my friends. Very unique combination of authentic Italian vibe, home made food and best service. If I had to choose my favourite restaurant in Sydney that would be an easy choice as I would choose La Giara

We stumbled on this place on a wet Sunday and the warmth we were welcomes with meant we will definitely be back. Waiter Jo was wonderful, kind, understandings and genuine with our 2yo son. Food was lively including the kids and vegetarian options. A hidden gem like the sydney italian restaurants of my childhood. Loved it!

Thank you Josephine for your attentiveness & great service last night. We were pleasantly surprised considering La Giara was the only restaurant in the forum. The food was great, barramundi & chicken was cooked perfectly. Definitely will be back, and as you know we travelled far, it was so worth it.
